Cameron Diaz is currently working on Knight & Day, an action film with Tom Cruise that was previously titled Wichita. We’ve seen photos of Cruise all serious and adrenaline-pumped on the set looking like he’s doing his own stunts – in wedge shoes. Cameron has confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Tommy boy indeed does his own stunts and that he practically begs for more dangerous and action-filled scenes. Cameron said that Cruise is like a professional stuntman and then she added the key point in her anecdote – “What he does is, like, crazy.” Is anyone else picturing the couch-jumping incident? He has to channel all that mad energy somewhere:

The actress — who stars opposite Cruise in upcoming movie Knight & Day — insists the Top Gun star is the “best” when it comes to daring scenes.
“Tom was on top of the car, and I’m inside the car going: ‘Ahhh! Ahhh!’” she said.
“And he’s on the hood of the car flying through the air, you know, cabled to a car, jumping 20 feet across — I’m like: ‘I want an action scene, you guys! ‘I wanna fight! I wanna be on the hood of a car! Write it! Just write it in somewhere.’
“Tom is a professional stuntman. If he wasn’t Tom Cruise the movie star, he would be the best stuntman in the business. He’s phenomenal. What he does is, like, crazy.”

The NY Post has more news from the set of Knight & Day that shows just how dangerous stunt work can be. In one filmed scene, Tom and Cameron fled on a motorcycle from real stampeding bulls (they’re probably trained bulls, but still) in what looks like a recreated scene from the running of the bulls in Pamplona. A few days earlier, seven of the bulls got loose and hurt some passers-by although it sounds like none of the injuries were serious. Damn Tom, slow down.
In related Tom Cruise news, OK! Magazine, which is running a bizarre campaign to compete with Star lately, claims that Tom and Katie are doing fine and that they have reached an “Exclusive New Marriage Deal – $75 Million for Baby Number 2!” This is probably no more true than the other stories in competing rags about how Katie is moving out or leaving Tom. It’s nice to see gossip magazines making up positive fake stories, though. I’ll put this one on the imaginary shelf next to Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson’s domestic bliss, Jennifer Aniston’s pregnancy, and Jen and Brad’s reunion.

Yeah I have to agree. He always seems out to prove to the world (and himself) how manly and tough he is. Aside from all the crazy, I feel sorry for him because he seems unhappy and constantly trying to convince himself and everyone that his life is perfect.
I think it is because he is so short… its easy to throw his body around… like a gymnast!

This Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz project sounds like a bomb in the making. Already a name change? The first title was an abomination that movie critics would have made clever puns about, then they change it to a title they could make EVEN MORE PUNS about. *Sigh* Give Cameron a stunt, already.

Anyone this movie looks like its gonna suck… They need to give us what we really wanna see (or at least what I want to see), a pump-wearing Tom Cruise dressed as a woman (think: Katie Holmes) making out with Cameron Diaz who could pass his boyfriend (she’s taller and has narrower hips than Tom).
I would believe he were just an adrenaline junkie if he were constantly doing bullshit like this on his own. That he is doing it in movies, where I presume he is supposed to be playing what is supposed to be a likeable character (he usually does, it seems, but I haven’t bothered to watch his movies in a long time).
I don’t like him. He seems more like an approval junkie.

I’m a sort of an adrenaline junkie, as I used to skydive in my mid 20’s but no, Tom is just merely bipolar with an emphasis on the manic pole. These rare types hardly show any signs of depressive activity. Their manic pole gets in physical and verbal altercations with others. That IS their high but they don’t have the balls to go skydiving. The manic person just says weird things, over spends or picks fights with others. It’s never a calculated life threatening thing such as skydiving when you need your wits about you. They are sick pussies.

Why is Nicole Kidman still “Tom’s ex.” They both have remarried, she is one of the most famous actresses and many people think she is very talented. Her husband is a well known country music star. They divorced in 2001, is being Tom’s ex still her most important title to these people?

I predict it will be a huge flop, because a large number of people figure Tom is pretty much a nut.
Tom Cruise is lucky to be a rich and famous man, if not he would be one of those losers who gets on blogs and complain about famous people.
Knowing that I will never be rich or famous makes me qualified to tell those rich people how to live.
