Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley are on their honeymoon in Portofino, Italy. Avril and Deryck were married in a fairytale wedding on a private estate in Montecito, CA on July 15th, 2006.
Avril has been rumored to be pregnant, with bloggers like us gleefully pointing out her tiny stomach bump. She's seen drinking wine in these candids, though, making it unlikely that she's with child.
Avril and Deryck enjoyed jet-skiing, sightseeing and some private cuddle time on a yacht. Their honeymoon hasn't all been casual fun. They were seen dressed up to attend a party.

Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley were married last weekend in California, and Canada.com has the official photos. They're low quality, but clear and lovely, and show the happy couple exchanging rings, kissing, eating the cake, and taking off Avril's garter during the reception. Picture captions include details such as the chandelier that hung from the flower-draped awning under which they were married, and their four-tiered half-chocolate half-vanilla wedding cake.
Avril says that the ceremony was an emotional moment for her, and that she did her best to keep poised:
Guests took home guitar picks with the bride and groom's name, and custom gift boxes. I wonder how long it will take before they hit eBay.

Avril Lavigne wed her fiance of over two years, Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley, in a fairytale setting on a private estate in Montecito, CA on Saturday. She wore a Vera Wang gown with a flowing train and long veil and carried a bouquet of white roses. Her father walked her down the aisle:
The couple said their vows under an awning decorated with white flowers in front of 110 guests, including family and friends from their native Ontario.
Once the groom had kissed the bride, guests tossed rose petals at the newlyweds as they walked back up the aisle.
After the wedding, guests were to be treated to an outdoor cocktail hour before the reception, including a sit-down dinner, under a tent on the estate. In contrast to the all-white ceremony, the reception will have a red theme, with centerpieces of red roses and other flowers.
The couple's first dance is expected to be to the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris."
Lavigne, 21, and Whibley, 26, have been together for two years, and became engaged in Venice, Italy, in June 2005, while Lavigne was on the last leg of her European tour.
In late 2004 Lavigne started sporting a small pink heart-shaped tattoo with the letter "D" on her right wrist, supposedly for her guitarist-singer-lyricist beau.
Its such a beautiful setting for a wedding and it looks like a lovely event. It's nice to see the pictures, but unfortunately that means that helicopters were hovering over the ceremony. Hopefully it didn't detract from the moment for the happy couple or their guests.

Avril Lavigne must have had a tame bachelorette party because her fiance, Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley, attended too. They celebrated on June 30th in LA:
Speculation is rampant that Lavigne and Whibley will marry this weekend, with reports that they have already notified friends and family:
Friends and family of the pair were reportedly notified days ago of the plan and told to book their tickets immediately for Santa Barbara, where the Canadian rockers have a house together.
Earlier reports had suggested the wedding would take place Aug. 26, but media scrutiny apparently spurred the couple to move up the date.
This could definitely be true, because Lavigne was said to want a summer wedding, and to be planning for children right away.
It is uncertain whether Lavigne is already pregnant. We spotted a bump on the slender singer in several recent pictures, but in these photos from the end of June it doesn't seem to have grown enough to substantiate pregnancy rumors.

We've been trying to figure out if Avril Lavigne is pregnant, or if she just has a little tummy and loves wearing stripes. In the pictures of her at the showing of "Over the Hedge" at Cannes, she looks somewhat pregnant in a striped dress. Avril is the voice of possum "Heather" in "Over The Hedge," which is getting positive reviews and is doing well at the box office. It is at number two in the US behind "DaVinci Code."
In a press conference for the film yesterday, she talked about the difficulties of voicing an animated character:
“It's hard to be running or to be falling down the stairs and have to make that come out of your mouth but stay still,” she said.
Nolte joked: “I didn't know what was going on at all.”
But co-directors Tim Johnson and Karey Kirkpatrick said Nolte did his homework and came in with a thick stack of research on bears.
Willis, who worked on the project for 18 months, said he found it “very difficult to work without props, to work without cool clothes, to work without the other actors.
“It wasn't until I saw the final film and heard people laughing, actually laughing, that I felt we were on the right track,” he said.

Avril Lavigne has a small cameo in an upcoming movie with Richard Gere, "The Flock":
Still, Avril Lavigne appears in the forthcoming "The Flock," and even though it's a small part, the role could be a breakthrough for Sk8ter Girl.
"I have one scene in it. It's with Claire Danes and Richard Gere, and Richard Gere was, like, really cool," Avril says of working with her childhood hero.
"In between takes he was like totally giving me pointers. It was so crazy; I've known of him since I was so little."
"My parents thought that was so cool."
Lavigne voiced an animated character in the film "Over the Hedge," and with this latest role it looks like she is making a move onto the big screen.
Lavigne is rumored to be pregnant. In these pictures of her out in Malibu on Saturday with her fiance, Deryck Whibley, you can see a little baby bump if you squint hard enough.
A party was held Saturday at the Palms Casino to celebrate the opening of their new "Fantasy Tower" :
Several of the rooms in the new tower are themed. There's a suite with two bowling lanes and a giant sized suite with a basketball court.
Living the fantasy will bring you back down to reality. A night in one of the suites can run $5,000 to $50,000.
Avril Lavigne has attributed her new glamorous image to maturity rather than a makeover, saying it's a natural progression:

Life and Style speculated that Avril is pregnant over a month ago, and Avril's friends say she wants children right away. She plans to marry her live-in boyfriend, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, this summer in a traditional church wedding with a rocking reception.
Avril has lent her name to a list of media-savvy artists who are against the recording industry's strongarm tactics to try to "protect" recorded music. She and Deryk have joined the Canadian Music Creators Coalition to speak out against DRM locks on music files, and the practice of suing fans for music distribution.

Avril Lavigne is the voice of "Heather" in the upcoming animated film "Over the Hedge." "Over the Hedge" chronicles the adventures of a group of semi-wild animals in the suburbs, including a possum, squirrel and racoon. (I know because the trailer plays in the "Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit" DVD that my son wants to watch every day.) It is coming out in theatres on May 19th.

Avril Lavigne sang at the "Volvo for Life" awards ceremony in NY yesterday. Her tummy looked less than flat in a tight top with horizontal black stripes.
The awards honored young people who do extraordinary volunteer work "in the areas of safety, quality of life and environment." They were hosted by Benjamin Bratt, with performances by Avril Lavigne and the Harlem Gospel Choir.
Lavigne, 21, is rumored to be pregnant. She has been engaged to Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, 25, since June 2005 and owns a home with him in Beverly Hills. She has recently said that she wants to marry Whibley this summer and plans to have children.

Avril Lavigne probably is pregnant as we mentioned yesterday, because now TMZ is reporting that she plans to marry her fiance, Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley this summer.
She also is said to wants kids right away, which is celebrity-code for "I'm pregnant."
Lavigne -- who got engaged to her fellow Canadian last summer -- has told her friends to brace themselves for a traditional white wedding at an undisclosed church in Beverly Hills.
Avril is said to be planning a reception with circus performers, comedians and popular rock bands. She'll probably make a mint off selling the pictures.

Reader Carrie sent these pictures of Avril Lavigne taken on April 1st with what looks like a little baby bump! We first mentioned the rumor that Avril Lavigne was pregnant on March 19th.
Lavigne, 21, has been engaged to Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley, 25, since June 2005. The two have owned a home together in Beverly Hills for nearly two years. Lavigne has a small heart-shaped pink tattoo on her right wrist inscribed with the letter "D" and her fiance has been seen out with a wedding band on his left hand.
In a picture of Avril Lavigne and Hilary Duff out partying with their significant others on April 1st, Lavigne is the only one who looks sober.
It could just be a bad picture of Lavigne, but she's skinny everywhere else and we think she's pregnant!

In the latest pictures we have of Lavigne at the Nylon Guys Issue launch party on 3/14 she is wearing two layered shirts and it's hard to see her tummy. Her fiancee is also hiding his left hand. Lavigne is certainly in a stable relationship, and although she's young she seems responsible enough to have a child. Only time will tell if she's actually pregnant.
Samaire Armstrong is set to return to the O.C. this season as Anna. Her character will provide a much-needed challenge for bickering on-screen and real life couple, Summer and Seth.
In a recent interview with gaming site IGN, Armstrong revealed that she thinks she's tougher than Bilson:
Armstrong: I don't know if she can. [Laughs]
IGN: Wow!
Armstrong: I'm serious. Come on. I really don't think Rachel Bilson could kick my ass. She's too sweet.
Now that's a fight we would pay money to see.
