I’m super looking forward to watching Dune on IMAX. I got so into it after the first movie. I may actually be a super nerd about it and see a double feature with Part 1 if any IMAX theaters around me do that.
The LV on Alicia Vikander was suprisingly decent for LV. Not great, barely good but compared to some of the atrocities they’ve put her in, decent.
It must be me, I have no interest in Star Wars, Dune, Indy Jones or the upcoming MI.
Just finished watching the current The Witcher episodes and anyone can clearly see why Cavill is leaving. It has completely gone down hill.
Tim C., looks good and Dune will likely be a beautifully photographed epic.
Yeah I agree about the new Witcher season – I was a bit confused about the plot(s), they kept jumping around. The white flame has so far been a bit dull.
Cavill is leaving because he thought he was going to be in the next Superman film again. They had to recast and he’s not in the Superman film so…
There have been lots of reports that he clashed with the woman who got the series going. The show is veering from the books (and some say she didn’t even like the books). The show has really gone downhill, and now that he’s gone, there is zero reason to watch.
I want to see Indiana Jones, but no interest in Dune.
Ugh will I suffer through seeing Claire Danes to watch my beloved Timothy?
Season 2 of Justified is some of the best television ever written, directed, & performed. Every character understood the assignment & nailed it.
Boyd Crowder, Dewie Crow, I watch the show over & over just for their performances.
I’ve zero interest in Dune. Best thing about it is Zendaya but even she isn’t enough to make me sit through it.

What really jumped out at me was that he wants nothing to do with parenting his kids. What a loser. A lot of comments I’ve read about the situation are very dismissive of this woman (boohoo, cry in your $4 million Martha’s Vineyard mansion, etc which is all true) but….what kind of fool doesn’t want contact with his own teenage daughters?
Really? That’s terrible. Not sure why being wealthy would make her immune from heartbreak. He sounds incredibly callous. I was stunned too by his wanting nothing to do with his kids, like it was a switch he turned off when he no longer wanted to live that life.
The comments on Lipstick Alley were 🎯. This guy was a social climber with more red flags than a NASCAR race, but she was blind. She’s old, old, old money and his stepdad (?) was a teacher at the elite private schools – which means in that world, but not of it. He love bombed her and used her.
Yes, the guy was a social climber who used her. This op-ed is not really intended to get sympathy from us peasants either, it’s to expose him to.their social circle and basically lock him out.

Yes I also suffered financial abuse it is rough and it can be difficult to talk about.
I think it was very powerful the way she ended the article:

Michael K did a proper obituary, for D-listed. It hurts my heart, but I get why he is done, and I will forever be thankful for his completely irreverent humor. The entire planet needs more people like Michael, and he should know we will follow him wherever he goes!!! Thank you so much, for all of it.
The era of mean gossip is over. That’s why dlisted is closing. This place evolved, and he never did. He’s what we used to refer to as a bitter old queen. He and Perez are dinosaurs now. At least he realized that.
I do respect him shutting it down instead of selling it off. It would have become Mean People. Sometimes mean is funny, but mostly mean is just mean.
Dune was the first movie I saw in the cinema after lockdown and it blew me away. Was like – this is the sci-fi I never knew I needed! I cant wait. Definitely looking forward to this. And Barbie hahaha.
