For some strange reason, the producers of Iron Man 2 decided to stage their first major photo call on a late Friday afternoon in Los Angeles. What the hell? That’s like the worst time and place for a photo call, especially since most publications and blogs aren’t quick to update on the weekend. But maybe that’s what they had planned – making the photo call a huge “event” that would dominate the weekend coverage? So here are some photos of all of the major actors: Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke and Don Cheadle (who replaced Terrence Howard). Just a few comments about the photos:
Gwyneth looked very good, but she and ScarJo are wearing very similar outfits, which probably pissed off Dame Goopy. Goopy and ScarJo didn’t pose together either. Meow! Eh. Whatever, Gwyneth did look good:
I really like what ScarJo is doing with her hair these days. This is a great look for her:

Sigh… this promotional tour is going to be epic. I have my heart set on lots of Gwyneth bitchfaces at ScarJo, all the while RDJ plays peacemaker, so these people better bring it!
eh i prefer skarjo as brunette or redhead, being blonde kind of washes her out and makes her blend in especially in la/hollywood where everyone and their grandma is a bleached blonde. she looks good still, just doesn’t stand out as much from the legion of other pretty blond starlets.
goopy looks nice for a change, all soft and happy.

It’s plain and simple. Scarjo has natural sex appeal and Gwyneth doesn’t even though she is more fashionable. RDJ looks great! Love Don Cheadle. He’s great in every movie.

It’s the color of Scarjo’s eyebrows contrasted with the hair that make them look too harsh. Thinned out would only make it worse. Also, the thinner the eyebrows, the older one looks.

Looks to my untrained eye that the dresses Scarlet and Goopy are wearing might be from the same designer? Maybe they coordinated.
I think the problem with ScarJo is the color of the dress, she’s pale and blonde, wearing nude lipstick and the color of the dress is too light as well. She still looks good, they all do

I think the Gwynnie/Scarjo “feud” is all a big nothing!! All made up by the ragmags. Neither woman has anything in common with the other outside of this movie and I don’t think they had many scenes together. Also, Gwynnie plays RDJ’s secretary/assistant. Why would she be upset with Scarlett, who is playing the “sexy” one in the movie? If there is an “Iron Man 3” Gwynnie knows she will be in it and Scarlett won’t be.
I also think they dressed similar on purpose.

Scarlett would’ve done well to get some styling or moisturizing cream, rubbed it in her hands and ran them gently over her hair. That dress makes her look frumpy. She needs a different length.
Goopy does look good. I normally don’t think so but she did it all right.

Gwyn has this rep for being soooo skinny and lanky while Scarlett is known for her curves but in these pics Scarlett looks so tiny and Gwyn appears so much bigger than her.
Well, nowadays Scarlett is tiny. I mean she has always been a tiny person but now that she lost some weight (and probably gained some back already) for the role it just highlights her tinyness.
RDJ looks a bit like Tim Curry here.
RDJ and Don Cheadle have a good hold of Goopy in this photo. Do you suppose that is to anchor her in place and keep her from flying at ScarJo with claws extended? 😉

God I wish SJ had kept her hair from the movie. It was so so pretty on her. When you’re naturally a redhead, speaking from experience, blonde will totally wash you out. Surely someone has told her. Goopy looks like she’s just trying so hard not to punch the peasants photographing her. And RDJ… Le sigh.. Why do men get better with age?
