Christina Aguilera told USA Weekend magazine that she suffered from her father's abuse while her family was stationed on a military base. She says that domestic abuse is common on military bases in her experience. Starpulse runs the quote from the article with commentary that she's "attacking" military bases, but she seems to be speaking about her childhood and doesn't overgeneralize:
Aguilera has never been one to shy away from the abuse she experienced as her mother and father fought and often writes about her memories in songs like "I'm OK" and new song "Oh Mother."
She adds, "It's therapeutic for me to talk about it. It gives me a reason to understand why I went through what I did."
That's too bad that Christina had to go through that as a child and it's good that she found a decent man like Jordan and didn't pick another creep like her dad. It's hard to take her seriously as a person, though, when it's rumored that she doesn't even look interviewers in the eye. Still, she should be commended for talking about her difficult childhood.

Christina Aguilera says that she loves having sex with her husband, music producer Jordan Bratman, in public places.
Unfortunately Aguilera seems to prefer indoor public places, making embarassing pictures unlikely. I don't really want to imagine Aguilera and Bratman having sex, and wish I never brought it up.

There's not much of a story to go along with these pictures. Aguilera's International Barbie Pepsi ad aired in the US this week, but we already covered that. Here's Aguilera at her hotel in Paris on July 17th. She seems to have ditched her nipple ring.
The fat guy ogling her in one of the pictures is pretty disgusting. One forgets that celebrities are the subjects of all sorts of creepy desires. When they dress like Christina Aguilera, it's no wonder.
Pepsico tries to show that carbonated sugar water is palatable to all gullible cultures by posing Christina Aguilera in various outfits and hairstyles that would look just as good on International collector Barbies.
Aguilera used to shill for Pepsi's biggest competitor, Coke, but moved over when they gave her the chance to spend more time in hair and makeup. Her endorsement deal is said to be around $3.7 million:
The chart-topper samples the classic cola in a series of exotic locales where she dances and gyrates to a variety of cultural rhythms before ending up back in New York, hellomagazine.com reported.
"I had a great time," Aguilera said after the filming.
A more accurate spokesperson for Pepsi would be Rosie O'Donnell. We loved the normal Snapple lady from Long Island. Why can't Pepsi go the everyperson route and hire an average person who actually consumes their drink? Jared helped Subway boost sales, and a non-celebrity everyman/woman would do the same for Pepsi. Instead some brilliant marketer decided to use Christina Aguilera and make her look even more plastic.

Christina Aguilera is such a diva. Not only does she arrive hours late for most every scheduled interview, she also refuses to look interviewers in the eye. She insists that the room is darkly lit and sits facing the other way while she answers questions:
Now with the release of her new album she's learned a new trick. During promo interviews she's refused to look at any journalist. Instead, the diva insists that the interview, for which she's usually two to four hours late, takes place in a dimly lit room, where she sits and stares in the other direction completely to the journalists while they ask, and she answers, questions.
If this is true it's ridiculous and Aguilera deserves a serious career slump for being so arrogant. Maybe she'll learn when she's older that she's no better than anyone else and that you have to be kind to people - especially the press - if you want a good reputation.
Maybe kids will soften Aguilera's outlook - although she predictably doesn't seem to want any because they would interfere with the amount of time she has available to apply makeup. She's vague on the issue of children and gives a diplomatic answer to make it seem like not completely uninterested in them:
Notice that she doesn't say she'll start thinking of having a family, she gives an answer that's even more removed from that - "we'll start venturing into the mindframe of starting" a family. That means no way does she want kids at this point.
She has also called her new album "Back to Basics" her "child" and that it's like having twins:
It is not the first time Christina has compared her new record to having a baby.
Earlier this year, the pop beauty said making her new album was the same as being pregnant - twice.
WTF would she know about having kids or being pregnant? That's so fucking snotty. Once Aguilera realizes she wants kids - when she's over 35 and her clock is ticking - she won't be able to get pregnant because she couldn't be bothered when she was fertile.

Everyone thought it was amazing how gorgeous a cleaned-up K-Fed looked when the pictures from his Item Magazine spread came out. He kind of looked like a used car salesman to me. (If you still think he's cute, just check out these pictures of him lounging around the pool with his gut hanging out during his PR vacation with Britney.)
K-Fed is the new face of the Blue Marlin Clothing Company's Five Star Vintage Clothing Line. Guess they don't mind having their brand associated with a guy whose only claim to fame is fathering lots of children and starring in the cringe-worthy "Chaotic".
Christina Aguilera has made another dig at Britney's husband, K-Fed, saying that her husband is reliable and "isn't trying to put out an album" or be in the spotlight:
Aguilera felt the need to bring everyone's attention to the fact that Britney was not at the MTV Music Awards this year. She said something about wanting to chat with her, but she was really highlighting how hot she still is, while Britney has let herself go and is focusing on her role as a neglectful mother. Aguilera called Britney's wedding to K-Fed two years ago "pathetic" at the time, and she was unfortunately right.

Highlighting the fact that she's happily married and hot as ever with a thriving career while Britney Spears, well - isn't, Christina Aguilera said that she's oh so broken up by the fact that Britney couldn't make it to the MTV movie awards this year:
In case you want to give Aguilera the benefit of the doubt and don't think this is a dig at Britney, read what she said about Britney's wedding with K-Fed two years ago:
They may have served chicken wings and hamburgers, but the wedding wasn't all that trashy. A rare hand-beaded invitation to the Spears-Federline wedding along with an initialed party favor candle is for sale on eBay for nearly $1,000. The favors were classy even if the relationship never will be. The eBay seller should have waited until the divorce announcement in order to drive up the price.

Christina Aguilera performed her new single "Ain't No Other Man" at the MTV Movie Awards on Saturday. It looks like she removed her skirt onstage and stripped down to a pinup-worthy one piece bathing suit. That's about as far as she'll go now - she recently was convinced by her husband, Jordan Bratman, not to take her top off for a magazine. She wanted to go topless to prove that her breasts were real, but her husband was said to be "horrified" by the idea.
Aguilera's new album is inspired by the jazz era and includes gritty elements that add authenticity to her pop sound. You can download the first single, "Aint No Other Man," in mp3 format.

The first single off Christina Aguilera's new album is incredible. It's catchy with a great beat, some carefully added retro elements, and Xtina's strong vocals. Christina's new retro-influenced album, "Back to Basics" will be released on August 15th. She will sing the single you can download below, "Ain't No Other Man," on the MTV movie awards on June 8th.

Christina Aguilera appears in new Pepsi ads airing overseas. In the latest ad shown below, she riles up fans in a soccer stadium. She's also seen in an earlier ad (link leads to YouTube video) recording in the studio and singing onstage.

The Maxim 100th issue party was held on April 8th at Club Tryst at the Wynn Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. While Christina Aguilera and Haylie Duff showed up, Paris and Nicky Hilton are noticeably absent from the arrival and inside pictures of the party. We know that they were at the Maxim weekend event as they attended the poker tournament the day before.
The sisters must have been too exhausted to party on Saturday night, because Perez Hilton reports that they were out quite late with a group the night before. Vanessa Minnillo had a cat fight! Paris also gave an impromptu performance of her entire CD at club Pure at 2:30 in the morning.
The highlight of the evening had to be when MTV VJ and Nick Lachey's new paramour, Vanessa Minnillo, was escorted out of the club for allegedly getting into a fight with a girl in the VIP area.
Around 2:30 in the morning, Paris, Nicky, Jon Alagem, Perez and The Craigster all hopped in the car and headed over to Pure at Caesars' Palace, where Paris put on a show for the adoring crowd!!
Totally spontaneous and utterly amazing, Paris handed the DJ at Pure her CD and proceeded to perform her entire album.
Yeah, it was "hot." So hot that the crowd kept asking for more encores and Paris - eating it up - vamped and worked in on the stage, even doing some songs twice.
Oh no. The crap has just begun with Paris' album. You can bet her singles are going to get more airplay and become stuck in a loop in your head worse that Madonna's "Hung Up."
Here are some of the more sober people at the Maxim party the next night, including Jordan Bratman and Christina Aguilera, Hayden Christensen, Shannon Elizabeth, Taye Diggs, Usher, Lucy Lawless, Vanessa Minnillo, Carey Hart (without his wife pink), Haylie Duff, Kristy Swanson and James Franco. Lil Jon, Ludacris and Usher performed.

Christina Aguiera has bought one of "art terrorist" Banksy's works, a piece of pop art depicting Queen Victoria in garters sitting on a woman's face. The artwork cost nearly $44,000, and Aguilera is said to be thrilled with her purchase:
Banksy has pulled daring and dangerous stunts to get his art noticed. In March, 2005, Banksy snuck his art onto the walls of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Brooklyn Museum all in one day. Banksy painted scenes on the Palestinian side of Israel's security wall last August that created the illusion of a tropical paradise and mountain views on the other side. He was threatened by Israeli security forces soon afterwards, and was lucky to escape.
Banksy never allows himself to be photographed, presumably so he can continue his art pranks.

Christina Alguilera's latest album is a departure from the pop genre and will feature jazz-inspired songs with an authentic feel. Alguilera says her "Back to Basics" album, which is due out in June, has a "20s and 30s vibe." Called one of the most anticipated albums of the year, Aguilera's description suggests it won't dissapoint:
We detailed earlier how Christina chose rap producer DJ Premiere to produce five tracks for her album. It sounds like Christina's newest release will be a commercial and critical success.

"It was kind of a shock because I was like, 'How the hell does she know about me?'" Premier told Billboard about his first conversation with RCA about Aguilera’s album. "I'm one of those guys that really doesn't expect pop artists to really be up on me. My first question was, 'What does she know about me?'"
As it turned out, Aguilera was quite a fan of his production style on classic Gang Starr material like "Jazz Thing".

This latest evidence comes from Christina Aguilera, whose symptoms include a nipple ring poking through her top.

Christina Aguilera has some news outlets guessing that she's pregnant after her remarks about wanting a family. She clearly says that she won't be trying until late next year, though, and the speculation seems unwarranted. Britian's Mirror reports:
"I always wanted to be a young mother," she tells Elle mag. "When I know what I want, I go for it."
We posted pictures of Aguilera drunk just a few days ago, making it doubly unlikely that she's pregnant.
