Spoilers for Emily in Paris.
Emily in Paris is probably the dumbest show that I’m obsessed with? I honestly don’t binge-watch a lot of stuff these days, but EiP and Bridgerton are both right up there with “I need to see this ASAP.” Those shows are so low-stakes, and I find them so comforting. Anyway, Emily in Paris’s Season 3 ended on a big cliffhanger: Camille was a pregnant pseudo-runaway bride, breaking it off with Gabriel at the altar because she knows that he still has feelings for Emily, and because she (Cami) is in love with a woman. Camille basically blew up Emily’s relationship with Alfie, not to mention Alfie’s friendship with Gabriel. Emily is once again in the thick of French drama. Well, how will the show solve it? We’ll find out soon! Netflix just released the new trailer:
Netflix is doing this screwy thing where they’re breaking up a season into two parts. Part 1, the first five episodes, will premiere on August 15. Part 2 will premiere on September 12. I don’t know if this trailer if for the whole season, but they do give away a lot of plot points, I think? I mean, once again, this is so low-stakes, but it looks like Emily is trying to juggle both Gabriel and Alfie and then Cami makes another move on Gabriel? Is Cami the villain of the series? I sometimes think she is. Anyway, I will be watching. They also timed this to premiere right after the Paris Olympics! I imagine there will be a lot of Emily-in-Paris-themed Olympics ads.

Oh i cant wait to see this!!!! Was just in Paris but could only get to some places because as the Olympics near they are cordoning of more and more streets and bridges you need a pass to get to those play cordoned off. That is what we were told. It will be interesting to see if the do ads for it during the Olympics.
They basically cut the entire city into smaller pieces and are trying to tell us to stay where we are. Some of us can’t work from home or were able to get holidays so this is going to be a rough couple of weeks with literally no benefits because we can’t even go to the Olympics themselves because it’s expensive as hell. Lovely organisation from the city/country.
“Emily in Paris is probably the dumbest show that I’m obsessed with?”
Exactly how I feel………………mostly, for me, it’s because it’s filmed in Paris and around France. Love hanging out in one of my favorite cities and countries. Enjoy the soap opera drama too!
