Reader Angelika alerted me to a post on PerezHilton's site that claimed that Dave Navarro was putting the blocks to America's favorite former porn star Jenna Jameson. I said I'd wait until the story got picked up by other news outlets, but it's true and I shouldn't have waited.
TMZ reports that they contacted Jenna's publicist and she confirmed their relationship:
I must say this is a nice score for Dave. It would be tough for Dave to find anyone to replace firecracker Carmen, but from what I've seen, ahem, I mean "heard" Jenna is up to the task.
Yeah, I can't wait until these two go out in public and are photographed together. No wonder Jenna's husband is abusing strippers. He's pissed that she left him!
Carmen won't be happy to hear about Dave's latest hookup, but rumor has it that Carmen and Dave were split for months before they announced their divorce.

Jessica Simpson still looks pretty good when she's not wearing ill-advised black sack dresses. Star Magazine claims she's gained 20 pounds, though, and even fan site Sweetkisses.net says she's sporting a fuller figure. She still looks gorgeous and what's wrong with a starlet who's a size 8?
While The National Ledger claims Star Magazine says that Jessica is dating newly single Scrubs star Zach Braff and that she's seen him on both the East and West coast, The Scoop reports that the same article has Jessica fending off his advances:
In fact, none of the string of hotties the former “Newlyweds” star has been linked with is panning out. She “blindsided” her “Employee of the Month” co-star, Dane Cook, by calling him on June 22 and saying they should go their separate ways, according to the Star. Spokespeople for the two have denied that they were ever an item, but gossips insist that they’ve secretly dated. And Simpson’s fling with Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine has apparently flopped.
“Jessica is lonely and needy,” a source tells Star. “She’s having a hard time dealing with the fact that [ex-husband] Nick [Lachey] is in love [with MTV’s Vanessa Minnillo].”
It's too bad that she's single and lonely, but she let Nick slip through her fingers and maybe she'll be more mature about her relationships in the future.
In the August UK edition of Ok! Magazine, Jessica says she loves her curves and that she enjoys eating. She also says that she does Pilates to stay in shape and that she doesn't want to bulk up like former wrestling star Chyna. (That's a myth since weight training helps you stay slender and toned, and is a more effective way to shape your body than aerobics.)

Star Magazine reports this week that Matthew McConaughy called Jennifer Aniston in a not-so-subtle attempt to get her to go out with him.
A friend of Matt’s then tells Star Magazine, “He doesn't give up when he has his eye on someone. He’s figuring out his next move.”
Jennifer's rep denied that she received a call from McConaughy, but it could be true. If it really happened, it doesn't mean McConaughy was serious about it. He may have just wanted the publicity so that he can stem some of the rumors that he's enjoying Lance and Jake's company in every way possible. It was a pretty slick move on his part, considering he picked an actress who's technically unavailable, but hasn't gone public with her relationship.
Aniston seems to be having a hard time in her relationship with bloated paramour Vince Vaughn. While it was rumored last week that they broke up, that doesn't seem true since Vince was spotted out with Aniston and was seen leaving her house. Poor Aniston has bought a new dog to keep her company while she waits for a commitment from Vince that will never come. Maybe she should have gone out with McConaughy. At least it would have made Vince jealous.

People reports that Mischa Barton was seen out holding hands with a new guy in London recently, which may signify the end of her stormy relationshiop with Whitestarr frontman and all-around suspicious character Cisco Adler.
Mischa has hooked up with Rugby star Mark Robinson, also known as "Sharky" of the Northampton Saints. Robinson is from New Zealand so he's got to have the sexiest accent:
The 20-year-old British-born actress had been dating rocker Cisco Adler but reportedly hooked up with the 30-year-old sportsman at a swanky bash in Windsor, England.
An onlooker at the party tells Britain's the News of the World, "Mark couldn't believe his luck. One minute they were standing there talking and the next they were all over each other in the corner of the tent. They were (kissing) and running their hands over each other's bodies. They didn't seem to care who saw."
A close friend of Robinson adds, "He's been smiling all week and has told pals but won't talk publicly."
As Mischa matures, so does her taste in men. Cisco seems like a decent guy, considering how he spoke candidly in her defense when Paris talked trash about her, but he doesn't seem like he's in Mischa's league.
There's also a report that Mischa snubbed British comic Russell Brand, who was briefly linked with Kate Moss. Brand tried to hit on Barton at a London club recently, but she wasn't having it.
Barton won't have much time to spend with her new sportsman this week. She flew into Australia on Sunday to help promote designer David Jones' summer collection.

Update: I'm not sure Mischa is shown with Mark Robinson, because the guy she's holding hands with doesn't look exactly like the pictures I've seen of the rugby player. She hooked up with Robinson according to sources, but whether that's the same guy in the photo with her is up to debate.

Kiwi rugby player. I work with the information I have at the time, people! It's like 6 hours later here, so I'm looking at the gossip at 2:00 AM EST. Sometimes it's fresh, most of the time it's green and not ripe enough to pick.
Woody Allen's French nanny was summoned to Colin Farrell's hotel room for some awkward quickies before the London premiere of "Miami Vice." She says he's got a small dick and that he really sucks in bed. He made love to her three times in just an hour and a half. He invited her to the premiere and after party, but she left once she saw that he was getting cosy with Gong Li:
"Moments later he kissed me hard on the mouth, grabbed me and threw me on to the bed. He tore at my clothes and kept saying how beautiful I was. When I was naked, he ran his eyes up and down my body, gasping with pleasure." The couple made love on the bed, against the bathroom wall and in the shower.

Despite Colin's bad-boy reputation - the Dublin-born actor once told Playboy magazine: "I've always been a firm believer that casual sex is a good thing" - Angelique says he seemed nervous, clumsy and unsure.

The best part is that she compared him to James Blunt. That's so nasty that Colin didn't wear protection!

It sounds like this woman is bitter than Colin didn't contact her again and hooked up with Gong Li instead. I believe her, though. Colin sounds like a teenager with no staying power. Maybe he'll be embarassed enough by this story to use a condom and some manners next time.

Tara Reid squeezed some hapless bearded man in between her ankles while out for a swim. She might have been on vacation from her life of drinking and showing up at events, but it was probably just a day at the beach since she was seen at an X-Games kickoff party on 8/2.
The Chic Mommy has an hilarious Tara Reid interview, in which she says her "hooters are under control." They were making most of it up though. Sky.co.uk had the original from an FHM interview back in February, and it has some real gems:
"I just bought my parents a house on the beach, three houses from mine.
"I'm sensitive and I care what people write about me. I don't like that they make me look like an idiot. I'm not an idiot.

The girl's face looks like wax, but she's actually quite pretty when she cleans up. Tara serves as a good example for why one should stay off the juice.

Newly divorced Eddie Murphy and former Spice girl Melanie B., aka Scary Spice, have been dating a little over a month. They've already gotten tattoos with each other's names on them, and now they're planning on doing something a little less permanent to seal their relationship. Rumor has it they're planning on getting married this September in LA:
However, the pair have drawn up a star-studded guest list, which includes Whitney Houston, for their wedding party.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Mel just wants her and Eddie's close family to be there for the simple blessing.
"But they will be inviting their friends to a lavish wedding breakfast reception at the venue afterwards."
Both Mel and the 'Shrek' star have been married before.
Murphy divorced his wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy - who he has five children with - in May after 12 years of marriage.
Mel - better known as Scary Spice during her time in the Spice Girls - married dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998 but the couple divorced three years later. They have a seven-year-old daughter Phoenix-Chi.
Marrying someone less than a year after meeting them usually means the relationship is doomed - especially in Hollywood. This is not going to last, and if Murphy has any cash left from the 90s Scary is going to do well in the settlement.

Remember the skinny weird guy who played Hugh Grant's roommate in "Notting Hill?" His name is Rhys Ifans and Lindsay Lohan is supposedly dating him now. That Taco chain owner had got to be relieved:
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Falling for Rhys was really the icing on the cake for Lindsay. She already loves hanging out with Kate in London.
"One of the reasons Rhys appealed is that he's so quirky, bright and refreshing."
The flame-haired actress is apparently so infatuated with her new love, who is 17 years her senior, that she is planning to splash out on a London property so she can be closer to him.
Lohan, 20, is also keen on buying a pad in the UK capital because she can legally drink in Britain.
The source added: "Lindsay is branded a hellraiser in the US because the legal drinking age is 21.
"So it's an amazing relief to be in England where things are more liberal. She loves that it's different here."
When I was underage I used a lookalike's driver's license to drink because I was resourceful like that. I also wasn't dumb enough to tell guys I liked them or blab about it so they would hear. Lohan said last week "There is a boy I like. I'm sure people will start writing about him soon. He lives in London. It's so hard!"
Maybe she thought she was clever by not mentioning his name, but now a few guys who live in London are cringing at the thought of Lindsay moving into their city. They probably thought it was just a bit of fun, and now Lindsay's going to be coming around with hoards of paparrazi to ruin their relatively low-key lifestyle.

Selma Blair just announced that she's divorcing her husband of two years, Ahmet Zappa. Yesterday she was photographed at a beach in Malibu with P. Diddy, so it looks like she's moving on in style. She could do worse than to hook up with the hip-hop mogul. Hopefully she gets a Brazilian once a week, because Diddy doesn't like his ladies hairy.
Diddy is working on another reality show after the failure of his "Cooking with Celebrities" series. He will be coaching young women he's picked for an all-girl band in latest season of "Making the Band."

Charlie Sheen, 40, is dating 28-year-old real estate investor Brooke Wolofsky. Sheen brought Wolofsky as his date to the 2006 Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles this weekend. His publicist confirmed their relationship:
Sheen's new woman is a 28-year-old real estate investor.
The actor's publicist, Stan Rosenfeld, has confirmed his client is dating Wolofsky, adding, "They make a very happy couple."
That's good for Sheen, and hopefully it will last for him. Now that his ex Denise Richards has shown what an attention whore she is I don't like her at all, and am kind of siding with him in the divorce.
Richards defended the fact that she's dating and possibly engaged to BonJovi guitarist Richie Sambora, saying that Heather Locklear wasn't really her best friend and that you can't help it when you fall in love:
She confesses that dealing with the rumors hasn't been easy. "The thing with Heather, that's been hard ... you know you can't help who you fall for and that friendship, unfortunately, was done and wasn't salvageable."
She says, "People have gone on. ... Would you date your best [friend's husband]? You know she wasn't my best friend. She was a close friend in the last couple of years -- I hadn't known her my whole life [like] people [are] portraying this."
She finishes, "[It's] been tough having people think that I'm such a crappy friend -- because if we were friends I wouldn't be in this situation."
On rumors that she and Richie got together before their respective marriages were kaput, Denise says, "I get why people have been hurt in this situation -- you know, it's not good but it is what it is." But she stresses that both her and Richie's former relationships were over before they got together: "We didn't meddle in marriages and anything like that ... I wish everyone in this whole ugly situation the best and at the end of the day, it's not just two couples, there's children involved. And that's what's hard. My girls can't read these tabloids. Their daughter (Richie and Heather's) can. So that's hard too."
She's full of shit and that's lousy to say "oh, I wasn't that close to Heather anyway." She shouldn't go on so much about it, and just looks as desperate as she did when she dressed like a slutty majorette to perform with the PussyCat Dolls.
Here are Sheen and Wolofsky. She looks like a decent person and we'll have to see how it turns out. If she has some of the same problems with Charlie that Denise did, we'll rethink our opinion of him. He's not a saint, but he's probably not as bad as Denise makes out.
Nick Lachey hooked up with MTV VJ and former fling Vanessa Minnillo in Atlantic City after meeting up with her at a club on Sunday night. They left together and things must have heated up quickly for the pair, because they were then spotted in Mexico together according to PerezHilton:
Not only did they get freaky at the Borgota Hotel this weekend but they also just took a romantic getaway together to an exclusive resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
It is difficult to tell whether they were in Mexico first and planned to meet up at the club, or if they met in Atlantic City and promptly jetted off to the vacation spot. Either way, it looks like they're back together and that this means curtains for Nick's relationship with stylist Kim Kardashian.
Kardashian, who was linked to Nick after a romantic movie date on May 24th, has been seen out shopping and attending events with Paris Hilton. Her friendship with the flightly self-centered heiress couldn't have helped her relationship with Lachey, whose friends thought Kardshian's status as an outsider from the usual Hollywood circle was part of what made her attractive to Lachey. Kardashian's gorgeous looks couldn't have hurt, either.
This is also bad news for poor Jessica Simpson. She seems to have come to terms with the fact that it's over between her and Nick, because she may have approved of his relationship with Kardashian. Jessica reportedly sent her best friend and ex-assistant Cacee Cobb to check out Kardashian for her, and Cacee is said to have called Kim "nice." Nick and Jessica's divorce may be final on June 17th, and it looks like Nick is moving on with style.

Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton made up at a party, with Paris later calling Lindsay "sexy" for good measure. Lindsay may have also made up with her verbal attacker, Brandon Davis, in spades, because his grandmother claims she's dating him:
At sappy saxophonist Kenny G's birthday party in Malibu Saturday, Barbara [Brandon Davis' grandmother] was overheard inexplicably telling party guests, "Brandon is dating Lindsay now!" A rep for Barbara agreed, telling Page Six that Brandon took Lohan out to dinner last weekend.
But chief Lohan-dler Leslie Sloane responds that Davis has gone daffy: "It is unfortunate that Barbara Davis is desperate enough to make up a lie about Lindsay dating her grandson.
"Lindsay took the high road and accepted Brandon's apology last week, but they are not dating and they did not go to dinner together.Lindsay is dating several men who live overseas." (That's several men, lest any of Lohan's foreign suitors think they have the freckle-faced phenom all to themselves.)

Kim, 25, attended the "Entourage" LA premiere on 6/1 wearing the overpriced but discounted shoes. She was hanging out with Paris Hilton at the event. She is dating Nick Lachey and is the daughter of O.J. Simpson lawyer, Robert Kardashian.

You've probably already heard that Nick Lachey took Kimberly Kardashian, the daughter of OJ SImpson lawyer Robert Kardashian, 25, out to see the DaVinci Code on May 24th. It seemed to be a serious date, and Lachey is said to be enamored with Kardashian.

About six weeks ago, we reported that Colin Farrel was dating Lake Bell, 27, his co-star in "Pride and Glory," now filming. It seems that the relationship is going well and people are saying that Farrel is ready to marry Bell.
The notoriously wild actor is reportedly ready to get hitched to his “Pride and Glory” co-star Lake Bell. The two have been dating for two months.
“Colin is a changed man since he went into rehab in December and he wants to find someone to settle down with,” a source told the Irish Mirror. “In the last five years he’s found it hard to settle down but he says that Lake has been his rock and he can’t live without her.” His rep couldn’t be reached for comment.
Farrell just got sober and he turns 30 tomorrow. He has a hard-partying past and it would be surprising if the marriage lasted if he rushed into it after just two months of dating. He may be ready to settle down, but he should try a long commitment first. Not that we're discouraging Farrell - it would be pretty amusing to see him married with such little forethought.

Doherty has vowed to get sober to keep her affections, and is headed to a clinic to take drastic measures:

Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey may be ready for a reconciliation. Mike Walker of the National Enquirer reports that they have been meeting up secretly at out-of-the-way hotels in the San Fernando Valley:

"We still have our problems, but we're still very attached to each other." She continued, according to the source by adding "We still have the need for love and affection."

Let's hope that Simpson has realized what she's been missing and that she'll grow up enough to weather the storms that come up in every long term relationship.

You've probably heard that Denise Richards and Heather Locklear had a falling out over the fact that Denise is dating Heather's ex, Richie Sambora.
It turns out that they were best friends and lived right next door to each other LA. They also shared an on-screen girl-on-girl kiss in Locklear's show Spin City
Heather told Denise she was dead to her after learning of Denise's affair with her estranged husband:
She reportedly even went so far as to ask if Richards and Sambora were having an affair, and Denise — who hadn't slept with him yet — was too stunned to answer, prompting Locklear to proclaim, according to a source, "Well, I think you've answered the question. I never want to see you again."
She reportedly concluded, "You no longer exist to me. It's like you've died."
Meow! Locklear can be as much as a bitch as the characters she portrays. Locklear suprised Sambora with divorce papers this February after 11 years of marriage. She is said to have discovered an e-mail sent to Sambora by a former assistant who enclosed nude pictures of herself. Locklear may be dating David Spade now, but there's not a lot of evidence and Spade denies the relationship.
Denise Richards filed for divorce from Charlie Sheen in March after a tumultuous relationship. She alleges that Sheen threatened to kill her and was addicted to gambling, pain pills, and porn.

Pauly Shore and Kylie Minogue dated for a short time after they met on the set of his 1997 movie, Biodome, which Minogue has called her "worst career move." The two didn't last once Minogue figured out who Shore was and went back to England, and Shore is still crying into his beer over it:
The couple spent a romantic holiday in the Bahamas together, and then Shore took the singer to Las Vegas for the first time. He adds, "She loved it because it was so cheesy. She was like laughing at the whole thing."

Shore had somewhat of a comeback with the indie flick "Pauly Shore is Dead" that came out in 2004, and a 2005 TBS reality show, Minding the Store that centered around Shore trying to run his family's comedy club.

We dug around for these pictures of the new guy that Sienna Miller is supposedly seeing, Nico Malleville. Nico is an Argentinian-born model who has appeared in ads for DKNY and Burberry, and who owns several hotels. He might not be dumb, but he has to have something wrong with him in order to hookup with Sienna.
Supposedly they met a few years ago and spent a vacation in Mexico together just two weeks ago:

Perez Hilton claims to have inside information from an Us staffer who says an upcoming issue of the gossip magazine will include details of the new romance between Heather Locklear and short comedian David Spade:
According to Us, Spade has quietly been dating recently separated Heather Locklear.

So, we don't know why it's news that Anderson visited a MAC makeup store in Halifax, Nova Scotia today, but it has something to do with the fact that she's hosting Canada's Juno awards this Sunday. Anderson is a native Canadian and the Junos are Canada's version of the Grammys.

Anderson was photographed two weeks ago getting all kissy-face with real estate mogul, Laurence Hallier. He looked annoyed with her in the pictures of them together. Guess he stuck around long enough to convince her to buy a pricey Vegas condo and split.
Sienna Miller, 24, has now either moved on from her flash-in-the-pan relationship with Hayden Christensen, 24, or is hedging her bets, because she's now hooking up with Keira Knightly's ex, Jamie Dornan. Keira can't just let Sienna drive the guy off with her smoking and excessive drinking - she has to warn her about him and is probably making matters worse:
Keira... allegedly told Sienna the Irish hunk wouldn't be able to handle her success. A source is quoted in Daily Star newspaper as saying: "Keira went through hell with Jamie, because he couldn't deal with her fame.
"She's dating Rupert Friend now. But she was horrified when she heard Sienna has enjoyed a series of dates with Jamie. She likes Sienna and doesn't want to see her make the same mistakes."
Knightly is a nosy bitch and she can't stand to see Sienna enjoying her leftovers. She needs to mind her own business and STFU.
Knightly, 23, was with Dornan on and off for about two years. The two split up in August of last year. She has been dating fellow British actor Rupert Friend, 24, for about two months and just moved in with him.

TMZ has an audio excerpt from an interview with Dane Cook, the comedian starring with Jessica Simpson in her new film, "Employee of the Month," that is now filming in New Mexico. US Weekly ran a cover story this week implying that Simpson and Cook are a new item.
In the interview on Vegas radio station Mix 94.1, Cook denies dating Simpson, says he has a girlfriend, and reveals that his nickname forJessica is "Special K":

We reported a couple days ago that the rumor that DiCaprio and Lohan were an item sounded bogus to us. It may have been a brief fling, but if something happened both of them seem to have moved on.
Are Matthew Perry and Kristin Davis together? It was just a few days ago that we heard that he was with Coyote Ugly star Piper Perabo, so if this is true he must be a busy man:
(Davis was tied to Steve Martin after pictures of what looked like Davis frolicking on the beach with Martin came out. It turns out the brunette in the pictures was Anne Stringfield, a writer for the New Yorker who bears a strong resemblance to Davis.)
It would be great to see some pictures of these two together - they would make quite a cute couple.

Life and Style weekly reports that Lindsay Lohan was recently spotted with young Jamie Burke, the 20 year-old singer that Kate Moss took to Aspen last Christmas. 
The rag tries to manufacture a conflict between the friends over Burke, but we doubt Moss - or Lohan - cares:
Reportedly - it's not really serious - but he has been spotted leaving Kate's Aspen suite.
Now without Kate knowing, la Lohan and model Jamie Burke are getting serious according to the item in the magazine. Citing an insider, the report dishes that Jamie recently spent the night at Lindsay's suite at the NY 60 hotel Thompson.
Kate seems to want to reconcile with Pete Doherty after he declared his undying love on the windshield of one of his many secondhand Jaguars, and she has probably forgotten about Jamie. Maybe she even lent Jamie to Lindsay as part of her compaign to help Lindsay get sober.
The source where we got the news says that Lohan has been tied to Leonard DiCaprio lately, but as we mentioned earlier, we doubt that's true.

Teri Hatcher and Ryan Seacrest were photographed making out on a Malibu beach. Teri Hatcher doesn't seem dumb enough not to be in on the joke, although she did expect Clooney to stick around and then used her painful past to get back at him, so she's not that bright overall. Still, she can't be as delusional as Zellweger, and chances are that she's getting something out of this other than bad publicity.
An eyewitness says Hatcher and Seacrest were "very animated" which is code for "very bad actors":
“Teri frequently laughed loudly at Ryan’s jokes,” says an onlooker. “They were very animated with each other.”

"Singer" James Blunt denied yesterday's rumors of his affair with British socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson. Tomkinson played coy, seeming to suggest the rumors are true:

Blunt's girlfriend Camilla Boler, the inspiration for that terrible song "You're Beautiful," revealed how stupid she has to be to date him by stating that she believes him:
We just hope this latest drama doesn't inspire Blunt to write a song. With the news that his producer is suing him and will no longer rework his simplistic songs, it's sure to be god-awful.

People reports that Nick Lachey has gone out on a date with MTV VJ Vanessa Minnillo:
A source says Lachey, 32, and Minnillo, 25, were doing an R-rated bump-and-grind. “I saw tongues on skin,” says the source.
The next night, the pair dined with friends at Fiamma in SoHo then went on to hotel 60 Thompson.
The couple got close when Minnillo recently shot a part in Lachey's upcoming video.
That's good news for Lachey and we hope it turns into something serious. Star is reporting that Nick and Jessica got back together, but we doubt it. We think it's more like Jessica is bugging the shit out of Nick and he's taking it because he's a nice guy.
Well, Kristen Cavallari has burned up her 15 minutes. She can't even get into Mood, her favorite nightclub in LA, now that they're checking IDs after a recent bust. She probably wishes she had given Lachey more of a chance.

This is not the first time we've heard this rumor. DiCaprio was said to have visited Lohan in the hospital back in early January when she had an asthma attack. (Remember to breathe girl. Sorry we couldn't resist.)
Now the rumor that Linday Lohan and Leonardo DiCaprio are an item is being recycled again:
"They wanted to keep it a secret just because it's more fun that way."
The pair hooked up at a New Year's Eve party hosted by Lindsay in Miami. They have being seeing each other ever since - despite the 12 year age gap - and friends say they are helping each other get over their recent break-ups...
A friend of the pair said: "They had both come out of recent relationships so it was the perfect timing for both of them. Friends wouldn't be surprised if they settle down."
Photographers follow Lindsay Lohan around everywhere, so if she's had even one secret meeting with Leonardo DiCaprio it seems like someone, somewhere would have a picture or more details than this. We don't buy this story, but it's hard to ignore it.
Plus we couldn't find the actual article on the News of the World website, so it's possible one of the aggregate gossip sites is just reprinting very old news.

Tara Reid was seen out in LA this weekend heading to a club with a new guy. No one at the JJB bulletin board where I found the picture knew who he was, so his identity will remain a mystery for an hour or two until an eagle-eyed blogger identifies him.
Lindsay Lohan hates to be compared to the often visibly-soused Reid. Lohan has said that she doesn't want her constant partying to jeopardize her career:

Stacy Keibler of "Dancing with the Stars" says that she just "loves" Nick Lachey and wants to make sure the soon-to-be-divorced crooner is not lonely:
Extra TV reported on Thursday night that Nick (one of the most eligible bachelors in Hollywood) has picked up his own personal cupid: "Dancing with the Stars" stunner Stacy Keibler.
Keibler told designers Chip and Pepper that she's looking to make a love connection. "I'm trying to get Nick a good, quality girl," she said.
"I love him. I think he's a fantastic, great guy."
Lachey may have been hurt that Kristin Cavalleri was spotted making out with her ex this weekend while Lachey was away promoting his new single, as we reported yesterday. Lachey was said to have dated Cavalleri, although the Laguna Beach star denies it.

Female First says that Cher, 59, is dating 40 year-old Lee Tergesen who will soon appear in a cameo on Desperate Housewives. The two were seen out at Nobu on March 6th:
At the Agent Provocateur fashion show on 3/21, Cher was not shy about putting her arm around a different guy, Richard Stark of the band Goth store chain Chrome Hearts.
It could be a case of mistaken identity as Tergensen and Stark look strikingly similar. We think Cher just likes the Skeletor type, and is making the most of her time in retirement.
Update: Cityrag reveals that Stark is married and that he wife is a "friend" of Cher's.
Amanda Bynes, 19, and Channing Tatum, 25, currently star in the movie "She's the Man" together and also seem to be dating. Bynes and Tatum were photographed kissing and embracing. Bynes is seen placing her hand casually on Tatum's stomach.
Tatum has his biggest film role as Duke in "She's the Man." He was was previously featured in "Havoc" and "Supercross." Now that he's dating Bynes he's sure to get more recognition.

Knightly was briefly tied to actor Jake Gyllenhaal after the two were seen out in LA together earlier this month. Gyllenhaal is rumored to be gay, and the two are most likely just friends.
Keira is moving into her boyfriend's small apartment because her current place reminds her too much of her ex and she wants to escape the paparrazi:
A source told Britain's News of the World newspaper: "They are so in love it seemed only natural for them to want to be with each other.
"They thought about Rupert moving into Keira's place but it's full of memories of her ex, Jamie Dornan.
"Also, Keira feels more anonymous in the area where Rupert lives."

Mischa Barton's ex, oil heir on a budget Brandon Davis, is said to be romancing Camilla al-Fayed, the daughter of Harrods mogul Mohamed al-Fayed. Page Six reports:
Davis split with Mischa Barton in the spring of 2005 after nearly a year of public dating.
Perez had this story a month ago, and details that Davis plans to buy a place in London to be closer to Al-Fayed.
Davis famously called his former friend Paris Hilton a "racist" and an "idiot" after she was caught on tape using the "N" word. He seems like a good guy.

"She's really worried that he's going off the rails and feels a quiet, romantic break away from prying eyes is exactly what he needs."
Kate is said to be planning the trip because she wants to avoid the press. She is afraid of jeopardizing her newfound success if her reconciliation with Pete goes public.

Last week's pictures of Eva Mendez and Joaquin Phoenix getting into a car sparked rumors that they were an item. Most people dismissed the idea that they were a couple since they're working on a film together. Now that they've been spotted together at least twice, there seems to be a real romance blooming:

Renee Zellweger is said to have asked her costar in an upcoming film to take her out to dinner. The article makes it sound like she just wants to sample some of the food and atmosphere in England where they're filming:
The pair are said to be planning to sample some typical English fayre at Manchester's famous Mr Thomas's Crop House as soon as Renee finishes shooting.
A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "Renee and Chris have been pals for years but because they email or phone, no one realised.
"They met while he was promoting '28 Days Later' about four years ago. Renee is really cool and down to earth and they stayed in touch."
Zellweger and Eccleston starred together in the 1999 film A Price above Rubies, so they met over six years ago actually and it's not surprising that they're friends. We hope it turns into something more.

Bruce Willis may have stood up Petra Nemcova at the premiere of V for Vendetta. Nemcova said her "friend" was supposed to attend the premiere but was dissapointed that he did not come. Nemcova and Wilils are said to have spent last weekend together in Atlantic City.
Meanwhile Willis is suing Page Six for reporting that he pestered Nemcova and made a sizeable donation to her tsunami charity in order to get a first date. Maybe he didn't show up at the premiere for fear of jeaopardizing his lawsuit.

In our first trial of the new Gawker Stalker, which combines Google maps with celebrity sightings sent to Gawker, we found this juicy bit of gossip about Uma's latest location, poor choice of headwear, and possible reconciliation with her ex, hotelier Andrew Balazs:
Gawker Stalker is clever, but not easy to use. A celebrity's name and their listed location are both links which launch a new window with a google image search. The sighting report is available by closing the new window to return to Stalker or by clicking the sighting date and time, which are not obvious links. Maybe Gawker hopes to protect celebrities' privacy with distracting features and bad usability.
Update: Either Gawker has fixed some of the usability issues with Stalker maps or I'm used to it, because it's easier to use now. The dates no longer link to a google image search and the sighting report is listed beside each celebrity prior to using the map.

British rag "News of the World," not know for its accuracy, is reporting that Pete Doherty and Kate Moss are back together and that Kate has given Pete the key to her place:
"Pete's like a love-sick teenager all over again.
Kate's laid down some ground rules though. My source close to the model, 32, revealed: "She's told Doherty he has four weeks to show her he can keep out of trouble and away from drugs. She is worried about being tarnished with unpredictable Pete just when everything's on the right track with her career and daughter."
If this is true I would really, really like to see pictures. It seems unlikely since the press follow Moss everywhere and there's no evidence yet. However, it does explain Doherty's scrawled message of love to Kate as he left a court appearance in London this week.

Mary-Kate Olsen has reunited with her ex-boyfriend, David Katzenberg. Katzenberg is the son of Dreamwork's head Jeffrey Katzenberg. They were together for nine months in 2004, and broke up when Olsen dumped Katzenberg for Stavros Niarchos III. Niarchos is now dating Paris Hilton.
According to Sky Showbiz, Katzenberg adores Olsen and plans to propose to her. Olsen may be reluctant to accept, however:
"He's totally gone! He said he knows he wants to marry Mary-Kate and have children with her, and he's just trying to build up to the right moment to ask her...
"Mary-Kate's happy to be back with him again and is enjoying his company, but I don't think she's ready for marriage or anything just yet."
Katzenberg was so crazy about Olsen after they broke up in 2004 that he flew to LA and went to places she hangs out hoping to run into her.
Mary Kate was solo at a party Tom Arnold threw last night in Beverly Hills. Tom was honoring his real estate agent, Stephen Shapiro. (We are assuming that Shapiro is Tom's real estate agent based on some scant information we found. If we are wrong, please let us know.)

Mariah Carey, 35, holds hands with Pharrell Williams, the successful 32 year-old lead vocalist of NERD, as they leave Paris. Although their relationship looks more than just professional they were shooting "The Say Something" video together a couple days ago. Late last month Mariah was said to be dating NY-based rapper Cam'ron.
Mariah says in the March issue of Marie Claire that the rumors of her 2001 breakdown were false and she was simply overworked:
Mariah must have forgotten that her publicist confirmed that she was "under psychiatric care" at the time.

Pamela Anderson was photographed in London last night with Laurence Hallier, who is supposedly her new boyfriend. Hallier is a real estate developer who owns the recently constructed Panarama Towers overlooking the Las Vegas strip. Leonardo DiCaprio owns a new condo there, and other well-heeled residents will be moving in this summer.
Anderson looks drunk in these pictures and Hallier seems annoyed at her. He may be well off, but he doesn't look like the rocker or model types she normally dates. We'll be surprised if we hear much more about it.

Mischa Barton and (ex?) boyfriend, Whitestarr singer Cisco Adler, were photographed together in LA on March 6th. On February 26th, Page Six reported that the two had split, although there was no confirmation or announcement. Mischa was reportedly excited to get Jake Gyllenhaal's number at the time.
Adler has since defended Mischa in her press-fueled war of the words with Paris Hilton:
