Royalist: Jason Knauf’s interview was timed specifically ahead of ‘With Love, Meghan’

I’m not surprised that Jason Knauf’s 60 Minutes Australia interview is getting so much attention. In fact, I thought it was weird that the teaser for the interview got so little attention when it dropped on Friday. This was Knauf’s first on-camera interview ever (I think?) and he spoke on the record about Prince William, Kate, Prince Harry and Meghan. Knauf is technically not working for the monarchy or heir at this point, although he’s still involved (in some way) with Earthshot. Plus, it definitely seems like he’s an informal advisor to William and that they’re still quite close. Close enough for people to point out Knauf’s very obvious timing. Even the Daily Beast’s Royalist pointed out that Knauf’s interview makes it look like Prince William is obsessively following everything the Duchess of Sussex does.

Damaging allegations that Meghan Markle was a workplace bully have been revived by an unprecedented TV interview by key Prince William loyalist Jason Knauf, just a week before Meghan’s new show is due to drop on Netflix. The intervention risks being seen as a calculated attempt by a royal family loyalist to damage Meghan’s reinvention as a warm-hearted, jam-making, bee-keeping homemaker.

It will confound Pollyannas who have expressed the hope that William wishes his sister-in-law success in her new career, and serve instead to reinforce the perception that the Sussexes and the Windsors are locked in an intractable feud. Knauf is a former key palace aide, who first worked for Kate, William and Harry, and then for Meghan and Harry, as communications secretary. However, he subsequently turned into one of Meghan’s most powerful and implacable enemies.
He betrayed Meghan and accused her of bullying and turned on her in a court case she brought (and won) against the Daily Mail. Meghan denied the bullying allegations.

He is openly aligned with the Waleses, having remained a close friend of Prince William. He is a trustee of William’s Earthshot Foundation and was knighted in 2023. He has now given an extraordinary interview to 60 Minutes Australia in which he suggested he stood by the allegations he made against Meghan.

The timing of the interview just a week before her new show, With Love, Meghan, drops recalls, for some, the timing of the publication of Knauf’s last intervention on the matter of Meghan’s management style. In 2021, just days before Meghan’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey was due to screen, an email sent by Knauf in 2018, accusing Meghan of having bullied two personal assistants out of their jobs, was published by the London Times. The leak was widely seen as a pre-emptive strike aimed at tarnishing Meghan’s credibility ahead of the Oprah interview.

Asked about that time in the sit-down with 60 Minutes Australia, Knauf, a New Zealander by birth, said he had “no regrets” and added: “I wouldn’t change a thing.”

While he sought to ostensibly couch his response as a generalized one, Knauf, a seasoned PR and reputation management expert, is unlikely not to have considered that his remarks would be construed as doubling down on his 2018 assessment that Meghan was a manipulative bully.

It is also inconceivable that he wouldn’t have sought William’s permission to give the interview, given that he remains a close friend of William, as the documentary makes clear. They are so close that, as Knauf says, William called him privately to tell him about Kate’s cancer diagnosis.

[From The Daily Beast]

While the 60 Minutes Australia segment featured information about Knauf’s letter to Simon Case – the letter in which Knauf accused Meghan of bullying two personal assistants out of the job – they used a voiceover to recite the letter and Knauf was not asked about the letter directly, nor was he asked anything about “the bullying accusations” specifically. He was asked how the whole thing made him feel, basically. Anyway, I think it’s interesting that the Royalist’s peggy sources have seemingly dried up and now Tom Sykes is saying this sh-t outright, that Knauf’s interview was specifically timed to f–k with Meghan’s Netflix show, and that this was yet another Kensington Palace operation. Maybe some of the Royalist’s “sources” can tell William that it’s pathetic to still be so obsessed with his sister-in-law.

“a calculated attempt by a royal family loyalist to damage Meghan’s reinvention as a warm-hearted, jam-making, bee-keeping homemaker.”

Please say that *calculated attempt* part again, a little louder this time, for the Derangedeers in the back.

These people, gold-plated advisers etc, really, obviously want to make their employers look bad, right?

Why don’t they just ignore the Sussexes instead of damaging their own brand this way.

Unforced error, own goal, whatever applies here.

    • Meredith says:

Both parts of that sentence read as sneering to me— criticism of both the calculating Wills and the reinventing as a trad wife Meghan. The author seems to disrespect all of them equally.

      • Becks1 says:

He does. Sykes has never been a Meghan fan so I expect his sneering. And he has been shady for years towards William and Kate, even while seeming to support them – I don’t think he’s a fan of any of them to be honest.

That said, something in his coverage has shifted in recent months, where his anti-William shadiness is becoming more…..slight critical. He’s still not openly critical, but he’s starting to say the quiet part out loud more and more – like here, where he’s saying that this interview is designed to hurt Meghan and was done with William’s permission.

      • jais says:

Agree, He’s an equal-opportunities hater. and yes he is slightly more critical but so is the rest of the rota. Veery slightly. It’ll be interesting to see how the rest of the year shapes up. Honestly, William hanging out with Trump is embarrassing bc he looks like a lap dog but the rota looove it for clicks so he should be hoping for an invite. Otherwise, he needs to do some trips or something to appease the tabs. Sending “poor Jason” out to do a trashy Australian interview is weak sauce and not gonna feed the beast.

    • Slippers4life says:

Also note the subtle micro aggression in “reinventing herself as a warm hearted jam making bee keeping homemaker.” They do this to paint a narrative that women and especially Black women can’t be both kind hearted and assertive. This way, when Meghan asserts herself or acts like the savvy business boss she is, they can point and go “see, she IS a bully” later. Jason Knauf is scum, but I make no mistake that even critical articles of him, still want the public to have limiting beliefs about her and women in general.

    • Swaz says:

Tomorrow this will be yesterday’s news 📰 FAKE INTERVIEW ORCHESTRATED BY THE WINDORS 👑👑. TEAM SUSSEX 😍 I can’t even remember what was written about Meghan yesterday 😀

      • L4Frimaire says:

Meghan wearing her Northwestern sweatshirt got more traction and made more news than this piece. Also this is Australian television. Its a non-factor for those of us on the other side of the equator.

  2. Breaking News: Peg wants to cause Meg problems!!! No kidding this was timed for Meg’s new show to start. They did all those photo ops for the original start date but she postponed due to the wildfires so they came up with this bullshit interview with their bought and paid for sleaze bag. They are too lazy after their vacation to get out there themselves and TRY to steal her thunder. Jealous fools.

    • Hypocrisy says:

Wonder if they have finally had it with WanK and their playbook..I guess only time will tell and until then at least they are pointing out the obvious that most of us knew long ago. KP and Wank in particular are looking pretty pathetic and beyond pathologically obsessed.

  3. PEARL GREY says:

I’m glad William’s Man Friday Jason is running his mouth on televised interviews and I hope William’s other Man Fridays join in too. Let them all keep talking, because it will come back to bite them all. And the footage will remain forever, even if they try to X it like Diana’s Panorama interview. Nothing they say will stop Meghan and Harry’s success, it will only help lead to William and his work wife’s undoing.

    • Jais says:

William’s Man Friday, lol. It’s fascinating that William personally called Jason to let him know about his wife and dad’s health problems. Clearly they’re still close. Backstabbing snakes that scheme together stay together? And yet that hasn’t necessarily been the case for William and Kate.

  4. Betsy says:

All I can see with respect to William, and william sending out his flying monkeys, is that William has inappropriate feelings for his sister in law. It was reported that he and Kate used to watch Suits together and that William had a crush on Meghan back then. Given the clues that we have about William’s poor mental health and what we know about his bad relationship with his little brother, I think it’s obvious that a huge portion of William’s anger toward Meghan is a weird ball of gross feelings perverted by the fact that Harry and Meghan love each other and William can’t have what (who) William wants.

    Enter Knauf, the flying monkey.

  5. Nicole says:

On the real question: William clearly cannot let it go. Do you think he might just be a little obsessed and low key in love with Meghan. And cannot stand that she’s in love with his brother and clearly has no time for him. Cus at this point 2020 Meg and Harry have been together for a long time. Considering courtship, marriage, 2 children, and a whole ass continent away from you, she clearly is unbothered.

    • MrsBanjo says:

In love? No. In lust, obsessed, and believes he’s entitled to her because he’s that kind of asshole and was a fan of suits before Harry met her? Yes. Harry talked about William and Kate watching the show and there are numerous photos of William being creepy around Meghan.

He’s a disgusting entitled prick. Love is nowhere to be seen here.

    • Jais says:

I think it’s more about control and ego. It’s pretty clear he’s used to getting what he wants and people around him having to follow what he says. And Meghan didn’t. He couldn’t control her and she wasn’t impressed by him which must have hurt his ego. That’s what he can’t get over imo.

      • Tina says:

Spare made it pretty clear that William has always been in a one sided competition with Harry. William clearly wanted Harry to not marry. I couldn’t get over the part where he told Harry that marriage for him might not happen. Like what??? Then Harry shows up with the hot, smart and charismatic lady from suits? William has never recovered.

      • Becks1 says:

Yeah, I have no idea if william is attracted to Meghan or not. That could be a part of this, for sure. But I think when people assume that’s ALL that’s going on here, they’re overlooking William’s history in general – his control and ego like @jais said, and the fact that he did not seem to want Harry to marry…..anyone.

I also think it was a big problem for William that Meghan didn’t bend the knee/kiss the ring etc. I’m sure she was polite and nice to William, but she didn’t give him deference because he was (then) the future future king. I just don’t think that mattered to her. She judges people by who they are, not what they are. It’s why she asked if Harry was nice/kind when she was being set up with him, because it wasnt going to go anywhere if he wasn’t.

Can you imagine William’s rage when M told him to take his finger out of her face?

      • CherryBerry says:

This is it. It’s about control and ego. In Harry’s Spare it was obvious William wanted control over Harry’s life and decisions. He also always wanted Harry to have ‘less’ than him. He didn’t want Harry to marry in a grand church like him, he kept suggesting the small, rinky-dink little churches, he had a roaring fit over the beard he himself couldn’t have. And I forget what Harry went to Queen Elizabeth for permission for, but William was also mad about that because Harry didn’t ask HIM instead. This is about control and a years long tantrum because he lost control over Harry. In Spare it seemed William was still trying to gaslight Harry at Prince Phillip’s funeral where he was grabbing his shirt and forcing Harry to look at him and he was swearing on Diana’s life that he just wanted him to be happy. But by then Harry just didn’t trust William. I feel in the past Harry would probably mostly succumb to William’s smaller tantrums, but not about this, not about his marriage, and this enraged William and he blames Meghan for taking Harry ‘away’. She took his scapegoat and his workhorse away, and I also think he was his sounding board whenever he was stressed and needed to vent, after all Harry is the only other person who knows what it’s like to have lived their life and gone through what they have. So I think he blames Meghan for that and everything that has gone wrong and is currently going wrong. The Oprah interview, the book, and everything after that is all her fault and influence, because he’s certainly not going to blame himself.

      • windyriver says:

@CherryBerry – well said, especially the part about Harry being Will’s scapegoat and workhorse, but conversely also his sounding board, the only person who can understand all he’s been through, because he shared it. Yes, Meghan interfered with his control over Harry; in the similar way she’s blamed by Harry’s former friends for how he’s “changed”. Imagine how satisfying it would be to Will to know in the short term he, not Harry, was the one who’d be independently wealthy (POW/Cornwall), and eventually he’d have ultimate financial control over his brother.

But I also agree with the idea Will was attracted to Meghan pre-Harry, after watching Suits (and Kate knew it, hence one reason for her antipathy to Meghan from the very start), and his ego couldn’t handle not being able to interfere with her relationship with Harry, and pull her in his direction.

Finally, I think Will’s been going through a mid-life crisis. Here he is, early 40’s, with nothing to show in the way of concrete accomplishments. His only selling point is his status as future king. And the one person who’s always mattered the most to him (positively or negatively), who craved his attention as an 8 year old starting a new school, and later at Eton, now has a life so fulfilling, he could care less about anything Will has or will have. It’s obviously someone else’s fault, because it couldn’t be anything Will himself did, so it must be the person who changed Harry’s life.

      • CherryBerry says:

Thank you Windyriver! The part about William having complete financial control over Harry is terrifying. He would have certainly used that to not only control him, but his whole family.
Maybe you’re right about an attraction being the part of the reason for the obsession, Idk, I’m just not sold on that part. To me it seems more geared on hatred for her being the reason that Harry left and him “changing”.
William’s the right age for a midlife crisis, you’re right about him not having any accomplishments while his brother is so flawlessly knocking everything out of the park.

    • William is basically the Claude Frollo to Meghan’s Esmerelda.

    • Where'sMyTiara says:

Huevo’s attitude towards Meghan is very similar to Piss Moron’s attitude towards Meghan.

Sexual obsession, coupled with the white supremacist urge to ‘put her in her place’.

The last five years of public media abuse is Egghead’s pathetic revenge plot, all because she fell for Harry and not TOB.

  6. LolaB says:

Why are there no orthodontists in the UK

  7. Jais says:

Wait who are the Pollyannas out there that have expressed hope that William wishes Meghan well. Are there people out there who really think that?

  8. Noor says:

Jason and his boss tried the bullying stunt once before the Oprah interview and to repeat it now before Meghan’s cooking show is just insane and reckless .

    • kelleybelle says:

The woman left the UK years ago; I don’t understand the motivation. It’s plain sick.

      • MY3CENTS says:

        Right?
At this point the people who love Meghan will continue to and the people that don’t won’t. Nobody is going to switch sides or have a change of feelings because of this lame ass interview.
        Just let them go.

      • booboocita says:

@MY3CENTS: Exactly. At this point, the best for which anyone can hope is that the Meghan-hating lunatics find another focus for their insanity (although I wouldn’t wish the derangers on anyone) and their Meghan-hate turns into indifference. It certainly won’t turn into love; they don’t have any.

    • Meredith says:

What do you mean by insane and reckless? Obviously there are people who will eat it up like it’s a balm for their shriveled racist souls— and other people who will roll their eyes and think even less of William— but this all seems merely petty to me.

    • Jay says:

Well, they do say that the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same actions and expecting different results. I’m surprised that the palace is still running this same “Meghan the Bully” playbook, too, especially with a slime ball like Knauf as the face. But maybe there wasn’t anybody else available?

  9. Libra says:

I’ve said this before and I’m saying it again, that William did something inappropriate to Meghan, she rebuffed his advances and that is why William was scared of what HArry had written in Spare. That episode is documented in the written but unpublished reject from the Spare editor as being too damaging. My opinion.

    • kelleybelle says:

Harry straight-out said that if he had published the remaining 400 pages of Spare that Pa and Willy wouldn’t never forgive him. There’s some serious dirt in there, believe it.

    • Tina says:

Absolutely. Whatever William did behind the scenes to Meghan was so bad that Harry is done with him and William was freaking out before both the Oprah interview and Spare.

    • Jaded says:

I totally agree. William is f*cking lucky the Sussexes haven’t brought this to light. You’d think the fact that they’ve held back stating the obvious would make William less of a foe to his brother and SIL, but the very idea that they’re holding this sword of Damocles over his head is eating him alive and his attack dog Knauf will continue to do his bidding in order to keep smearing the Sussexes. William’s animosity towards Meghan is actually scary, he really is obsessed with her — first it was a sexual obsession and his out-of-control ego made him think she’d welcome his advances and put a wedge between her and Harry that would derail the relationship. But when she put him firmly in his place his obsession turned to ruining her and has only grown worse and worse over the years as the Sussexes have had success after success. William really is a sick f*ck and so is his stick figure wife.

      • one of the marys says:

And the tabloids like to refer to a feud but the Sussexes never talk about the royals. This strategy of blanking them must be killing the royals. And as someone posted earlier, the royals keep scoring own goals. They should learn to shut up

  10. Steph says:

Ugh. Jason was born in Texas. And he at some point moved to Virginia. He’s in no way a native to anything to do with the monarchy. I said this on the last post about him: how can anyone take his word with this amount of lying? Lies that are so easily proven? That’s why his accent is so fing strange. It’s fake. Probably how Kate learned it.

That being said, this is more poking at Pegs in a week than there has been in years.

    • antipodean says:

If I remember correctly, and I think it is mentioned in the article, Jason Knauf was actually born in New Zealand, as was Dan Wootton. Needless to say, neither of them are proudly claimed, or acknowledged, by most educated Kiwis. Knauf’s strange accent is probably along the lines of Kate’s acquired “put on” garbled mumblese! Well observed, @Steph.

      • Jaded says:

He actually was born in Texas, raised in Virginia and attended uni in Pittsburgh. After that he moved to New Zealand to study at the Victoria University of Wellington, and worked there for some years before moving to London to take on the communications secretary job for the Wails and Harry in 2015. And the rest, as they say, is history.

      • Steph says:

@antipodean the article saying that he was born in NZ is the lie I was talking about. @jaded is correct with his upbringing.

    • Nic919 says:

The article also says he was knighted and he wasn’t. He can’t if he’s American. He got a Royal Victorian order just under the rank kate got.

The New Zealand stuff might be to link him indirectly to Wootton.

      • Blujfly says:

He didn’t move to London to work for the royals. He was in London before that; his first claim to fame was as the lying spin doctor for Royal Bank of Scotland as it shockingly collapsed. The media brought it up incessantly when William hired him. It was considered a surprising appointment.

  11. Lala11_7 says:

The fact that these folks cannot SEE how pathetic they are is one of the symptoms of White Supremacy.

  12. windyriver says:

“…it definitely seems like he’s an informal advisor to William and that they’re still quite close.”

That’s my biggest takeaway from JK’s reappearance. He’s on the board of trustees for Earthsh!t, but a trustee position doesn’t always take up much time, or involve a lot of close contact with other parts of the organization. A trustee position could have just been another reward given as JK walked out the door. But this confirms he and Will are still in close contact, as many here always suspected.

KP must really think this interview is going to have an effect on Meghan’s career – it won’t. The woman wore a skinny bracelet you could barely see on her arm and it sold out immediately, and that’s following weeks of critical, demeaning articles about her in the media. And/or, they think it’ll make a difference in how Will and Kate are perceived – likewise, no. The BAFTA royal patron just blew off the organization’s signature event to go on an early vacation, and poor sick Kate, who can only do her job on the few occasions she’s likely to have a good day, and can’t handle royal tours, was out of the country to ski, and just returned from her second vacation in two months. Personally, I think it was a tactical error to confirm JK’s continued presence behind the scenes, but now we know for sure there’s another reason so much slime is still coming from Will’s general direction.

  13. Eurydice says:

Wait, what?!! Has Sykes hit his head and forgotten he hates Meghan? So, basically:

Knauf’s current interview ahead of her show was calculated to damage Meghan.
    Knauf was Meghan’s implacable enemy.
Knauf betrayed Meghan and turned against her in a case that she eventually won.
Knauf orchestrated the leak right before Meghan’s Oprah interview.
William is behind everything Knauf has done.

  14. Noor says:

Extraordinary article from Tom Skyes. Facts clearly spelled out and does not look good for Jason and William.

1.Tom Skyes has called out Jason Knauf as ” one of Meghan’s most powerful and implacable enemies.”

    2. Tom stated that Jason ” betrayed Meghan and accused her of bullying and turned on her in a court case she brought (and won) against the Daily Mail.”

    3. It is also “inconceivable that Jason wouldn’t have sought William’s permission to give the interview”.

  15. s808 says:

We’re on year what? 7 or 8 of KP (William) being weird and obsessed with Meghan. They’re running out of ideas too cause I’m unsure how this 60 Minutes Australia interview is supposed to do anything to derail Meghan’s show.

  16. Me at home says:

The cancer call from William to Jason suggests more than them still being bffs. Possibly William was seeking Jason’s professional advice on whether/how to inform the public about Kate’s cancer. Yet Jason has enough distance from William these days that Jason can put this Meghan cr@p out there without KP’s fingerprints being all over it. As has been said here before, Jason is William’s professional hired gun.

    • Nerd says:

I would say that this interview has the opposite affect of putting enough distance between Jason, KP and William. This shows that regardless of where Jason is he is allowed to suddenly come out with the same claims with no proof or details whenever William wants and needs him to. No one knew who Jason was outside of his connection to William regarding betraying Meghan by breaking an NDA multiple times to make William look good.

      • Lady Digby says:

Exactly JK does Will ‘s dirty work for him. JK was the enemy within undermining and damaging Meghan with Will’ s approval and encouragement. He is unrepentant at the damage he caused over a long period of time because it was at the behest of FK. JK and Will are a double act but if he’d have come unstuck in the MoS trial that didn’t happen, he would have been disavowed by FK as aide gone rogue!

      • Me at home says:

I’m thinking William and JK saw this as a once-and-done (at least until next year) action that backfired. Seen as necessary because William’s own PR was going particularly sideways, what with Invictus and Meg’s show contrasting with William and Kate skipping BAFTAs for Mustique. They probably told themselves, hey, JK talking to an Australian outlet won’t look suspicious but will gain traction, right? Too much hubris to realize that we’re all capable of connecting the dots.

      • jais says:

Yeah, I don’t think the interview shows distance between the two, but I think that’s a good guess that William was reaching out to Jason about what to do as he was in the midst of a pr crisis. It would suggest he wasn’t in contact or listening to his current advisors and was seeking out his old partner in crime for advice. But apparently he didn’t want advice on his beard lol.

  17. Loretta says:

But is this interview really getting so much attention? The Meghan IG video is a much bigger story.

  18. Nerd says:

This is only confirming to me that William was okay since day one with the racist, sexist, misogynistic, xenophobic and hateful attacks directed towards Meghan and Doria from the leaks coming from his own staff. Unlike the bullying claims that Knauf still hasn’t given any credible details or evidence of, we saw with our own eyes the nicknames and bullying coming from William’s staff. Knauf’s own testimony in Meghan’s court case proved that he was a liar who was willing to rewrite the truth to fit William and the media’s lying narrative.

    • Blujfly says:

He wasn’t just okay with it – he directed it. The royal reporters have said again and again that people that speak for William like this do so with full permission. William directed it. He was jealous of Harry and paranoid about an outsider.

  19. HillaryIsAlwaysRight says:

    March 2024:
    (Phone rings)
    Knauf: Hello?
Pegs: Jason, it’s Pegs. Cate has cancer. What do I do now?
Knauf: Well, you definitely can’t start divorce proceedings this year, your highness. Grow a beard and look concerned. Be more careful with the side pieces for the foreseeable.

  20. Paula Ziegler says:

I get a Dallas vibe. William is JR. Sue Ann is either Kate or Jason or both. Except JR was smart and worked for a living. William is just mean and lazy and entitled.

  21. Lady Digby says:

Wow I have been reading Celebitchy since 2021 and they have chronicled the chicanery thrown at Meghan so extensively that I thought that I could not longer be shocked. Then JK has the AUDACITY to be interviewed at length, boasting about his access to both brothers and his wives. The ultimate insider, the confidential royal aide only truly devoted to the brother destined to be King. He boasts about his continued closeness to Will and how much he trusts him to the extent that he confided about his agony during THAT BRUTAL YEAR. But hang on isn’t this interview a contradiction of his claim that Will wants to keep his private thoughts private and that JK intends to respect that?? So much hypocritical BS from simpering JK as he burnishes his credentials as FK ‘s leaker on chief and back stabber . JK and Will are both horrible but as Will is JK’s boss and Harry ‘s brother and Meg’s BIL he is morally more culpable than rental skunk!!

  22. Anonymous says:

For any institution to survive it must be able to change and adapt.
The monarchy will not survive with William as king.
Five years after Meghan and Harry left he is using the same playbook.
I guess that just as he is not entertaining discussions about his beard he is not entertaining discussions about smearing Meghan.
How ineffective it has become, and hiw it makes the BRF look.
    They keep trying and trying.
So much so that people who have no interest whatsoever in Meghan and Harry and this whole thing are actually questioning their motives and their sanity.
Sources, confidante and so called journalists who have his ear, please please get William some help. Perform an intervention…do something, please.

    • Lady Digby says:

@Anonymous agreed the Monarchy are in serious trouble with an unserious heir who doesn’t have the inclination to put the work in to get help, therapy, education, skills, insight, self knowledge. He is stuck and angry all the time: hasn’t worked on himself, marriage, preparing to be a reliable King. Just partying, getting a tan, growing a beard, big Suze on speed dial, JK machinations against his “enemies”, ignoring his tenants and boring royal duties.

  23. L4Frimaire says:

I really don’t get the point of dragging out this man. Besides lie and leak, no one knows what this guy even does. They have had years to demand redress for this so called bullying and done nothing other than insinuate. Meghan hasn’t been anywhere near the royal family since Elizabeth’s funeral in 2022. The With, Love show will drop regardless and people interested are still going to watch. Trying to stir up Sussex royal drama based on stuff from over 5 years ago just seems so pointless at this stage.

  24. S says:

Will is completely obsessed with Meghan. He follows her every move. As it says in the book “Obsessed With Meghan”:

For a telling example, we need look no further than his apparent concern over why Meghan had been seen without her engagement ring… the future king of England was deeply invested in the whereabouts of his sister-in-law’s jewellery. Not his brother’s wellbeing. Not the state of his own kingdom. No, the pressing matter at hand was Meghan Markle’s engagement ring…
William’s obsession with Meghan isn’t about a ring. Perhaps it isn’t even about her, really. It’s about control. It’s about the fact that she represents the one thing William has never been able to tolerate: defiance.
And so he fixates. He interferes. He makes sure her name never leaves the headlines, even as his own family crumbles around him. He should be focusing on his own problems —his father’s health, his wife’s health, The Firm’s declining popularity, the growing calls for reform in the monarchy. But instead, he is “keen to get to the bottom” of Meghan’s missing ring, a ring that’s been resized and restyled several times.

  25. Jaded says:

Knauf is nothing more than William’s attack dog and has been since he stopped working for the Sussexes. Knauf will do whatever William wants and say whatever William wants, his fealty to the FK is unconditional. He wants, more than anything, to be the poison pen behind the monarch, to be the one whispering into the King’s ear and plotting petty revenges against the Sussexes. He’s shown again and again that he has no moral compass, that he’s willing to do what it takes to take down the biracial Duchess and rub Harry’s face in it. He is pure evil and has used his utter lack of integrity to weasel his way to the top. Not too shabby for a kid born in Texas and raised in Virginia.

  26. Mslove says:

Page six and the Mail needs to stop enabling Peg’s dangerous obsession with Meghan. It’s super creepy and a very bad look for the monarchy.

  27. Me at home says:

How does Knauf keep food on the table? A quick google search for his bio doesn’t show much these days, just maybe a trustee position at Earthshot, and who knows if he’s even still doing that or if it pays more than a nominal amount. He has a partner/spouse, but unless the partner is a higher earner he must find living a middle-class life in India or Australia or wherever he is a bit of a comedown from his palace days. So, (1) the Australian 50 mins probably paid him for the interview, although no way he would have done it without his BFF William’s permission. And (2) does William still have him on some sort of retainer?

    • sevenblue says:

After all the dirty business he did for Will, there is no way he is having any financial issues. I always thought, his position at Earthshot, is a legal way for Will to funnel money to him. He is probably getting paid a lot through that. We know the money the Earthshot spends is higher than what they are giving out to the winners.

  28. Over it says:

Jason and wank are the definitions of slime . I need a shower after reading this. I hope Harry and Meghan continue to thrive and become even more successful. God don’t like ugly and Jason and Willy days are coming. Seems to me that willy has more pillow talk with jason than he does with Katie keen .

  29. Me at home says:

Tom Sykes has dumped on the Waleses 2-3 times over just the past week. He called the children’s Mustique sketches “terrible” and also said Harry and Meghan showed us how to do a Valentine’s kiss while the Waleses gave us the unromatic, “stiff upper lip” version of a kiss. Sure, Sykes still throws in the occasional article about Meghan’s branding, but what gives?

    • Saucy&Sassy says:

Me at home, it’s interesting, isn’t it? It’s almost like the Daily Beast is trying to be more even handed on this (for certain articles). But this is Sikes, who isn’t known for this. I wonder if the bm is way over being excluded from everything WanK are doing. They get the public stuff only. The bm made a big deal out of the fact that if the Sussexes took public money then the public gets to know everything.

It looks like lots of people have been let go and the rest of them are holding on with nothing to help them. If these articles are better received, I see Sikes writing more like them.

    • sevenblue says:

He is probably not getting any crumbs from Will’s side lately, just like other royal reporters. They do that all the time when W&K disappear and stop feeding them. Once they start sending quotes through their “friends”, he will continue kissing W&K’s asses.

      • jais says:

This. I don’t think Sykes is having some change of heart. I don’t know that I think his source has dried up. His source aka William’s friend is on vacation. And like the rest of the rota, he’s exasperated with William skipping the Baftas and just being an overall charisma vacuum in general. It’s also smart for Sykes to not appear so obviously stuck to his Windsor sources. In a few weeks, he’s going to be discussing what he snidely calls Meghan’s warm-hearted jam-making show and I’d be shocked if he has anything nice to say. But hey we shall see. Maybe I’ll be surprised.

    • Blujfly says:

Sykes is the only reporter that stated he first heard about William and Rose from an “earl’s daughter” months before it broke out into the open. He wrote an entire piece about it, and the point of the piece was to point out that the Wales’ own crowd was the one doing the gossiping. The Daily Beast also wrote about William’s legal threats to prevent further reporting. They have not always just quoted “William’s friend.” Coincidentally the prominence of “William’s friend” matches with the new tabloid editors taking over the Beast.

  30. Nic919 says:

Kevin Maguire said years ago on the piers Morgan show that if the public ever learned what happened they would be far more sympathetic toward them because it wasn’t the media that caused the division but something done by the family.

I can guarantee Maguire was referring to the fact that Knauf was working on William’s direct instruction to target Meghan, including the bs bullying stuff.

That Knauf remains as part of William’s circles tells you that the snake remains and William will continue to attack Meghan and indirectly Harry for years to come.

  31. Cassie says:

I live in Australia and I didn’t know about this interview until I saw it mentioned on here .
    I wouldn’t have watched it anyway .

    • Saucy&Sassy says:

Cassie, isn’t it interesting that they went to Australia for this interview? My understanding is that 60 Minutes Australia is nothing like the US 60 Minutes. My understanding is that it is just more tabloid stuff.

  32. Pam says:

My spouse, who has heard of the pegging rumors, said in response to the royals trying to compete with Meghan’s show, “May Billy and Kate could have a show featuring sex toys!”

  33. blunt talker says:

This man’s diaper is funky- the first thing I thought hearing this -they are trying to cause damage to Meghan’s new show- to put this shit out there a week before her show shows the evil in their hearts and mind-the Sussexes have been gone close to five years no need to rehash the royal talking points to smear someone-they did not fool me one bit-same as the WME bullshit-something is very very wrong with grown ass people sitting around talking about someone been gone 5 years-I adore the Sussex family and I don’t live in the past-ask Mr Kauf what has he been doing lately to help improve the royals in the Uk-Harry and Will are grown ass men but one seems to be slow in letting sleeping dogs lie-Does Will go to bed every night with visions of the Sussex family in his head-visions of causing hurt or harm to his brother’s family-something upstairs is mentally wrong with Will and some of the other royals-anybody with 2 dollars worth of sense knows this Kauf article would not have taken place without the okay of royal a family member.they can’t seem to be able to live in the future-God please bless and keep the Sussex family safe.

  34. Alteya says:

Billy the basher is obsessed with the two Diana diamonds in the engagement ring, not the ring itself. I’m sure he wants those back along with the watch, aqua ring, butterfly jewelry, etc

Weong spot, this was meant as a reply to #24

  35. Advisor2u says:

Meghan’s IG post, in which she dropped he “As Ever” business 4 days ago, has 15 million views. Just saying.

William, stop you unhinged obsession of Duchess Meghan. You can send all your staff, “friend”, and media sycophant in the UK, US and Australia to attack her, tarnish her name and reputation, but it won’t work anymore. It’s five years since she left, and her influence, businesses, partnerships, bank account and fanbase keep growing. At this point you look like a dump, obsessed idiot, cause everybody can see through your stupid games. Go and do the necessary work to prepare for your kingship instead. Maybe that will give you some credibility.
