It’s been a slow week for royal gossip, which explains all of the wishful-thinking stories in the British media. The rota is trying to make themselves feel better, for sure, but their biggest problem is that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still the most-watched royals and the biggest money-makers. That’s why so many old stories are getting regurgitated too, including the Mail’s obsession with creating headlines out of Meghan’s old blog posts from The Tig. So, it’s time to repeat the story about how Meghan and Harry are not going to do anymore Netflix series or write anymore memoirs:
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are to stop making tell-all Netflix documentaries, publishing memoirs and sitting down for interviews that bash the Royal Family, as insiders claim they have ‘nothing left to say’.
More than three years after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to ditch life in the Royal Family for pastures new in California, the pair will take a step back, only remaining behind the scenes of any future Netflix production.
The drastic change of direction follows their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey back in 2021, a six-part Netflix docuseries called Harry & Meghan and the Prince’s tell-all memoir Spare. These included blistering attacks on members of the Royal Family, including King Charles, Queen Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as well as the wider institution.
Now the couple plan to take on roles further away from the glare of the public eye.
‘That period of their life is over — as there is nothing left to say’, one source told The Sun.
I also think the Sussexes are “turning the page” and focusing more on the future, but I love it if they continued to talk about their lives and what they’ve survived. The Sussex-haters are always crying about “why are they still talking about things that happened years ago??” Because sh-t didn’t end in 2020. The reaction to Harry’s memoir, the fact that the British media basically took a hit out on the Sussexes in New York, the reaction to the Sussexes’ Netflix series… none of this is over. Maybe they’re starting a new chapter, but it’s part of the same f–king book. Speaking of, I absolutely want Harry to write another book. I also want Meghan to do another season of Archetypes and for Harry to do a podcast as well.

Meghan did a total of 1 interview and they can’t stop whining. PH himself has said that he has 400 more pages that didn’t make his book. And, I”m sure, a lot more content that he held back about the family.
Things that happened years ago?
Like how they were constantly degraded and punished at the queens funeral? Eons.
Like how they were kicked out of their gifted family home in the UK? I mean that was months ago. Surely anyone would be over having a whole ass home and likely the only one they can be safe in in the Uk taken from them by now.
The constant continuous onslaught from the media? I mean that was yesterday. And tomorrow.

I definitely think Harry should publish Part 2 of Spare or whatever he wants to call it. Why let those 400+ additional pages go to waste? People in the UK and here in the US deserve to know the truth about the “Royal Family”. They certainly won’t get that from the Royal Rota.

I agree, he pulled his punches and provided sympathetic context whenever he could. I don’t fault him for that. In a way it really shows up the absurdity of that life and how he was treated.
I would love for them both to do pods! They’re thoughtful, intelligent, and well networked.

The Sun had a similar article. This is a clearly coordinated messaging campaign. But today, The Fail has article from Dick Fitzwilliams saying the Sussexes will continue to talk. So… this is obviously just cause they’re desperate for stories.
And they’ve also had stories about them doing a documentary in South Africa and then the evening standard had them doing another documentary about their life.
All of this pushed by the British media. Yup they have no idea what’s happening and are just creating news as always.
All we have is what Harry and Meghan have said is that they are moving on.
It’s possible they could do more docs but no one’s seems to know and it’s especially not about the royals because they would have leaked a or it by now.
Insiders know nothing. Harry and Meg will do what they want. They will talk and do interviews when there is a reason. I believe they have more to tell.
Here they are just regurgitating what H&M have already said as if they thought of it themselves.

The amount of print these idiots give to their Harry and Megan fantasies is astounding. Personally I would have loved it if “Spare” did savage his family, but Harry has a softer heart than me. As far as being away from the public eye. Meghan didn’t sign with the biggest agency in Hollywood to lay low. I fully expect another season of Archetypes or any other manner of podcast. Harry could easily do a podcast himself. And they both will be present for the Invictus Games.
And they will both still do their philanthropic work which will necessitate the occasional public appearance.
Bottom line, the U.K. press have no idea what the Sussexes have up their sleeves.
According to Scobie, Harry is supposed to have his own podcast.
I suspect as much, that Harry is coming out with a podcast probably tied to his support of the military folks. If he actually rented space somewhere as was reported it was not to get away from Meghan but to conduct the interviews for his podcast.
There is still so much they haven’t said and the british press and the BRF know it. I also think we might not have gotten the interviews etc we did had the british press not kept attacking them. Like if they had just left them alone after they left in 2020, I am not sure they would have done the Oprah interview. Or it would have been a very different interview. But as Meghan said…..how can the firm expect her to remain silent when its still attacking her in the press?
I do think they are moving on (have moved on) but I also think its their story and their experience to share and I am sure we will hear more as time goes on, just think it will be more like The Cut interview where there are some comments, not a whole interview devoted to William being a psychopath.

I mean they said as much six months ago in the last episode of the docu series. The British media doesn’t generally have any real scoops, but we do know that the heart of Invictus documentary is coming out later this summer so I wonder if there’s more stuff that is coming out whether it’s archetypes season 2 or Harry’s podcast or another documentary or show that they got wind of somehow and are trying to act like they are ahead of the game. It’s funny to me that they think that the only reason that people support them is because of their connections to the royal family, because most of the people that I know that support them do so in spite of that connection. Do they honestly think that what Meghan wears sells out because she’s the Duchess of Sussex, and not because she has great style?

I think she had a hit blog and a line with a clothing store before she was, so maybe not sell out but acting like a that title is why people buy stuff is silly. Yeah the Telegraph had this story about two months ago. It probably back again because Harry’s going to testify in court next week.
