A few days ago, Kim Kardashian made a dramatic hair change. She went back to “icy blonde” and cut her hair/took out her extensions. The new hair color does nothing for her, but the point is that something happened recently which made Kim decide to give herself a big makeover. We’ve just learned what that something is – she and Odell Beckham Jr. apparently “fizzled out.” Kim did a “breakup blonde” makeover. I barely remembered that Kim and Odell were together, and they mostly avoided being photographed together. They were seen on Oscar night, after the Vanity Fair Oscar party. Kim also attended his blowout birthday party last fall. So they were dating (or whatever) for about seven months.

“It’s over and just fizzled out,” a source tells PEOPLE of the pair, who were first linked in September 2023.
The split comes after the SKIMS founder, 43, and the Baltimore Ravens wide receiver, 31, were spotted exiting the 2024 Vanity Fair Oscar Party together in March. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that they were “hanging out pretty much all night once he got there.”
“There wasn’t a ton of PDA like some of the other couples, but there was a lot of touching, and they were right near each other the entire time,” the insider added. “They were careful about not being too all over each other, but there was lots of chemistry, and they left together.”
TMZ got the breakup confirmation at the same time as People Mag – thank you, Kris Jenner. TMZ’s sources say that Kim and Odell have just phased into a friendship and there’s no bad blood (ha). They still respect each other, no one’s bad-mouthing anyone. Which sounds fine – Odell was seen out with another woman a few weeks ago, so maybe that was it. Or maybe they were never super-exclusive in the first place. Kim making sure that everyone knows she’s single ahead of the Met Gala is so funny. Is she going to try to find a new boyfriend there?

I did a lot of hair colors that didn’t all suit me but the point is having a little fun. It’s just hair. If she likes it, I love it. She deserves fun like everyone of us.
I’m aware she’s rich and have help but the woman have 4 kids and an ex that is very powerful, very mysoginist and very ill. I think her life is quite shitty overall.

I think you could make that argument about Kanye when he was at the peak of his career but not sure you can say that anymore. Basically since Donda and his weird political stunts, the divorce, etc the dude has mostly become a punchline in the hip hop world and beyond.
His rep took a hit but he hardly ever had a good rep to begin with. He may be a public punchline but Kim also is, and she doesn’t have the status Kanye have. She never will. Kanye is a respected artist in his circles. He still have a huge fanbase. I don’t follow him closely anymore but I know he did a listening party in an Paris arena a few weeks ago. Tickets were PRICY and sold like hot cakes. As long as he makes money, he has power.

Unnecessary and thoroughly unserious conspiracy theory: OBJ is still unsigned for the upcoming season. If he wants to try signing with the Chiefs, he can’t be bringing a Kardashian, especially not that Kardashian, into Taylor’s territory.
That’s my conspiracy theory too. There are dozens of us! Dozens! And honestly, I’ll stand by it…
There was some chatter on NFL twitter/media (around the time the Daily Mail reported they’d broken up a month or so ago) that he and the Chiefs might have been circling each other, and OBJ was doing a lot of liking and commenting on Pat Mahomes’ posts, and other Chiefs-related stuff. It seemed to die down when they recruited another wide receiver with a cheaper price tag, then they scored another WR in the draft. We’re getting break-up news again now, according to my conspiracy brain because it looks like one of their other receivers is going to get suspended for half the season.
It looks to me too like Taylor’s lining up again to be #1 WAG – I can’t decide if it’s deeply amusing or such a flex that at the absolute peak of her commercial success, she’s not doing late night or Rolling Stone or the Met Gala, but is generating headlines for being a +1 at what looked exactly like every alternate drop chicken/beef fundraiser I’ve ever attended as a +1, except with more Superbowl winners.
All that aside, I have this incredibly enjoyable mental image of some Gen Z/Millennial in the Chiefs marketing or social media department getting wind of the boomer/Gen X dudes thinking about recruiting OBJ, and going ‘…do these guys just not know?…’ and then having to write a very serious, professional work email detailing all the Kanye-Kim-Taylor drama to escalate to their boss to raise with the Chiefs’ front office.
If Odell somehow went to the Chiefs, Kim would be exploding through walls like the Kool-Aid man just to get to him lol.
