Edward Norton calls the Oscars an orgy
Edward Norton has likened the Oscars and Golden Globes to orgies.
His quotes reveal his anger at the fact that he hasn't had a critically or commercially successful movie in years:
The award shows just f**king rude me out.. the whole the thing that goes on between November and March is like an orgy. It's out of control. It's that totally disproportionate elevation of the artist and it's gross. I start to go, 'I should do something else.'"
The Oscars were pretty unwatchable this year, but that doesn't give Norton license to trash them. Maybe he
should go do something else. We forgot about him a while ago, anyway.
