Timothee Chalamet & Kylie Jenner ate meatballs on a special NYC date night

In the past month, Timothee Chalamet has been filming Marty Supreme all over New York. During that same time, Kylie Jenner went to Paris Fashion Week, and she’s presumably been flying between LA and NYC. Something I didn’t realize until I read her recent British Vogue cover profile is that Kylie is able to move around pretty quietly in NYC and people have no idea how much time she spends in the city, mostly visiting New York-based Timothee, her boyfriend of a year and a half. Well, long story short, Timothee and Kylie were recently spotted having a date night and People had an exclusive about what they ordered.

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet’s relationship is only getting stronger! The couple were spotted having an intimate dinner date at Little Charli’s restaurant in New York City on Oct. 12, and according to an insider, Jenner and Chalamet showed off plenty of sweet PDA as they enjoyed some Italian food together.

“Kylie and Timothée were very cuddly and very cute,” the source tells PEOPLE exclusively. “They looked very much in love.” As for what the pair chose off the menu: “They ordered standard meatballs.”

Deuxmoi was first to report on their low-key date night, during which the makeup mogul and actor were sitting across from one another as they chatted at the restaurant, according to a photo. Chalamet, who is in Manhattan filming the movie Marty Supreme, sported a casual hoodie while Jenner wore a simple white tee and black pants.

Another clip was also posted by 21 Met Gala on X (formerly Twitter) showing the two leaning toward each other in deep conversation.

Earlier in October, a source told PEOPLE that Jenner and Chalamet are “just a great couple” and “everyone loves them together. He’s close with her family and she’s close with his family,” the insider continued. “It’s very serious, but also a fun relationship. They’ve really been able to figure out a good balance between working and spending quality time together.”

It feels like it happened forever ago, but it was actually a big deal that Kylie was Timothee’s date to this year’s Golden Globes. She was low-key about it (she didn’t walk the carpet) but the cameras stayed on them throughout the evening. They looked like a real couple. So… I know there are conspiracies about Kylothee and their relationship, but I think they’re real and they actually care about each other a lot. It surprises me too, but I think Kylie genuinely enjoys being with someone like Timothee, and she enjoys the fact that she can still move quietly in and around their relationship. Also: MEATBALLS! Can you imagine watching a dirt-lipped Timothee eat meatballs and still wanting to bang him? Kylie is in love.

Kylie and Timmy may want to keep their relationship as private as possible, but wondering how Kris Jenner feels? I think she is the one always going to the press to give an update on their relationship. I mean Kim is not dating anyone, Khloe is not dating anyone, Kendall is dating Devin Booker again, Kourtney is married to Travis Barker. What is the premise of their show now? Kylie can get in and out of NY because she has her own private jet.

I think Chalamet is established enough that he is quite capable of nipping any proposed involvement on the show in the bud and I also think he is high-profile enough that Kris understands and will market it in other ways, lol.

I feel like the last time any of this family dated anyone as famous as Chalamet was Kim and Kanye? but Kanye didn’t have that “European art-house gloss” that Chalamet’s acting repertoire and heritage has.
