I felt like this new report from The National Enquirer was old news, but considering that the Enquirer breaks tons of stories about Mel Gibson and Oksana, I’m taking this one as gospel. Last year, In Touch Weekly reported that Mel had moved Oksana into a $2.4 “love nest” in Sherman Oaks, California, in addition to “a baby-friendly Mercedes SUV, a 3-carat diamond commitment ring and an allowance of more than $10,000 a month for clothes, food and other necessities.” Now the Enquirer is reporting that in the wake of Mel and Oksana’s split, Mel has purchased another home for Oksana and Lucia, this time a $3 million spread further away from Mel’s Malibu compound, and that is actually owned by Mel’s production company.

Mel Gibson’s ex-mistress has a new home sweet $3 million home! Russian beauty Oksana Grigorieva has moved into this magnificent spread with the couple’s daughter, Lucia.
The 3,500-square-foot home is owned by the Mel’s production company and has stunning views of California’s San Fernando Valley.
Built in 1961 and renovated in 2006, the luxury pad features four bedrooms and three and a half baths, plus a gourmet kitchen and magnificent hardwood floors.
The contemporary-style home is flooded with sunlight thanks to multiple windows, and has a stone and stucco exterior.
As The ENQUIRER previously reported Mel and Oksana recently split. She was living in a house owned by Mel, close to his Malibu family compound. Sources say that Oksana and baby Lucia will be living high on the hog in their new home.
“Oksana seems to have landed on her feet – again,” said a source. “She’s the mother of Mel’s child, and it appears he’s going to look after both of them.”
While Oksana won’t be entitled to alimony since they never wed, Mel has promised to be a part of Lucia’s life and financially support her.

Interesting. Especially given Oksana’s recent comments in Russia, where she told reporters: “I can tell you that after three years of relationship we have split up – suddenly and recently. Unfortunately, I cannot give you the reason. But you will find out everything quite soon. Here is the official version: We split up by mutual consent…” Many of us thought Oksana was preparing to either sell her story to the highest bidder, or was throwing out the possibility of a tell-all to get Mel to pony up some major cash. LaineyGossip calls it “some masterful golddigging. This is no rookie move. This is baby mother manipulation Russian-styles. And there is a lot at stake.” Is this new home just the first “gift” that Oksana will receive for keeping her mouth shut?

I’m not sure what she thinks she can tell us that would be any worse than what we already know. Mel just seems like the type to take care of his children, at least financially.
I agree that she’s squeezing him, but I don’t think the house would be the payoff. If it’s owned by Mel’s production company, she’s got no security (But I’m assuming he gets to write it off as a business expense.) I would think that if this was the payoff, the title would be in her name.
I think she’d be going for straight cash payout disguised as child support (She wouldn’t have to pay taxes on child support).
I like their “friendly” split. It will be friendly as long as she can manipulate Mel and keep this baby as a “noose” around his neck. She doesn’t really have anything, if he bought her another house then it’s not HER house because it’s not in her name! It’s owned by his production co. the thing is, is that she CAN LOSE IT! If it’s not in your name, honey, it can and will be taken away from you!
She is a horrible, evil mother to use her own innocent child to manipulate and hurt other people for her selfish reasons. She cares nothing for her own child’s emotional state when she gets older. Oksana causes her own child to be rejected by her father and others. Mel rejects this child and I believe his kids reject the child as well because of Oks unyielding/controlling behavior.

A payoff would be a house in her homeland of Russia and in her name.
Either way, how is it that Mel still gets the better of the deal. He got to sleep around on his wife, get out of a marriage he wanted out of and send his mistress off on her way with only having to pay child support that he can afford, then proceed to keep living his life as an unattached (desirable to some) bachelor.
Hmm. Actually I guess Robin got the better deal now that I think about it.

Well I don’t know if it couldn’t be any worse I have had a field day about this split, surfing the net some interesting facts are emerging. I was reading on a site where they said they had proof on her having had an abortion?.
Can’t remember which one, Concerning Mels Kids and her They are thrilled that the relationship is over, I don’t think for a minute they liked her, especially when she leaked the story of her pregnancy to the media and put Mel in to the stressful environment in which he has found himself in the last year.
The same source that leaked this story to the media about the split between these two has also commented about Mel’s Family and friends being relieved and pleased that it’s over as well.
So believe me I still think down the road she’ll put her foot in it, so to speak. She wont be able to help herself.

This is what I think happened: Mel being a “ticking time bomb” pressure has been building up in him and Oks bagering him about getting married and probably not being around that much, I think Mel blew up and went into a rage and tore the house up. Her moving into another house that seemed “suddenly” because of the damage to the house she had been living in.
So, maybe she is trying to hold that over his head that she would tell everyone about his violent rage.

Home purchases and moves don’t happen overnight. Oksana’s move must have been planned in advance. Mel picked the location (not too close and not too far away) and Oksana and her mother picked the house.
j. ferber, you are right. Mel is cheap. He’s not going to fork over thousands a month in child support if he can allow Oksana’s family to live rent free in his property. This arrangement gives him more control too. If he gifted her with a house, she could sell it, pocket the millions, and take Lucia to Northern California or Outer Siberia. This way Lucia stays close by.
I question why did she move into another house owned by production co. when she was already living “rent free” owned by production co.? Two houses owned by production co. one closer to him the other farther away? Why move from one to the other?
This “new” house looks like the one Oksana and her son moved into late 2008/early 2009, which was also owned by Icon Productions. My understanding was that she always lived there, in Sherman Oaks, while Mel lived in a Malibu house he bought from David Duchovny/Tea Leoni. Did they ever really live together? I’ve read conflicting reports. Regardless, Oksana’s set for life, even if she and Mel never marry.
