Well well well. For weeks now, the British media has been crowing about how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are “at odds” because Harry is going solo to the coronation, and how Meghan is “in hiding” because something something rebranding herself. You mean all of that was a lie? You know Harry and Meghan are totally fine and loved up? The Sussexes went to last night’s Lakers game (the Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies). The Brits will say that the Sussexes hate the royals. I say that the Sussexes prefer to show up for the one true king, LeBron James.
I was shocked by how quickly the Daily Mail got the ID on Meghan’s outfit. According to them, Meghan wore a pink linen suit by Staud – £360 for the blazer and £235 for the shorts. She also wore Aquazzura pumps. She loves dress shorts! If I had her legs, I would too. It’s so funny that the Mail is still obsessively compiling the cost of Meghan’s clothes as well – as we know now, she was always paying for her clothes and people need to get out of her business.

Yes Meghan has said that she’s a big fan of Julia Roberts and Julia was actually told in an interview that Meghan was a fan of hers and that people sometimes said they looked alike and she was really sweet about. Julia’s brother Eric was also on Suits and he defended her character and professionalism in an interview that iirc was post the Oprah interview/sham bullying investigation.
Some post recently (cough B****ish cough) said that Sussexs are enjoying saperate times. They indirectly said some thing. But Megan and Harry actually spoiled those articles with these photos.
My doubt is old Cambridges, ok boomer Cambridges are jealous. I never seen a twin flame moment with them. Always behaving like 1950s and calling it protocol, perfection, never step a foot wrong…… blah sh*t. Few weeks ago king and queen of Spain were in these saperation/divorce rumours. Now Sussex couples.
I suspect an envious person behind this. Both stories have similarities. Unworthy people are always jealous of talented. Both meghan and letizia were famous and had popular career. They have their own styles. The are advocates for social issues. Good at public speaking. A lot of similarities.

I absolutely love that shorts suit. I’m also fan of dress shorts. I don’t have her legs but just a slight lengthening of the shorts and it works for me. Now let’s wait for Cathy’s version of the shorts suit…
I had the exact same thought about her shorts! I’d love to be able to wear them and look like Meghan does, but, sadly, absolutely not.

I 100% agree. Meghan looks amazing I. Dress shorts…I would look like a tourist in a terrible vacation movie. But they are gorgeous and glowing.
I don’t think that’s actor, Rick Hoffman, @Lorelei. M&H are with Archewell staffers, not celebrity friends. It seems more like a fun outing with their employees. I don’t think Meg is in touch with Rick anymore, though they were close friends during her Suits days. From that period, Meg is still tight with Abigail Spencer (a former Suits guest star), and perhaps M still keeps in touch with Sarah Rafferty of Suits, who, I believe, attended Meg’s famous 2019 baby shower.

i was actually curious and found the exact suit set on Staud. it’s linen and there’s a pic of her getting back in her seat and u can tell it’s very wrinkled. i guess thats why it looks the way it does.
Linen wrinkles super easily but is the perfect, breathable spring/summer fabric. I personally love it, even though it’s impossible to keep smooth—it’s literally hailed as the most sustainable fabric so I’m not surprised Meghan chose it. I also like the relaxed fit but it’s not for everybody.
Missed opportunity to juxtapose when W and K went to the game in Boston and were so stiff it was comical. I’m petty like that tho.

I’m looking for good linen duvet covers too. As soon as it gets warm here, I’m wearing linen. I’m going eventually for the chic artist granny from California look in the future (since I’m not beautiful Meghan).
I love linen too but can’t wear it – it’s SOOOOO itchy for me. Maybe I just need to find the right type of linen, but have ordered and returned several linen shirts, etc that I couldn’t wear simply because of the itch. I have a Belgian linen duvet cover that is incredibly soft, so maybe it’s #notalllinen lol.
I’ve only every had one itchy experince with linen. J crew. And it’s so thick too! It’s dry clean only but I’m ready to toss it in the wash and wash it till whatever the heck they did to this natural fibrr to make it so awful breaks down.

I just grinned from ear to ear when I saw them at the game last night. I’m just glad to see them enjoying each other and on a date night. I’m also disgusted that my Celtics got Pegs and Buttons when they visited on their fake awards show visit in Boston.
H&M didn’t get any boos like W&K did at the Celtics game. Sort of makes the claim that W&K are more popular in the US and H&M aren’t popular look like the lie it is.
I wonder how much of the booing vs the cheering is based on popularity (probably a large part) and how much is based on the idea that W&K were in the US for an official visit so their presence at the game felt very much like a command performance and like the Boston fans should have been grateful that W&K decided to attend a Celtics game.
Maybe they’re one and the same – maybe the reason H&M were so popular as working royals (and now) is because they never act like its a command performance or like people should just be grateful for their presence. They never expect applause just because of their titles and I think people really pick up on that vs W&K.

@ANG I don’t think these things were arranged just this week. The TED talk introduction will probably have been arranged ages ago with her photographer friend and the hospitality box for H&M along with the Archwell crew likely booked at least a couple of weeks ago.
It was so wonderful to see how happy, healthy & loved up they both are. I’m very glad that they are safe and thriving in the US even though it makes me ashamed of my own country. It also makes me angry with many of the nastier elements in my own country (RF/BM/racist trolls & idiots) who made it impossible for them to thrive in the same way here.

My son’s brain practically short-circuits when I explain that we had to drop film off and wait (sometimes days) to get pictures back, and then most of them would usually be terrible anyway. Kind of how he reacted when I told him that when I was little we didn’t have a remote control and had to physically get up and walk over to the tv any time we wanted to change the channel or volume.

I love Aquazurra but a) they are out of my price range and b) the pumps all seem to high for me. I’ve found now that I’m a certain age I can’t wear heels over a few inches as i might seriously injure myself.
You’re not wrong. I used to do backhand springs on a beam in gymnastics, skiing, tennis, my whole life I’ve never broken a bone. Went for a walk, wearing SNEAKERS, tripped on a rough road edge and broke my ankle, this was last year. Just last weekend, I’m walking, and I couldn’t believe it, it happened again. I’m back in the damn boot. I was wearing sneakers again. I’m a platform girl. I HAVE to have height lol. Things aren’t going well lol.

I used to wear heels constantly, even up and down subway stairs, but stopped when I resigned from my job to have a baby, and I’m SO MAD because I’ve worn ballet flats for so many years that now I can’t wear heels at all— it’s so painful and I’d be tripping all over. Somehow I didn’t realize your feet were sort of “trained” to wear heels that high, and once you stopped, it’s hard to go back. It reminds me of how I used to know French so well but so much time passed without me using it that I’ve forgotten it all. I get so annoyed at myself, lol :/

Sounds like you need to get rid of killer sneakers. Similar thing happened to me last year after I bought suede Uggs oxfords – something about the shape just caused me to trip and not be able to right myself, then I broke bones in my R hand 2x. Last doctor said I should get rid of those shoes. Done. No problem since on rough pavement; I stay upright even after tripping.

I noticed from a photo in the Netflix documentary that Meg gets her shapely legs from her grandmother, Jeanette. She clearly gets her lifelong fitness from the yoga practice her mother, Doria, taught her from the age of 7.
BTW, I can’t wear heels well, due to flat arches mostly. It takes a lot of exercising ones arches (rolling your feet over a tennis ball), and strengthening your ankles, thighs and hip muscles, in order to wear high heels properly. Meg once gave an interview where she said she wears a half size larger and places padding in the bottom of her heels. She probably also keeps flats handy for switching off when she’s in the car. Heels definitely do make a difference in showing off fit, beautiful legs.

@flower actually to me, she’s gone back to being herself. Both of her recent appearances are exactly how she used to dress and style her self pre-royal. The video appearance was her 2012/2013 sleek hair press appearances and the blazer and Bermuda shorts outfit from the lakers are exactly how she used to dress around 2015/16. Absolutely love that Meghan finally feels comfortable and has the breathing space to just be herself again!

^^ I truly doubt the Met Gala. That can be a bit OTT posing to be seen, which is so not H&M’s vibe. They are already well known, and not trying to be known. That kind of event Meg would probably have loved to be invited to attend during her old Hollywood auditioning days, when she was trying to make it in Hollywood. She’s well beyond that now. She’s a busy mom, a philanthropist, a caring Duchess, and an activist for women and girls. H&M may do some industry events once they have Netflix romantic comedies to promote.
Meanwhile, let’s look forward to the two awards events Meg will hopefully attend in May!

Looks like she’s going back to her true personal style, I love it. Whatever happened to her style-wise in the UK was not good. You could tell she was trying to dress to please and while she herself was always beautiful, her clothes screamed “this isn’t me”. She herself told us why and I’m glad she shed that whole Duchess look. I love this outfit. It looks fun and summery.

I’ve been to a Laker game at Staples Center (now Crypto) and because of the company I work for , I was also watching the game from a suite. You’re pretty much oblivious when the camera just pans at you. It’s not scripted, the camera just get your reaction live. I’ve seen it all the time where people are surprised that they’re on the big screen and they were just doing whatever . The fact that the camera just closed in on them at a spontaneous time, they seem genuinely happy being together and enjoying the game.
And yes you heard the fans at the Laker game. They were cheering. Compared to the booing WK got during the Boston Celtics game… lol…
Which leads me to a few weekends ago we treated our out of state relatives to a Hollywood bus tour. The tour guide mentioned Harry and Meghan and some Brits on our tour mentioned they don’t claim them. Funny because me and another tourist from San Francisco responded back and said we liked Meghan and Harry .. lol…
They looked fantabulous as usual. Meghan has beautiful thin legs, which is what yoga does. I love that she returned to her Cali style and noted that the Duke wore white trainers—no more TJMaxx clearance sales. I love when a woman keeps her man looking as sheik!

I just want to see them relaxed in any situation than what they have been going through the past 5 or 6 years-they look rested and calm and enjoying the game and date night-my biggest problem is the royal family not allowing family members to work and thrive outside the family bubble-all members of all families do not work for the family business-one Murdock’s son quit working for the family business-I don’t think all of Bill Gates children will work in the family business-I know several local business people whose children do not work in the family business-noone gets mad and throw shitballs at family members who do not work for them-Meghan and Harry really don’t extend themselves in the public eye as much as the royal family-this constant saying they want attention is very moot.
Love me some Aquazurra pumps. They’ve replaced Prada and Miu Miu in my heart recently since those two lines have let me down for the past few years style wise. It’s a good color for her, as well.
I will say, in a broader context, that one of the biggest mistakes the RBF ever made was creating a sense of a united enemy against this couple. The moment you create a situation where two people feel like it’s them against the world, they’re going to want to unite and connect more strongly than before. I say this because…fair warning to those of you dealing with couples that are legitimately toxic or outright abusive together. This wasn’t one of those cases, but you’ll see the same dynamics play out if you’re trying to help people suffering.

The British Press and their haters has literally no idea about LA culture. If Celebs wants to be seen they would sit Court-side during a Laker game(ie the publicity seeking Kardashians were also there sitting court side). Jack Nicholson always used to sit court side but he’s also a big Laker fan.
The company I work for owns a suite at the Crypto arena(which used to be Staples Center). Having actually watched a game inside a suite, it’s definitely more private as you have your own room with food and drinks, with just your own party. If Brits have Never been to an American sporting event, the camera always goes around the event to catch people spontaneously, from famous people to regular people. Last time we went to a football game at So-Fi , the camera caught Kate Walsh and was featured on the big screen. People are always surprised when they’re caught on camera lol.. the narrative that the BP and their trolls keep saying what about privacy, is only making the BP and their trolls look stupid 🙂
