We haven’t talked that much about Queen Camilla in 2025. She’s been around, although she came into 2025 still nursing pneumonia, which started soon after Camilla and her husband returned from their trip to Australia, Samoa and India. Camilla was canceling appearances throughout December, and she’s been slowly getting back to work over the past month.
On Tuesday, Camilla hosted a large event at Buckingham Palace for her patronage, the National Theatre. This used to be the Duchess of Sussex’s patronage, but it was taken away from Meghan and given to Camilla (who had always coveted it). There were cast members from the play London Road, and they gave a performance at the palace. There were also people/celebrities associated with the National Theatre in various capacities. Camilla got face time with Lesley Manville (one of England’s finest actresses, imo), Cate Blanchett (who has long been a patron to many major theatres), Rory Kinnear, James Corden, Andrew Garfield, Sharon D. Clarke and more. Cate surprises me with how fully she’s gone all-in on the Windsors. She’s been cozying up to Prince William and Earthshot as well. Andrew Garfield’s presence is sort of shocking, but I guess he wanted to meet Camilla? They’re making a big deal about Corden too – “Harry’s friend” meeting Camilla.
In other horsey gossip, people were talking about Camilla and Charles’s Valentine’s Day for some reason – looks like William and Kate weren’t the only ones pushing some narratives about their marriage for V-Day. Apparently, Camilla and Charles hosted an intimate dinner for close friends on V-Day – the dinner was held at Windsor Castle, and C&C spent the whole weekend in Windsor. Which is also funny because Will and Kate allegedly live at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, and yet the Waleses were gone last weekend, already in Mustique.

So the side piece did her job as patron of the National Theater. Ok Peg this is how it’s done when you are the patron you show up!! Not just do a little thing before vacation but show up to its most important night.
Peg better watch out. Camilla might want the BAFTAs
I don’t credit the side piece with much (other than wrecking families) but she would show up on it’s important night.
Note to self: Wearing a broad brimmed hat can be a really effective way to keep noxious people at a distance! lol
Yes, it worked for Melania at the latest Inaugural.
The royals really love to be surrounded by celebrities, especially Camilla and Charles. But hey at least Camilla showed up. I’m betting she was really not happy when Meghan was made patron by the queen instead of her. But I guess she got it in the end.
Her friends in the British press said that she was upset that the Queen gave the patronage to Meghan.
All of these people are pathetic caping for this vile, racist “woman”.
Sad when the 70 year olds outperform the younger heir. William is pathetic. Ties with Edward III and Prinny as worst Prince of Wales ever.
