The poor girl is named after the place she was conceived and has a name that’s not only weird, but quite easily mocked.
Brad and Angelina may not have anticipated the hysterical Spoonerism of their baby’s name, but they did prepare for her blogging future. They’re not taking any chances and had their lawyers snatch up most variations of the Shiloh Pitt domain name on Saturday when the baby was born.
PopBitch also states that Angelina and Brad’s thugs are so unrelentless that they followed a journalist home and totally harrassed her. They also say that a female journalist got the scoop on Angelina’s birth by sleeping with one of the male doctors at Swakopmund Cottage Hospital:

man knocked on her door, introducing himself with the chilling phrase, “I am not a psychopath or a killer, but…”, before telling the stringer that he’d been hired to scare her: give her “a taste of her own medicine”. What’s even more galling is that the journalist was entirely innocent of being the leak. That award goes to an
enterprising American female reporter who managed to check into the Cottage Medi- Clinic in Swakopmund, and shagged one of the doctors in order to get the scoop.
I do like Angelina and Brad, and I think they meant well by holing up in Namibia, but their staff is out of control and it makes them look like clueless squatters. It’s also a sad commentary on the state of the gossip media when a “journalist” trades sex for a story. (If you send stories I’ll give you a shout out at least. How could anyone call a little newborn a pile-o-shit?
Oh come on, celebitchy.. You have a kid yourself, how come you call a little baby shit? The poor girl.. I think “Shiloh” is a rather normal name for their baby, I expected something very weird and crazy – “Africa” would have been a bit stupid, in my opinion. But Shiloh Nouvel sounds great and fits well with their other two kids.
I’m not calling the baby shit at all, all I did was say that “Pile ‘O Shit” was an easy nickname for Shiloh because it’s a Spoonerism of her name. Plus it’s because I have a kid that I’m joking about the name. If my kid had that name, one of my friends or family would undoubtedly make a joke about the name being easily reversed like that.
But.. why? Maybe it’s because I’m not American that I don’t understand why this name is obviously SO bad. Does it have a special meaning in English? To me, it sounds beautiful and extraordinary.
I’m not crazy about the name but it could have been worse (Bluebell Madonna comes to mind). I think they’re already calling her “Shi” and that’s probably going to stick.
It’s a cute name, it really is. And it doesn’t have a weird second meaning like Bluebell does..
