Brad Pitt flew to Como, Italy to spend time with George & Amal Clooney

Last week, we talked about George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s GQ cover and dual interview. It was an exercise in arrogance, but it was also grotesquely fascinating from a white-bro-code perspective. The interview took place at the Chateau Miraval, the French estate which is owned by Brad and now Yuri Shefler, after Shefler bought Angelina Jolie’s 50% stake in the estate. Miraval is ground zero of a lot of different lawsuits, all of which would have created a rich backstory for a GQ profile. Instead, none of that was mentioned, as Brad and George performed their “friendship” and bro-code for an audience. Amal Clooney was even roped into the charade and we were supposed to think, “hey, Brad can’t be a bad guy if Amal and the Clooney kids like him!” Nevermind that Brad’s kids want nothing to do with him after he abused them and their mother. Well, George and Brad are promoting this stupid movie, Wolfs, and the world premiere will happen at the Venice Film Festival. Which isn’t far from Como, Italy, where the Clooneys have a home. Guess who flew out for a relaxing pre-festival vacation in Como?

As Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s teen daughter Shiloh Jolie officially dropped her dad’s famous last name Monday, Pitt was spotted over the weekend headed to hang with his Hollywood BFF George Clooney, we hear.

Spies told Page Six they saw Pitt arriving via private jet in Milan — and that the “Fight Club” star was overheard telling a private greeter at Linate Airport that he was “headed to Lake Como to visit Clooney and his wife, Amal,” according to our source.

The insider added that the star was solo without gal pal Ines de Ramon, and that, Pitt, 60, “wore a beige bucket hat, aviator glasses, a navy, casual jacket and blue jeans and sneakers.”

The star allegedly was flanked by “a team of security guards” as he “rushed through passport control and practically jogged past bystanders who had gathered to see him.”

“One of the guards approached several groups of people hanging out, and said, ‘Are you all supposed to be here?’ ” we hear, as “Pitt ran by and into a waiting Range Rover.”

A black Mercedes wagon apparently followed and “in mere minutes he came and went,” said the spy.

“Brad Pitt’s a ghost!” quipped the impressed jet-setter who’d landed on a private flight ahead of the star.

But I thought Brad cared about his kids? Pax was hospitalized for complex trauma, Shiloh just dropped his name and Zahara’s heading back to college. Surely Brad should stick around LA for his kids, right? Oh, I guess not. The funniest part, to me, about George Clooney doing the most to rehabilitate Brad’s image is that George’s image is in the toilet right now too. I don’t think he even realizes that. His New York Times op-ed about President Biden was really f–ked up, to the point where I think a lot of people put him on their permanent sh-tlists. It’s always two dumb bitches telling each other exactlyyyy.

  1. Who cares about this loser visiting his loser friend. I’m surprised that Amal would be ok with this loser who doesn’t give two f**ks about his own children.

    • Eva says:

Amal will do what is necessary to improve her husband’s image. Too bad she does it at the same time as improving the image of a guy who still hurts his ex-wife and her children. But it’s hollywood, so… whatever…

  2. wolfmamma says:

Well I disagree with all the hate.

I don’t know the whole story – do you really?

Doesn’t help anyone in the group of folks being discussed or the world we’re all a part of.

    • What I do know is what was reported as a domestic violence incident and that alone deserves the hate he is getting.

    • Aurora says:

      “the whole story”

I know Brad poured alcohol on the heads of his crying children after he physically assaulted their mother and older brother. That was stated clearly in a sworn deposition.

Personally, I don’t need to know more than that to write him off as an abuser. I would never befriend someone who did that. Ever. I guess George and Amal have lower standards.

    • Erica says:

Yes, because there’s always an excuse behind abuse. You’re a free R Kelly, Harvey Weinstein wasn’t that bad just misunderstood, Diddy innocent type of person aren’t you?

What doesn’t help anymore in the world is abuse. apologies like you.

Yes, we know the F.B.I. report and the other non-family witnesses that were on the plane and called the incident in backed up her statement of what happened. Also that the F.B.I thought charges should have been filed.

    • Dorianne says:

I see someone needs some schooling. After the incident on the plane, Jolie took the children to a hotel. Five days later Pitt was served with divorce papers. Unbeknownst to Pitt or Jolie, a flight crew member appalled at what they had witnessed, filed an unruly passenger report with the FAA. The FAA dispatched the FBI to investigate. At this same time, the DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) began their own investigation. The FBI decided there was enough evidence to charge. But the U.S. attorney in the Los Angeles office declined to charge, stating that it was agreed by everyone involved not to pursue charges. Interesting considering the FBI then conducted an internal review and determined that Jolie and the kids had been deprived of their victims’ rights. Meanwhile DCFS passed their finished report to the court. Based on that report, which the court sealed, the judge ordered Pitt to detox/ rehab. Therapy, both individual and group was ordered. Pitt had to provide regular urine samples. Lastly, Pitt would only see the children with a therapist present. Jolie and Pitt were given 50/50 custody, meaning Pitt would be kept apprised of the minor children’s schooling, activities and health. But Jolie would have SOLE physical custody. The court even granted Jolie permission to take the children with her out of the state/country. Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk share a child. When Shayk leaves the country for work, the child stays with Cooper. Not so with Pitt. The children do not stay with him. And the judge’s ruling has never been challenged by Pitt’s attorneys. They have never asked for an amendment to the original custody decision. From these court rulings, alone, we know plenty.

If you don’t believe her, believe the pilot and the air stewards

  3. María from Tercer Mundo says:

wait! he cries in TMZ, people, us, etc about the minimum contact with the 2 youngest and he skipped the visits? how long he is not even in touch with them.
    pretend to be shocked

    • Eva says:

These kids don’t want to have contact with him, so if you think about it, he doesn’t skipped anything out.

  4. FIFI says:

lol is this not fan fiction with the exaggerated qoutes? Nice distraction from Shiloh dropping his name though

““Brad Pitt’s a ghost!” quipped the impressed jet-setter who’d landed on a private flight ahead of the star.”

    • Oakley says:

The whole pagesix article is very contrived and awkward. I get his PR wanted to make his sighting seemingly spontaneous by a random bystander, but it only reveals that it was leaked by his PR source.

  5. JEM says:

I despise that domestic violence perpetrator and child abuser. It’s sick how this all gets overlooked by the press and Hollywood. Also he’s 60 and wears bucket hats. Loser.

    • Golly Gee says:

Yeah, the bucket hat. He is so cringe. Crimes against fashion to add to the list. He’s probably one of these dudes who awkwardly spouts whatever current slang is used by the youths to show how hip he is.

  6. Jasper says:

The Clooneys have really disappointed me. I didn’t even have them on a pedestal, I just expected better.

  7. Jais says:

    Gross people.
