Paris Hilton's monkey is tired of being an accessory to her bad style. He took a chunk out her arm, sending the ditzy heiress to the hospital to receive a tetanus shot.
The wound was superficial and Paris spent a few hours at the hospital and received a tetanus shot.
Paris called her publicist, Elliot Mintz, at about 3AM Tuesday morning after the incident occurred. Mintz tells TMZ he drove her to the emergency room where she was seen by a doctor, treated and released. The whole ordeal took just a few hours.
In an odd bit of foreshadowing, an MTV special focused on Paris -- that aired the same day of the incident -- actually featured Baby Luv in a segment, during which the animal tried to bite her.
TMZ has a video of Paris holding the agitated kinkajou, Baby Luv, while describing the incident where she had to take a limo with all her animals in the back because the airline refused to transport them.
Paris' publicist really earns his money if he's going over to her house in the middle of the night to take her to the hospital. Doesn't she have a friend or throwaway lover who could do that for her?
Maybe the monkey just wanted to do Paris a favor and keep her from going out in an outfit like this. She is seen in a satin top and pants like the kind you wear to bed while wearing a red belt across her ribs. At least her purse, belt, and shoes coordinate. WTF? Look at the people behind her - they're totally making fun of her.

People reports that Mischa Barton was seen out holding hands with a new guy in London recently, which may signify the end of her stormy relationshiop with Whitestarr frontman and all-around suspicious character Cisco Adler.
Mischa has hooked up with Rugby star Mark Robinson, also known as "Sharky" of the Northampton Saints. Robinson is from New Zealand so he's got to have the sexiest accent:
The 20-year-old British-born actress had been dating rocker Cisco Adler but reportedly hooked up with the 30-year-old sportsman at a swanky bash in Windsor, England.
An onlooker at the party tells Britain's the News of the World, "Mark couldn't believe his luck. One minute they were standing there talking and the next they were all over each other in the corner of the tent. They were (kissing) and running their hands over each other's bodies. They didn't seem to care who saw."
A close friend of Robinson adds, "He's been smiling all week and has told pals but won't talk publicly."
As Mischa matures, so does her taste in men. Cisco seems like a decent guy, considering how he spoke candidly in her defense when Paris talked trash about her, but he doesn't seem like he's in Mischa's league.
There's also a report that Mischa snubbed British comic Russell Brand, who was briefly linked with Kate Moss. Brand tried to hit on Barton at a London club recently, but she wasn't having it.
Barton won't have much time to spend with her new sportsman this week. She flew into Australia on Sunday to help promote designer David Jones' summer collection.

Update: I'm not sure Mischa is shown with Mark Robinson, because the guy she's holding hands with doesn't look exactly like the pictures I've seen of the rugby player. She hooked up with Robinson according to sources, but whether that's the same guy in the photo with her is up to debate.

Kiwi rugby player. I work with the information I have at the time, people! It's like 6 hours later here, so I'm looking at the gossip at 2:00 AM EST. Sometimes it's fresh, most of the time it's green and not ripe enough to pick.
Sky.co.uk had a huge image gallery of celebrities wearing the same dress to different events.
A notable exception to this was Gayle King and Alfre Woodard who wore the same floaty orange Pamella Roland dress to the 2006 Tony Awards. They both played it off like it wasn't a big deal and happily posed for photographs together.
Speaking of dress disasters, Star Magazine thought it was a huge scandal that Julia Roberts wore the same dress twice in seven years. She was seen in the hot red Vivienne Tam number when attending the "Notting Hill" premiere in 1999. She wore the dress again to the closing night of her Broadway show "Three Days of Rain" this year. We applaud Roberts for recycling the dress, and think that if it's still in fashion, seven years is plenty of time to wait to wear it again. It must be a slow news week if Star is acting like it's a huge faux pas on Roberts' part.

Britney Spears was photographed working out on Monday! She was even wearing makeup. This is good news for Britney. She's learning to drive stick, has a new car and a new male nanny and may be divorcing Kevin finally. Now that she's working out you can be sure that she's getting out of the rut she's been in since hurting her ankle in 2004 and shacking up with K-Fed.
Britney is said to be planning to design her own line of baby clothes a la Gwen Stefani. She's reportedly bored and doodling sketches for an infant fashion line aimed at high-end boutiques:
A friend of Britter’s added: “She’s had a lot of time on her hands where it’s just her and Sean and she would doodle designs. She’s really creative and loves doing it.
“She’s designed a little punk rock outfit, a hip hop outfit and a sharp suit. They’re so cute! I think she’ll try and get boutiques to sell them. She doesn’t want to fund it herself.”
Britney has terrible fashion taste, but people are going to market and buy that crap if this story is true. My son has several outfits that people have bought him with ears and tails on them. It's not like you can humiliate a baby by dressing him in dumb clothing. Babies are just about the only demographic that Britney can safely design for.

So the pictures are out from the pre-premiere party of "Marie Antoinette" at Cannes and Kirsten Dunst actually looks good. She covers up a little too much, but her sky blue dress is form-fitting, and dare I say - elegant. Someone clued the girl in, or maybe she got lucky.
It looks like the dress that Hillary Swank wore to the 2005 Oscars, but it's not quite the same. Kiki's dress has a horizontal sash built in around the middle and little applique birds on the skirt. Swank's dress had a criss-cross sash, a different neck, and a more form-fitting skirt.
If only Kirsten would hire her stylist full time.
I have to admit I was waiting for these pictures to come out to see what terrible outfit Kirsten Dunst would wear to Cannes while promoting her film "Marie Antoinette." She did not dissapoint in plain black pants, a white 3/4 sleeve puffy shirt and ugly black flats. (Dita, this is why celebrities needs stylists.)
It looks like Kirsten is wearing the famous "puffy shirt" from Seinfeld. The original was donated to the Smithsonian, so she must have found this musty copy in one of the vintage shops she frequents.
We won't be the only ones to come up with the puffy shirt comparison. Like Britney's 70s porn bodyguard, it's kind of hard not to notice.
People is reporting that Kirsten told her friend to "chug" a vodka tonic while they were out at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. She once said in an interview with Jay Leno that she buys cases of champagne from Costco and that's about the only thing in her fridge. Maybe that would explain her outfit.

A lot of people like Gwen Stefani, and it's nice that she's pregnant and married. I can't stand her, although I do publish pictures of her and haven't said anything about it yet. She hired a bunch of American-born Asian women to follow her around and act like they enjoy behaving like Japanese kept women. Their contract even stipulated that they couldn't talk. Gwen may want to capitalize on the harijaku culture, but what she did is like having minstrels accompany her because she thinks African culture is cool.
Her new line of baby shoes is ridiculous. The designs are aimed at urban minorties who are more style-conscious in general, and statistically have less money. A pair of baby shoes from Gwen's line costs $50 a pair. Babies don't really need shoes until they can walk, but the sizes only come in sizes 0-3. My kid was a siize 5 by the time he could walk.
So Gwen's new line of baby shoes, which she has called "so cute," are expensive accessories meant for babies who don't even need them.
There are people from all walks of life who want to buy expensive shit for their children. My cousin, for instance, has money and spends it on baby items that are obsolete within a couple of months. These shoes are aimed at style-conscious urban mothers who often can't afford it. Is it Gwen Stefani's fault that people buy crap they can't afford and don't need? No, but she's catering to it. These shoes are undoubtedly manufactured overseas in sweatshop-like conditions, and could surely have a lower price. (If you have evidence that this is not true, please send a link, because I looked around.) Is Gwen the only designer guilty of this? Of course not. If the damn shoes are so expensive, though, they could at least be made in the US.

Gwen Stefani will include some tiny tennis shoes in her Lamb fashion line. She has announced plans to release gold-colored baby shoes under her label:
Stefani is also widening her footwear line for adults to include boots and stilettos.
Stefani is also designing a selection of watches and plans to keep expanding.
She adds, "I want to do lingerie and make-up at some point. I want to do everything, eventually."
She won't have much time to do everything. She is due to have her first baby with fellow rocker Gavin Rossdale in June.

Sienna Miller is taking herbal breast enhancement pills in a bid to increase her cleavage.
According to Britain's Grazia magazine, Sienna, who has reportedly dumped Hayden Christensen to rekindle her romance with Jude Law - told friends: "I don't even need a bra now. It'd be wonderful to have some womanly curves again, I dream about it."
A friend of mine took those things a couple of years ago, and claimed they actually worked. She said they made her ass bigger too, though. At least she's trying to do it naturally instead of opting for the surgical route right away.
Sienna will design her own jeans as part of her deal with Pepe. It's a good thing that she's limited to jeans and can't do damage with a full fashion line. Remember how she said she would never design her own clothing line? Guess she considers this an exception.

The Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art held a ball last night to celebrate the opening of an exhibit on British design. Sienna Miller, wearing an awful gold sequined minidress and black tights, served as co-chair for the event.
The flamboyant show, made up of themed rooms including a Hunt Ball and a Gentleman’s Club, is the latest example of the city’s growing obsession with all things from across the pond.
Celebrities from the UK including Liz Hurley, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell put on their glad rags for the lavish event.
The Americans were represented by A-listers including Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker and Richard Gere.
The British-born editor of American Vogue, Anna Wintour, swept in first.
Miller, who teamed her glittering frock with opaque black tights and wore her hair tied back in a simple ponytail, shared the limelight with Christopher Bailey, the creative director of Burberry.
He and Wintour were the starlet’s fellow co-chairs. The fashion house and Vogue publisher Condé Nast have sponsored the exhibition.
The guy dressed like a cabaret pirate posing with Charlize Theron is Dior designer John Galiano. He's responsible for her monstrosity of an Oscar gown with the giant shoulder bow. Sienna Miller is shown with Christopher Bailey, Burberry's creative director.

Maybe Paris Hilton can act. According to the Swedish newspaper, Aftonbladet, the hard-partying heiress cried to get out of a ticket for driving without a registration for her new car:
So Paris didn't even get a ticket for driving with an unregistered vehicle. She's had the car for about a month, so you think she could send one of her minions to the DMV for her. Here are some pictures of Paris getting a parking ticket, so she's at least suffered that indignity.

Update: pictures of Hilton at the opening of the "replay" clothing store in LA last night. Brandon Davis is launching his line of jeans at the new store. Davis is a former friend of Hilton, and spoke out against her last year, calling her a racist. Nick Hilton also attending the opening.
Paris will host a rock concert at an Austrian ski resort this weekend, and will have to introduce Pink to the crowd. Pink mocks the skinny heiress in her video "Stupid Girls."
Lindsay Lohan is rumored to be in talks to play the anime action character Sailor Moon in an upcoming movie. It's a pretty weak rumor, but good enough for us to report:
The source goes on to say that they really hope Lohan doesn't get the part. She certainly hasn't shown her acting skills yet, although it can't be too hard to jump around in costume and play an cartoon character.

The Boston Herald claims that Brad Pitt has been spotted carrying a high-end "Daddy Bag," The "David" by Wake. We checked out Wake's collection and compared it with pictures of Pitt carrying the bag in question, and we don't think they're the same bag.
The "David" is definitely a more feminine bag than the one Brad drapes his leather jacket over. Still, this doesn't fare well for Brad, who was called a "nanny" by a source quoted in the soon to be defunct Celebrity Living:
The report claims that Brad wants equal rights as a parent.
But another friend of the couple tells the magazine that Jolie is in charge.
"I think she calls the shots with those kids every step of the way, the 'source revealed to the magazine. The story concludes... Brad should put his foot down now before he has another full time armful.
Surely the Jolie-Pitts will have their own nannies and needn't worry about either one of them having to watch the kids if they don't want to. They're hands-on parents, though, and will do their best to be there for the children.
Meanwhile Jolie's best friend has said that Jolie was royally pissed off by Aniston's pity party on Oprah:
Tonya claims Jolie said: "Oh my God, it makes me want to throw up! She shot her mouth off and Oprah took it all in. The audience took it all in. They were all against Brad and me from that moment on. She wanted people to feel sorry for her that her marriage was down the pan. Brad and I couldn't defend ourselves.: Tonya adds: "Ange told Oprah she was extremely upset with her and wanted nothing to do with the show, even though Oprah reportedly said, 'Don't bear a grudge against me."
If that's true it's awesome and of course Jolie would think Aniston is an idiot. We wish Aniston would just shut up and go away already. Once the Jolie-Pitt baby emerges she's going to be even more miserable.

Kelly Osbourne attended the Denis Simachev fashion show in London yesterday. She hit a sour note with a chunky asymmetrical hairpiece and a fussy white cap sleeve blouse with a silly black neck tie.
Kelly has been lauded for her recent weight loss, which she says is getting her more attention from boys:
But she thinks her bad girl image is still part of the attraction: “They all just want to take me home to upset their mums because I have tattoos. They want to piss them off.”
She’s quite partial to bad boys herself though and has been linked to several rockstars and Sadie Frost’s ex, Jackson Scott: “I like bad boys. Mum goes mad.”
Osbourne was pictured with a "guest" at the fashion show, the man in a striped shirt shown below, but he may be just a guest at the show and not a guest of hers. They don't seem to be looking at each other and it's possible they were just sitting near each other.

Naomi Campbell is still working as a model after hitting her maid so hard with a cell phone that she couldn't see straight and required stitches.
Campbell was in Geneva, Switzerland yesterday working for Mont Blanc. She wore the most expensive and dangerous watch Mont Blanc has ever made. Also present was model Marcus Schenkenberg, who looked bemused. Johnny Depp and his French wife Vanessa Paradis attended the show. We will publish pictures of Depp and Paradis shortly.
Campbell's scheduled appearance on P. Diddy's celebrity cooking show has been canceled, which may or may not be related to the abuse charges against her.
Campbell also made an ironic peacekeeping visit to South Africa to meet with Netson Mandela after the incident. The press was not allowed to be present at the event.

Sean Connery arrived in a tartan-wrapped Mercedes Benz 2007 S Class to "Dress to Kilt" at NY's annual tartan week yesterday. It was Connery's first public appearance since he had a benign kidney tumor removed in early March.
"Dress to Kilt" celebrated Scottish fashion with tartan clothing and kilts modeled by celebrities. Stars on the catwalk included Bebe Neuwirth, Anne Curry, Tatum O'Neal, and Brian and Allan Cox. The Coxes lifted up their kilts to show their white bums in a picture after the jump that's NSFW. Scottish rugby player, Chris Cusiter, Scottish golf star, Sam Torrance, and the reigning miss Scotland, Aisling Friel, also modeled at the show.
Donald Trump was at the event in a bid to publicize his golf course that will soon be opened at Balmedie in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
Sir Sean Connery was accompanied by his wife of over 30 years, Lady Micheline Connery.

Nicky Hilton attended a cocktail party held by retail consulting firm Directives West in LA last night. She donned her typical black satin attire with black boots worn over jeans. Nicky needs to liven up her wardrobe a little and call in some help with her boring clothing line.

Richie is said to be considering the boring title "Nicole Richie Style" and the content is predictable:

Nicky Hilton was at AmericasMart mall in Atlanta, GA yesterday to introduce her new clothing line, which will be offered in the store Ambrosia & Co. Judging from the clothes she was wearing, it involves a lot of black satin and includes some dreaded formal shorts.
The line is described as:

Mischa Barton made a scheduled appearance at Macy's in San Francisco this week, and the brief interview she had with a reporter shows her mastery of the vague but positive interview style that older actresses like Aniston and Longoria have yet to grasp.
A: At this point, we're so different just because she goes through so much surreal stuff.
You start with some similarities but after everything she's been through, thanks to the world of television, she's grown and changed into a completely different entity. I love her as a character because I think she's truly entertaining.
Q: You and Sienna Miller are often referred to as young style icons. How do you define style?
A: It's all about individuality and having your own mark on things and not being afraid to try new things. Style is also about confidence in your clothing and the way you carry yourself.
Notice she says nothing at all about Sienna Miller when the interviewer mentions that she has been compared to the erratic actress' messy style. Barton just answers the other part of the question, and we might infer that she thinks Miller is sloppy and not on par with her level of fashion, but she simply skirts the question. She also has something nice to say about almost every question.
Proving that she's a worthy spokeperson, she later gives Keds a plug without sounding fake about it. She also acknowledges that she has a few Chanel bags, but downplays it. She doesn't brag about it or say how fabulous they are. She's more effusive about Keds than about Chanel:
A: Oh, I don't know. I probably have 15 or 20. It's not ridiculous. I probably get a bag every season from them and then I buy the ones that I really want.
Q: You embrace Keds, which is just about as far as you can get from Chanel. What is it about the canvas shoes?
A: I love them because everyone can identify with them and so many cool people have worn them over the years.
I love when you take a brand and it comes back. It has that established side to it but you can also put a new spin on it. Keds is really good at doing that. They're so open and they have so many different styles. They identify cool.
Barton has the grace, style, and intelligence to be an A-list actress and we know she will go far.
Here she is at fashion week on Thursday with David Cardona, the designer of the Bebe collection. Barton is 5'8" tall and in heels she towers over Cardona. Unlike Paris Hilton's little friend, fashion designer Louis Verdad, Cardona is actually smiling and looks like a friendly guy.
Update: Barton will be at Tilly's at the Irvine Spectrum center in Irvine, CA from 3:00 - 4:30 pm on Saturday, March 25th to promote Keds. [via]

Meanwhile Abdul was nearly fired from her job as America's favorite drunken cheerleader. Producers were said to be looking at Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears as possible replacements:
Abdul must have been a total mess if Simpson or Spears seemed like a more coherent alternative. We think the most likely reason for Abdul's retention is that her lawyers pointed out her contract to Idol producers. Rather than invite another scandal, they kept Abdul on. It will be surprising if she gets another season on the top-rated show.

Sheryl Crow made a public appearance yesterday at the Rock & Republic Fashion Show in LA. She looks to be recovering well from her breast cancer scare last month and we wish her all the best.
Crow has surprised her fans with an announcement that she will be touring this Summer:
"It is my favourite time to tour and I feel certain, for me, it will be a celebration every night of how lucky I feel with this life I have been given..."
Sheryl confirmed she would play her first gig on June 12 in Indianapolis, with her last show taking place on July 8 at Boston's Fenway Park.

"It was kind of a shock because I was like, 'How the hell does she know about me?'" Premier told Billboard about his first conversation with RCA about Aguilera’s album. "I'm one of those guys that really doesn't expect pop artists to really be up on me. My first question was, 'What does she know about me?'"
As it turned out, Aguilera was quite a fan of his production style on classic Gang Starr material like "Jazz Thing".

Paris Hilton hosted the Louis Verdad fashion show after party last night in West Hollywood. Hilton's sister Nicky and Michelle Trachtenberg were in attendance.
Trachtenberg is working on a film that is now shooting in Vancouver called Black Christmas. It is about "four sorority sisters being harassed with anonymous and terrifying calls and then killed off one by one during Christmas break." It's a remake of a classic horror movie that we've never heard of. We can't wait.
This guy Louis Verdad looks like a smug little prick. No wonder he's friends with Paris.

Carmen Electra and the Hilton sisters were photographed at Mercedes Benz L.A. Fashion Week in Culver City, CA yesterday. Matthew Perry also made an appearance sporting a cute spiky hairdo and glasses.
As we reported two days ago, Electra and Navarro are denying reports that their marriage is in trouble because they're spending time apart:
Looks like Navarro was too busy this time to sit through a fashion show for the sake of his marriage. We can't blame him.
Cults trap members into what cult expert Margaret Singer called a "closed system of logic" where only pro-cult rhetoric is permitted. Cults seek to impair and dismiss personal reasoning skills so that members can't think themselves out of the situation.
Case in point: Juliette Lewis, 32, and Kirstie Alley, 55, long term members of the cult of Scientology. Lewis, appearing with her band Juliette and the Licks at the SXSW music festival in Austin on 3/17, wore a skin tight lemon-yellow body suit with criss cross metal buttons. Alley fared slightly better while also wearing a skin tight outfit at Celebrity Fight Night 12. Alley donned a fitted lingerie slip with a lacey flared bolero jacket.
Whether these two could benefit from the psychiatric drugs forbidden by their cult is up to debate. We think they might dress better if they were simply able to think for themselves.

Courtney Love, Scott Weiland of Velvet Revolver, Michelle Tractenberg, and Ben Kingsley were among the stars at the kick-off to fashion week 2006 at Mr. Chow's in LA last night.
Love was recently linked with "Capote" director Bennett Miller, and toured with Weiland in 2004. They look cosy and may be a couple, but we doubt it.
Love will be taking advantage of her sobriety by recording again soon. Page Six reports:

The article is long-winded without mentioning a source, and this may not be true. It is characteristic of Jolie's way of announcing information to the press, though. She confirmed pregnancy rumors by letting Haitian charity Yele Haiti sell her bump pictures for $400,000 to People Magazine.
Other recent rumors swirling around the world's most famous couple include "Jolie wants an open marriage," "Jolie and Pitt to wed in Ireland," and "Pitt tries in vain not to piss off Aniston while planning wedding." None are particularly revelatory.
Julie is said to be due with the couple's first biological child in May.

Sienna Miller took some time off from attacking paparazzi to attend a benefit in her hometown of London. She is at a ball for The Starlight Children's Foundation, which grants wishes for seriously ill children.
She's helping a worthy charity and that's commendable, but she's still wearing those goddamn awful shapeless frocks. This dress at least has a partially fitted top, but that doesn't make it fashionable. Someone should seriously help her clean up her style.
Miller was just announced as the new star in a Robert De Niro film, Stardust:
While looking through the red carpet photo gallery at Yahoo! I came across this picture of a woman who clearly does not belong at the Oscars. Her look is so outrageous that I'm not sure whether she would frighten or entertain my child.
She is fashion and jewelry designer Zandra Rhodes. Why is it that fashion designers are the ones that dress the worst? They must be the type of people who think they actually look good, and they're so sure of it they've made a career out of convincing other people to dress like idiots too.
Charlize Theron usually looks elegant and understated and her Oscar look is out of character. She's wearing a monstrous green gown with a huge bow on her shoulder. With a little purse made out of the same fabric, bejewled shoes, bangle bracelets, and a bouffant hairdo, she just looks like she's trying too hard.
There's a fine line between looking the same all the time (Jennifer Aniston) and trying a radical new look that isn't right for you.

Not only do designers create custom-made gowns hoping to dress a fickle actress, Oscar attendees can even get paid to wear specific brands:
