Russell Crowe is too much of a diva for Baz Luhrman

Russell Crowe has been passed up for the lead in a Baz Luhrman film starring Nicole Kidman after demanding to approve the script before signing the contract. The film's producers had second thoughts about Crowe during the delay and decided to hire Heath Ledger for the project instead.
