Demi Moore is ‘easing up on the nip/tucks’ & dissolving her cheek fillers

Demi Moore is 62 years old and she has really been enjoying her first awards season as a first-time Oscar nominee. She’s picked up several big awards, including the Critics Choice and Golden Globe. She’s been showcasing her access to tons of designers, and she looks amazing, honestly. Of course, I’ve also noticed – as have other people – that Demi has had a lot of “maintenance” cosmetic work over the years. It reminds me of Courteney Cox, who went overboard with Botox and fillers for years, and then slowly began dissolving some of it and going for a more natural look. Is that what Demi is doing? I don’t know. But Life & Style’s plastic surgery experts have some thoughts:

Demi Moore is no stranger to cosmetic surgery touch ups here and there, but a source exclusively tells Life & Style she’s recently been feeling the changes go a bit too far and is dissolving some of her fillers, which has people around her breathing a collective sigh of relief.

“Demi is drawing attention, because she’s clearly had some things removed,” the insider says. “She’s easing up on the nip/tucks, her cheeks look more natural, so she may have had her cheek filler dissolved.”

Demi, 62, stunned with a much more natural look while walking the Golden Globes’ red carpet on January 5. The Substance star’s youthful glow stood in stark contrast to her “unrecognizable” look on the Fendi runway in 2021, when she was 58. Though she has occasionally chimed in to deny plastic surgery rumors over the years, notably in 2007 after fans pointed out a difference in her breasts and nose, her appearance at the fashion show was dramatically different than pre-COVID. Her cheeks appeared gaunt and her mouth tight, but ballooning in an uncanny way, which can be indicative of having work done.

“There might be some left, but it’s not as obvious as before,” the insider says. “There are other telltale signs she’s relaxing on the fillers and Botox.”

The Ghost actress is rumored to have dropped an estimated $300,000 total on cosmetic surgery over the years. Dr Mark Solomos, of Channel 4’s 10 Years Younger who has not treated Demi, told Hello! Magazine that he does credit her “incredible bone structure” with much of her youthful appearance, but she likely began having small intervention treatments decades ago to maintain a 30-or-so year old skin tightness. The doctor assessed she may have undergone a lip lift, a surgery that reduces the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip that can make the patient appear younger by flattening out some smile lines, in addition to a face and neck lift or laser resurfacing surgery — a newer treatment that burns away the first layer of skin, which allows fresh, youthful skin cells to grow underneath.

I remember those photos from 2021 – it looked like Demi had that “ribbon lift” facelift which Madonna had back in the day. It was not great. It wasn’t just Botox and fillers either. So, I know I just said that I have no idea what Demi is doing at this point, but I have a new theory – I think she got that new high-quality facelift that Lindsay Lohan got. It’s super-exclusive and the idea is that you’re supposed to look as natural as possible (just younger) but they’re basically working on every part of your face rather than just pulling everything back. I say that because I don’t think Demi’s look has been achieved by simply “dissolving fillers.”

I don’t know who coined the phrase about a woman reaching a certain age and having to choose between her ass and her face… but I am in that phase and it is spot on.

Demi is a beautiful woman – ten pounds would add everything to her face the fillers and Botox do without the pinched and sinewy look.

that black dress is doing her girls no favors, but she looks amazing.

  2. Smart&Messy says:

Is the facelift the reason why she can’t seem to close her lips properly? Or is that an overdone liplift?

    • Roo says:

Maybe veneers that are too big?

    • WaterDragon says:

If I were her, I would spend some $$ on getting my ears pinned back.

    • Arizona says:

she’s got that cat look that so many get when they do too much work on their face. I don’t think she did the Lohan/Aguilera facelift because her face is still pretty distracting with the work that she’s had done IMO.

Does it have to be just one? Demi’s had so much work done in the past 5 years, she can’t move her face naturally or correctly. It’s Uncanny Valley levels of creep.

It’s gotten to the point where I get angry when people fawn over how great she looks. This should not be normalized, never mind celebrated.

I say this as a woman who loves her baby Botox and understands how hard it can feel to age.

Kaiser, I first read about the deep-plane face lift years ago (credited to an NYC plastic surgeon in the articles I read). I was fascinated by the results, which looked very natural. I think the costs ran to $100k at the time.

I have always wondered why the big stars and other wealthy people who want to look younger just don’t get deep-plane face lifts. The results are more effective and natural than anything else.

(Also, I’m just fascinated by plastic surgery before and after photos for some reason, while having neither the budget nor the courage to undergo such surgery myself. 😆).

When I saw Demi Moore in Landman I hardly recognized her. She definitely looked like she’d had some work done in that.

It’s weird that some older actresses want to be super skinny and then they have their faces ballooned up with filler. Just reminds me of a balloon on a string. I’m almost 60 and it’s good to have a few extra pounds on your frame. I know these actresses face enormous pressure to look a certain way, but when they are playing regular folks on screen, why do they need to be so thin. Why do studio heads (men) insist on this?

If you want to listen to a top Hollywood facial plastic surgeon talk about the differences in facelift technology, fillers and implants through the years – I highly recommend checking out the Monét Talks episode with Dr. davis:

It’s crazy to me that the very movie role she is nominated for is that of an aging actress who goes too far to look younger. Am I the only one who sees the irony in that?

It truly seems like Moore herself didn’t even get the point of the movie.

    • Bree says:

For real! When I first saw the trailer, I thought it was irony…and that she was in on the joke. Doesn’t seem like it? and not sure why so few are talking about it!

  8. Monc says:

She would look great with a little extra weight and maybe trim her hair a bit../

  9. Polly says:

None of it looks right. It all looks like “work” and I can’t wait until it gets good enough to not be distracting.
