Zoe Kravitz filed for divorce from Karl Glusman just before Christmas 2020. Their marriage only lasted about a year and a half, although they were together for more than four years all total. I always found it interesting that Zoe filed for divorce soon after she met Channing Tatum for the first time, when she basically auditioned him for a film she would eventually direct. Zoe and Channing have truly been together ever since, and now they’re engaged.
Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz are headed to the altar! Multiple sources tell PEOPLE exclusively the couple — who were first linked in 2021 — are recently engaged.
Over the weekend the stars were photographed leaving a Halloween party, and Kravitz (dressed as Rosemary Woodhouse from the 1968 horror movie Rosemary’s Baby) seemingly showed off her new engagement ring in the snaps.
I’m including the Halloween photos in this post – I was so focused on the knife, I missed the fact that Zoe wore a giant diamond ring as well. So… that was their engagement announcement? Rosemary’s Baby for Halloween, complete with a big knife and a diamond ring? Well, it’s unique! Honestly, I’m not surprised that Channing proposed – he is simply the kind of man who enjoys having a wife. I wonder what Lenny thinks of all of this. (Honestly, I don’t think Lenny gets too involved in Zoe’s life, but he reportedly likes Channing.)

LOL! I saw this photo of them yesterday and laughed at the halloween costumes, then zoomed in to see if that was a real knife, then moved on with my day. Totally missed the ring.
I think she’s stunning, and I know they’ve been together for a while, but I feel like she doesn’t seem like she has fun? I don’t think I’ve ever seen her laugh or smile for photos/videos or interviews. Of course she doesn’t owe anyone a smile!! It just seems like for the most part, he’s goofy and easygoing, and she is the opposite. Perhaps it’s different when they’re in private.

The “Smile More” stuff when applied to women is always super annoying but I totally admit that’s always my first thought when I see photos of Zoe. Posh has said many, many times that she hates her smile so maybe Zoe feels the same?
I feel the same way about Zoe’s mom Lisa Bonet, in that the woman never seems to smile and never seems to have fun. It’s more like these half-smiles which makes it look like she’s constantly smirking in all the pictures I’ve seen with her standing next to her now ex Jason Momoa. If you google Lisa and Zoe, both of them are never really smiling on red carpets together and have identical expressions on their faces so like mother like daughter. Neither of them have to smile for cameras if they don’t want to and they owe us nothing of course. But it is something interesting I’ve noticed. Lenny Kravitz and Jason Momoa are about half and half, I can find pictures of them smiling and not smiling.

Why are they an odd pairing? They’re both actors in Hollywood who are relatively attractive and probably wealthy. That’s actually a typical match in that town.
I kind of feel the same way. I think it’s because Tatum seems so bubbly and fun and Kravitz seems so serious. They’re both obviously beautiful. Maybe they complement each other well, maybe this will be done in a year and a half.

I’m not a fan of those skating rink huge diamond rings. They have no sparkle, no flash. The first day I wore my diamond I looked at it in all different lights and directions just to see it give off that twinkle.
It’s called an Old Mine Cut. They are actually quite elegant in real life, they have fewer but larger facets. If it’s an original it was cut in the 1800s and cutting technology was different back then. Some cutters are starting to replicate them. With the advent of modern cuts the best color/clarity Old Mine stones were recut to the modern “round brilliant” so there are few originals left and they are big collectors items. Old Mine stones are stunning by candle light and cloudy days. Round brilliant cuts look flashy under modern jeweler spotlights and direct sun.
