It’s sort of gone under the radar, but Emma Stone has become a producer with a very good track record. She executive-produced Cruella (which I loved) and The Curse, and served as a producer on Poor Things (which won her a second Best Actress Oscar) and A Real Pain, which she’s currently promoting. She also has several other producing credits. Over the weekend, Emma attended the NYFF premiere of A Real Pain, which stars Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin. Eisenberg wrote, directed and produced it.

For the premiere, Emma wore a Louis Vuitton look, fresh off the Paris Fashion Week runway. It’s a sort of breezy, boho dress with a sheer skirt and a chevron pattern. From the waist up, I like it. I don’t care for LV’s current “sheer skirt” trend though – they’re desperately trying to make that happen.

Meanwhile, this behind-the-scenes video from NYFF is making the rounds. Emma greets Keiran Culkin’s wife Jazz Charton with a sweet hug, and then Emma stops and seemingly adjusts her hair. This has led to speculation that Emma wore a wig to this premiere, and someone sort of put it together that Emma possibly shaved her head recently? She’s working on Yorgos Lanthimos’s latest film, Bugonia, where she’s playing a possible alien?? Long story short, she probably did shave her head and this probably is a wig. Now I’m looking at her hair so closely…
