When we first heard about Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet possibly/probably dating, my first thought was “what in the world do they talk about?” I’ve actually come around to the idea that Kylie and Timothee might be okay together. Like, it seems random but who knows, maybe they have more in common than we realize. Well, it looks like they’re still happening and they had a date at one of Beyonce’s concerts in LA.
They were seen in some kind of VIP area with Kendall Jenner. Kendall and Kylie got the most attention, but fans soon realized that Timothee was discreetly rolling with them – Timmy wore a hoodie and a baseball cap and he was seen smoking and chatting with Kylie and some other people in the area.
So, they’re happening. Still. It’s been months and I guess they’re actually a couple now? What do you think? The couple that goes to Beyonce’s birthday concert together is a couple built to last! Can you even imagine Timothee dealing with Kris Jenner? OMG.

I loved him so much until I saw the horrendous Wonka trailer and now it’s like the wool has been pulled from my eyes and he is SO uninteresting to me now, lol!
Ok to be fair, the TRAILER is fine, but he is so so bad in it imo. So I lost my perception of him as this fantastic actor, haha.

I heard (on NPR, on Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me!) that there are so-called “listening seats” being sold for $500 at some of the Beyonce shows (i.e. seats with an entirely obstructed view so you can hear the show but not see the show) so maybe this platform is the cause of some of those.
I freely admit that as a middle-aged woman I am not TC’s target demographic, and even before I officially became An Old I never, EVER liked the wispy little delicate boys, I have always liked a man to have a solid frame and some height, but he is so delicate that I find it offputting. His styling is just the icing on the offputting cake. However, If Kylie likes it, that’s great for them.
My question, too! How is that even allowed? But mostly I found this video hilarious: nothing says “low profile romance” like stepping onto a VIP section platform in the middle of the crowd in a Beyonce concert 😉

Right. They’re young, famous and successful and probably run in some of the same circles based on that trifecta alone. To me, it looks like two people in their twenties just hanging out and partying together, definitely hooking up–I don’t get serious soulmate vibes from them, though.
Lily Rose is just a nepo baby though. I dont think she fits with a serious indie image either. If you look at who he’s dated its basically just nepo babies like lily rose and Madonnas daughter and then that eliza woman.. And apparently some instamodels. I really don’t see them as that different from kylie.
Nepo baby or not, Lilly Rose has an acting career and is the daughter of two serious actors. Lourdes is extremely low-profile and college-educated. She went to a performing arts school with Timothee, which is where they met.
Kylie is famous for being on a reality TV show.
They’re really not the same beyond being born into wealthy families, which again is probably not uncommon in the circles that Chalamet runs in. But to say that someone like Lourdes Leon, a person who has mostly eschewed the spotlight is the same as someone like Kylie Jenner, someone who has actively sought it out isn’t really correct.
Kylie was born on third base, knows it, and used it to build a massive business. I’ve never seen the Kardashians TV show so I don’t know what her on air persona is, but she’s clearly smart and driven. And she definitely isn’t with with Timothee for his money or fame, which he probably appreciates.

Would lily have be catapulted into high profile projects without her famous parents though? Technically I don’t really see a big difference between her and kylie, both went into the family business when in their teens and are profiting from nepotism. If lily was super talented or had actually bothered to study acting before she embarked on these high profile projects maybe it would appear different , but she basically got opportunities to become an actor because of her dad when she was a teenager.
As for Lourdes I don’t have an opinion, but I don’t think it’s that impressive for a rich kid that has every opportunity in the world that she basically did an undergraduate degree that her mum payed for but I guess that shows how low the bar is if you’re a nepo baby.
I guess Timmy is sort of the same in that he grew up very privileged and well connected and that’s why he gravitates towards these type of women. He’s not like zendaya or Tom Holland or Taylor Russell who had to make it based on pure talent ( although he is no doubt talented I doubt he would have been super famous barely out of his teens if he wasn’t well connected.).
Coop, Tom Holland dad is an entertainer and his mom is a majeup artist or something. His dad has a lot of goodwill. Some say Tom was born rich. I don’t know about that but he was born connected.
I think it comes down to him being a ‘credible’ actor who seems to take his work seriously and the kardashians being famous for being fake and superficial.
He maybe a talented actor with a promising career ahead of him, but the kardashians are popular culture icons and have been for a very long time. The fact is credible actors date nobody influencers and models all the time, the kardashian jenners are at the very top of that category.
Also the are the same age hanging round LA and probably run in the same circles so it’s probably not that weird from their perspective.

He’s staring in films with these stunning and talented women like zendaya and Harry styles new GF Taylor Russell but doesn’t date women on his level of talent. He dates nepo babies, Insta models and reality stars. Which kinda tells us he isn’t relationship material for women who are intelligent and talented.
Not just Timmy but other movie stars like Chris Evans, Chris Pine, etc also have a long history of sniffing after fame chasers. It reeks of insecurity and laziness on their behalf. They clearly like being in a relationship where they don’t have to put in any real effort and still enjoy the power imbalance.
How have the two chrises had a long history of that? Evans dated Jessica Biel and minka Kelly when they were arguably at the same fame level then jenny slate. Alba baptista, who he’s likely engaged to, is the only one less famous at the time. And they are never seen. Less familiar with pine except for Annabelle Walls but he’s not doing pap walks.
Chris Pine has literally dated two reality TV stars – Audrina Patridge and Vali Bloom. He was trying to purse another reality TV star Samira Mighty but got rejected by her cause she was only 20/21 at that time. Pine was recently pap’d on a yacht with a woman who looked half his age. There’s a very good chance she’s some Insta model. Pine is a sleazy weirdo that exclusively dates fame chasers actually lol
Minka Kelly is an infamous fame chaser and she had on and off relationship with Evans only after he became Captain America. She was nowhere near his level of fame and neither was Jenny Slate (who definitely enjoyed Evan’ fame). The only person you got right was Jessica Biel. But that relationship happened when Evans was super young and she was clearly more famous than him.

Not everyone measures a person’s worth by their bank account. There are many (most?) rich people are truly horrible and the most intelligent, altruistic people tend to be poorer – firemen, nurses, teachers, scientists.

He’s certainly NO A-list actor like Chris Pine for eg but he certainly likes the attention, with his antics on SM & conveniently deactivated his IG around the same time SAG AFTRA went all out with the strike, one which up to now he has not publicly supported. I put him in the same category as Brad Pitt in this situation. Pratt & Hemsworth are more popular & more out there but at least they don’t act as if they are above the PR shenanigans’
