Here are some photos from last night’s New York premiere of Westworld’s Season 4. Almost all of the cast came out, including Evan Rachel Wood, Tessa Thompson, Ariana DeBose, Ed Harris, Aaron Paul and Angela Sarafyan. Ariana, a recently minted Oscar winner, seems extremely booked and busy and that makes me so happy. She was not well-known before West Side Story, she was a jobbing stage actress and dancer, and now she’s hosting the Tony Awards and winning awards and booking jobs on HBO shows. Good for her. She looks great in her red dress too.
Evan Rachel Wood wore Zuhair Murad at the premiere. Tessa wore Interior. I like this phase of ERW, with her long hair and feminine-glam. Although I thought she looked great when she was doing the short-hair and menswear-looks too. I’m very worried that Evan is “next” when it comes to the MeToo backlash – Evan publicly spoke out about what Marilyn Manson did to her, how he abused her, terrorized her and raped her. Manson has already made moves to “punish” her for speaking out. It feels like Evan (hopefully) has more support within Hollywood. Although who knows.
Tessa’s Interior dress is so weird! I wonder if I would like it more if it was a different color.

I’m not a fan of the “peignoir” style dress, it’s very ’70’s Stepford Wife. It looks good on her, I just don’t like them.
Ed Harris needs to shave his head. I’ve had such a crush on him for years but that mullet fringe is making me question myself.
@SpankyB He may be keeping his hair like that for his wife/girlfriend. When my ex-husband shaved his head, he lost the scent that I loved (Decrease in pheromones??) which was apparently embedded in his hair. I couldn’t stand touching his head without the hair and, though he looked great with a shaved head, a “certain something” was missing and never retrieved.
Evan looks lovely. I concur Tess’s dress is weird.
Tessa’s dress look like crinkled cellophane paper for a woodland nymph.

And I agree about being concerned for ERW – hopefully the fact that Manson has less power than Depp will factor in here.
Angela’s look is amazing, head to toe. She looks like an etheral goddess.
ERW’s dress is gorgeous (esp. love that blue!), but I don’t like her hair color, I agree that it is too yellow/brassy. But she is beautiful, short hair, long hair, whatever she’s wearing. I certainly hope that MM is not able to cause her any problems; I don’t think anyone was surprised to find out that he’s even more of a disgusting, predatory creep than he “pretended” to be. I hope she has a good team in place, and I suspect that she does.
Jesse Pinkman’s styling is a NO for me. Sorry, dog. 😉

Tessa’s dress looks like it’s made of the same stuff as those shirts from the 90’s that looked like a toddler size but somehow stretched out to fit a grown woman. I had an apple green one. 😂

It really does!! Everything old is new again. I just hope that they don’t quit making jeans/pants with a reasonable rise in favor of those super-low-rise ones we rocked back then. Twenty years and a couple of kids later, I need more coverage. The world needs me in a mid-rise at minimum. 😂

Cute. But Evan Rachel Wood could wear a knapsack and I would be screaming CUUUTE! After what Marilyn Manson did to her, and is still doing to her (defamation lawsuit after Johnny Takes Dumps on Bedsheets’s win), I will always voice nothing but public and private support for her. Her HBO Max doc is really worth watching. I didn’t for a long time before I was scared it would be too emotionally triggering, but specific acts of abuse is not what the doc is about. She is still absolutely terrified of him. So, yeah, CUTE. Not blah.
