Lindsay Lohan probably thinks it's cute or whatever to wear her Pink Taco boyfriend's undershirt out in public for all the paparrazi to see. She could have fit one of those white diaphanous shirts she likes to wear into one of her giant purses for the day after, but it was already stuffed full with three bikinis.
Lohan is probably going to have to give a statement in the suit against her mother, Dina, who is being sued for switching Lohan's record label to get a more high-profile deal. Now that Lohan's music and acting career is taking a nosedive, that settlement is going to be worth a lot less.
Here is Lohan looking all busy and unable to balance her accessories while gleefully showing off her store-bought goodies. Her shirt isn't as see-through as Jessica Simpson's, but she's working with what was in her boyfriend's closet.

"You, Me, and Dupree" is not doing so bad at the box office, and is in fourth place on its second weekend out. "Pirates" is still kicking ass at first place, of course. "You Me, and Dupree" is supposed to royally suck, though, and is getting panned by critics.
Kate Hudson won a recent libel award from the British arm of The National Enquirer. Celebrities sue the British and Irish offshoots of US gossip magazines to get around US libel laws, which shield publications from damages unless it can be proven that they acted from malice. (So basically the US gossip rags can make shit up and no one can sue them.) Britney Spears is now suing 8 gossip magazines from offshore in the hopes of scoring some cash to feed her estranged husband's fast lifestyle.
Hudson was refuting a report that she was dangerously thin and that her mother, Goldie Hawn, was worried for her health. She won an undisclosed settlement from the magazine.
Here is Hudson looking like an elf at the July 23rd Australian premiere of "You, Me, and Dupree" with annoying Owen Wilson. She shouldn't wear her hair back because it certainly isn't flattering to her face. [via]

Britney Spears claims the glowing happy pictures that came out in US Weekly of her posing with Kevin were, like, totally stolen. She's said to be "evaluating legal options" against the magazine. You know that Britney released the photos herself after her "Dateline" debacle, and is just saying that to make it seem like they're really stolen:
Her record label Jive said the photos were stolen and that Spears and husband Kevin Federline were "evaluating all of their legal options".
The statement said the photos were stolen by "an unknown perpetrator" and printed by Us Weekly magazine without the couple's "knowledge or consent".
We seriously doubt this is true because the pictures are all cute and seem to come at a time when she needs good publicity and wants to make it seem as if everything is fine in her marriage. It's also seems like too much of a coincidence when compared with the recently leaked Brangelina baby shower pics.
Reader Missy notes that Britney and Kevin may look happy and privileged in these pictures taken on a private jet, but that Kevin is suspiciously hiding his ring finger. Someone must have "forgotten" to wear their wedding ring.

You've undoubtedly heard about the Brangelina baby shower pics that were released to a few blogs and media outlets with the promise of 450 more. It turns out that Angelina's kissing brother, James Haven, took his camera to BestBuy in LA but forgot to remove the memory card. BestBuy outsourced the job to Precision Camera in Enfield, Connecticut, where two guys thought they hit the jackpot. They might have, if they would have been smart enough to take basic precautions like using a proxy server and an anonymous e-mail address. Instead they used an easily traceable account and the feds raided their place of employment and one of their homes to recover the pictures. They probably would have been caught anyway, but it might have taken a couple of extra days.
They dodged a legal bullet since it was determined they didn't do anything illegal:
“I work at Precision and hopefully I’ll still work there tomorrow,” said Beckwith, a stocky man in his early 20s with tribal tattoos on his shoulders and arms. “They questioned people at work.”
Pressed for more details, Beckwith said, “You’ll have to talk to Bill about that,” referring to Keyes. Westfield cops and Secret Service agents from Boston, working at the request of LAPD detectives and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, raided Keyes’ home Tuesday night and recovered the images, which have been returned to Pitt and Jolie, sources said.
“We were looking for the memory stick from the camera. We got it. We got the pictures. We got everything,” a law enforcement source said.
Westfield police said the men violated no Massachusetts laws but may be charged in California, which has anti-paparazzi measures on the books.
What I want to know is why the secret service got involved in a stupid celebrity photo leak case. How much taypayer money did that cost?
The two guyswho leaked the pictures, Bill Keyes, 36, and Adam Beckwith, 20 something, may not be arrested or charged, but Brangelina's lawyers are out for blood and they're going to get them to pay. Hopefully they'll get some decent pro bono support and will be able to avoid being sued.
Here are the Brangelina baby shower pics.

J.Lo's first ex husband, Ojani Noa, is unable to publish a tell-all book about their relationship now that Lopez won a case against him publishing the book. He signed a confidentiality agreement with Lopez in late 2005 as part of his settlement payout for a breach of contract lawsuit against her. Noa claimed that Lopez had him unfairly fired from his manager position at her Pasadena restaurant, Madre's.
In April Noa told Lopez's attorneys that he'd put the book out unless she paid him a cool $5 million. Of course the diva wasn't having that and sued him in an attempt to block the book, which is said to have juicy details like J.Lo cheating on P.Diddy in 1999 with Marc Anthony. Unfortunately J.Lo was successful and we won't be able to get our hands on the novel, but one detail did come out: Noa claims Lopez does Santeria on her enemies to get back at them:
I believe this, because Lopez was said to have consulted a Santeria advisor at the time of her upcoming wedding to Ben Affleck. The voodoo guru told her to call it off:
Santeria fuses Roman Catholic beliefs with traditional West African religions. It's preserved by an oral tradition and rituals involve animal sacrifice, dancing, chanting and magic spells. Animals, usually chickens, are sacrificed to bring good luck and forgiveness of sins, and to please the saints.
That's pretty funny and we hope more dirt gets released on Lopez even though the book was blocked. If she's gullible enough to believe in voodoo, maybe Lea Remini will successfully convert her to Scientology.
Here she is in the videoshoot for "I'm gonna be alright," which was released in 2002. [via]

Britney is planning to sue 8 different tabloids for reporting that her marriage is in trouble, but she's not going to do it from the states, where celebrities are considered public personalities and are fair game by law - she's filed suit in Ireland, where her chances of winning are much higher:
Spears is to sue the National Enquirer, based in Florida, for reports that her marriage to Kevin Federline was at an end. She is also suing seven other US and British publications that repeated the claims.
Foreign claimants have long been attracted to London because of the strict libel laws, but Belfast offers the prospect of high payouts, faster justice and lower costs.
Paul Tweed, senior partner at Johnson’s solicitors, who has been instructed by Spears, said he was also being consulted by Houston, Paula Abdul, the singer, and Steve Bing, film producer and father of Liz Hurley’s son Damian...
One law firm, which represents American celebrities suing in London, said: “They come to the UK because it is a good place to sue. In the US there is a public figure defence which means that if you have celebrity status you can’t sue anybody in America unless you can show that they acted from malice.”
Paul Tweed, senior partner at Johnson’s solicitors, who has been instructed by Spears, said he was also being consulted by Houston, Paula Abdul, the singer, and Steve Bing, film producer and father of Liz Hurley’s son Damian.
Belfast has similar libel laws to England, but waiting lists are shorter and the costs can be 75% lower. Many cases go to juries, which make higher awards. In one Belfast case Barney Eastwood, the boxing promoter, received an award of £450,000, the highest in Irish legal history.
If an American publication does not have assets in Britain, Tweed sues distributors and website hosts. He is currently taking action against Yahoo!
It doesn't seem fair that celebrities can just file suit from England or Ireland in order to get around US libel laws, but major corporations avoid paying taxes by incorporating overseas. Exploiting tax and legal loopholes is just one of the ways that people hold onto their undeserved millions.
Here is Britney with Sean Preston and her mom and sister outside of Nobu. K-Fed was there, too, but is not pictured. There was supposedly a paparrazi fight as photographers jockied for pictures of the pregnant star. TMZ has a video of it, with people saying "back off" and swearing, but it doesn't seem as exciting as they make it out to be. We were hoping for some punches and hair-pulling.

Paris' car trouble just doesn't end. She was videotaped backing her SUV into a honda in a parking lot this weekend, and now she's getting sued for a multi-car pileup in LA. Paris wasn't driving and wasn't in the car - her cousin caused the accident with Paris' car. (If Paris was around, you would have heard of this already.) The suit claims she's legally responsible, though:
According to the suit, "Traffic began to slow down and all vehicles came to a stop for traffic ahead." The lawsuit alleges that the defendant's car failed to stop, causing a chain collision involving four cars. The plaintiffs, Ivan Alvarez, Monica Delgado and their child, Nicholas Alvarez, were two cars in front of the Mercedes.
TMZ spoke with the plaintiffs' lawyer, Mauro Fiore, Jr., who said his two adult clients suffered "serious injuries."
Fiore says he filed a claim with Hilton's insurance company, and was shocked to learn that Hilton had the bare minimum coverage for property damage -- $5,000. Hilton's insurance company refused to disclose her policy limits for personal injury.
Fiore says he wants $250,000 for each plaintiff but the insurance company refuses to pay a dime.
There are two other lawsuits pending against Paris. One is a $10 million defamation case filed by Zeta Graff. Paris falsely claimed that Graff attacked her at a London club in July of last year and arranged to have the story leaked to the tabloids.
Another lawsuit is by party planner Brian Quintana, who Paris called a "dirty Mexican" and reportedly harassed after Quintana is said to have told Paris' boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos III, to dump her to get back with Mary-Kate Olsen. Quintana said he would drop the suit if Paris would show up at the opening of one of his clubs. We're not sure if Paris followed through, but it means that she could avoid at least one of the three lawsuits against her, not that the careless party girl cares much.
And Paris may be back with Stavros for the third time, because the two were spotted buying DVDs together. They seem to have picked up Kathy Griffin's comedy DVD.
Since splittling with Stavros in early May she was linked shortly with NFL quarterback Matt Leinart and with the hot guy who played her love interested in her new music video.
Stavros is said to have begged Paris to take him back, and to have sampled Lindsay Lohan's spicy wares.
Here is Paris making sure the paparrazi get a shot of her new CD as she heads to a pilates class in Brentwood. [via] Paris and Stavros picture [via]
Jennifer Lopez is being sued by concert promoters for pulling out of her tour of select European and Middle-Eastern cities. They cite the massive costs of promoting her cancelled appearances, along with the cost and effort of catering to her every anticipated whim:
Apart from the star's fee, the organizers of her Bulgarian gig admitted that they had spent about EUR 203,000 on commercials and to satisfy Lopez' many whims. The promoters said they has spent a little over EUR 3,000 on sunflower seeds, chili, aroma candles and mineral water, and then had to double the sum to transport all the supplies from the states.
Now J Lo is facing a trial and all the angry promoters are determined to get their money back. The most disappointing fact, Pick and More admitted, was that the diva didn't give any reason for the cancellation. The short note announcing that the rest of the tour was not to be did not bear any explanation, and many find this unethical...
The Latin star was supposed to hold her concert in Sofia on May 2, as part of the tour promoting her latest album "Rebirth", but she delayed the gig for May 23. Afterwards she cancelled the tour, leaving thousands of disillusioned fans in Mocow, Dubai, Mumbai, Athens, Baku and Thessaloniki.
People are speculating that J.Lo is pregnant since she looked slightly thick around the middle at the Time magazine awards and was sporting grey hair. It doesn't seem likely to us since she's been trying to get pregnant forever. If she is knocked up, she surely had some medical assistance and it seems like someone would have spilled the beans that she was getting fertility treatment.
Also, if she is pregnant it seems early enough in the pregnancy for her to be able to tour without a risk to her health. Her tour in Bulgaria was set to start May 23rd, a little over a week before she cancelled it.
We hope something else is up, because we can't stand J.Lo and don't want to have to report about her pregnancy and birth.

Paris Hilton has two lawsuits pending against her. One is $10 million defamation case filed by Zeta Graff for a story that Paris invented about Graff attacking her in a night club in July, 2005. Paris arranged to have the fabricated incident leaked to Page Six, which is otherwise a bastion of responsible journalism.
There is another defamation lawsuit against Paris by party planner Brian Quintana. He was granted a three year restraining order against her after she made threatening phone calls to him, famously calling him a "lazy Mexican." Quintana was friends with Paris, until he is said to have told Paris' boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos III, to dump her to get back with Mary-Kate Olsen.
Paris is not allowed to get within 100 yards of Quintana, unless they're at the same party.
Now Quintana is willing to drop the lawsuit - if Paris will show up at the launch of the nightclub he's now running, Teddy's, which was recently closed for underage drinking and mismanagement.
He explains, "I don't want to drag out a lengthy legal battle. I need people to know they can trust me because I'll be around for years. "So, for a small fee, I'm asking her to make an appearance with me (at Teddy's)." He'll even drop the restraining order, which prevents Hilton from coming within 25 yards (75 metres) of the party planner when they're at the same event, and 100 yards (300 feet) at all other times.
That's pretty generous and business-savvy of Quintana. Whether Paris shows up or not, he just got a ton of free publicity for the club.
Here she is getting out of her car. I know - thrilling - but she does seem to get caught behind the pop-up door for a moment.

Jennifer Lopez is suing her first ex husband, Ojani Noa, to stop him from coming out with a book about her. Noa signed a confidentiality agreement with Lopez five months ago that stated the he could not malign Lopez or reveal details of their past relationship. Lopez wants to enforce the confidentialy agreement and get a restraining order to block the book's release.
Noa filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Lopez at the end of 2004, claiming he'd been fired unfairly from his manager position at her Pasadena restaurant, Madres. He dropped the suit last November, and must have signed the confidentiality agreement in return for a settlement.
Noa has also tried to blackmail Lopez over the book. He asked for $5 million in return for not releasing it.
The NY Post claims that there are some juicy details in the novel, including the revelation that Lopez cheated on P. Diddy in 1999 wtih Marc Anthony.

Jessica Simpson is being sued by a clothing company for $100 million for breach of contract:
Under the terms of the agreement, Simpson was supposed to be "actively involved" in promoting the garb, including wearing items from the line at "public events, shows and appearances" whenever "reasonably practicable..."
The company contends the Dukes of Hazzard star even refused to be photographed wearing items from the JS by Jessica Simpson and Princy collections, and that when asked by the press to name her favorite brand of jeans at an event last year, she replied "True Religion," rather than "Princy."
Now Mischa Barton realizes that she has to talk about Keds as part of her endorsement deal, but Jessica Simpson has a clothing line named after her and still can't remember to plug it.
Simpson might just be fed up with endorsements. She sued an autoracing company two years ago for not paying her a mere $140,000 for wearing a T-Shirt with their logo on it in one of her videos.
Here she is in an older photo shoot for "Lovable Bras." At least that's a product she doesn't have to worry about wearing out.

Jessica Alba has forgiven Hugh Hefner for putting her on the cover of Playboy in a bikini without her permission. Alba was said to be embarassed by the issue, which seemed to suggest that she would be found naked inside. She threatened legal action and asked for the issue to be retracted, but a kind letter from Hefner convinced her to change her mind:
"What was intended as a tribute to your tremendous popularity has been misinterpreted by some as something else for which we are truly sorry since we are among your biggest fans," Hefner said.
"In light of Mr. Hefner's personal apology for Playboy's unauthorized use of my photo on their cover, I have decided to discontinue my claims against them," Alba, 24, said in a written statement.
"This was never about money, it was about setting the record straight about something that was done without my knowledge or consent," she added.
Alba's lawyers were said to be in talks with representatives from Playboy, but have ultimately decided to avoid costly and time consuming legal action. It seems like Alba just wanted to make a point, and it has been well taken.
Alba has a different beef with MTV, which staged a kiss with the hot actress with an aggressive chimpanzee for a clip that aired during the MTV Movie Awards. Alba says the chimp stuck its tongue in her mouth and bared its teeth at her:
"Then I had to do it again and she grabbed both of my ears and screamed in my face and showed me all of her teeth. I thought she was going to bite my face off. I think monkeys should be left in trees."
Surely any human would have been pleased to take over for the reluctant chimp.
Here is Alba with her boyfriend, Cash Warren, taking out the trash. Hollywood Tuna points out that she's wearing a T-Shirt with his name on it, and that Cash is more than happy to let her do the heavy lifting.

Bill Cosby's legal team has sent a cease and desist order to popular blogger Andy Baio of Waxy.org for posting the "House of Cosbys" video files. "House of Cosbys" is a cartoon that depicts multiple cloned Cosbys living in a house together, similar to the plot of the Micheal Keaton film, Mulitplicity. Baio is standing his ground, and says that "House of Cosbys" is a parody which falls under fair use guidelines. He points to many other parodies of Cosby, and says that he refuses to be legally bullied:
But because it takes so little effort to threaten a small web-based artist (or the blogger who hosts their work), the Net is constantly targeted regardless of just cause. Justin Roiland, creator of House of Cosbys, was forced to remove the videos because he couldn't risk the possibility of an actual lawsuit. And when Channel 101 decided to take a stand, Cosby's lawyers targeted their ISP instead, forcing the videos offline.
But I know my legal standing, and I'm not backing down unless ordered by the court. This is free speech and creative freedom, and even though it's just one guy's goofy labor of love, that's worth fighting for, dammit.
Here's House of Cosbys episode one:
Bill Cosby seems like even more of an asshole when you consider that he recently pointed out to Katrina victims that there were high crime rates in New Orleans before the natural disaster:
"It's painful, but we can't cleanse ourselves unless we look at the wound," Cosby told the rally of about 2,000 people at the city's convention center, where thousands of Katrina evacuees had gathered seven months earlier.
"Ladies and gentlemen, you had the highest murder rate, unto each other. You were dealing drugs to each other. You were impregnating our 13-, 12-, 11-year-old children," he said, in quotes picked up by Reuters.
This is typical of Cosby, who has lashed out in the past at what he perceives as a violent black popular culture and an unwillingness to change. Cosby has seemed to blame the African American community for their plight and maintains a dismal perspective instead of looking at more broad sociocultural factors and seeing the positive aspects of black culture.

Virgin mogul Richard Branson has paid Kate Moss a £1million advance to write an autobiography about her ordeal with cocaine abuse. Moss is said to have confided in Branson during her struggle to get off drugs last year:
She had long chats with Branson, who has known Kate since she was 15 and signed to his Storm agency.
Kate was dropped by a host of labels following damning footage of her cocaine abuse last September. She spent a month in rehab in Arizona.
Branson said: "The story coming out could have saved her from a far worse situation"...
Branson has persuaded her to sign a £1million autobiography contract to confess all about her cocaine abuse - published by Virgin Books.
Kate's career had some setbacks, but quickly recovered after the video of her doing cocaine came out last year. Now she's set to cash in big time with a revealing autobiography.
Kate Moss has also forfeited a lawsuit against Britian's Channel Five for a 2004 documentary, "The Truth about Kate Moss," that claimed that she did cocaine. In order to proceed with the lawsuit, Kate would have had to sign a statement that she didn't do cocaine. Instead of signing the statement, for which there is plenty of proof otherwise, she gave up persuing the lawsuit.
Here is Kate out with a male friend in London on Thursday. We also have pictures of her April appearance in Harper's Bazaar.

Britney is getting sued by some of her former bodyguards for not paying overtime for the 24-7 coverage she demands:
I don't know, I mean I usually side with the labor but 2k a week doesn't sound bad. They probably just couldn't stand being around her all day.

Before you get excited thinking this thing is actually going to come out, remember how unwatchable Chaotic was. Britney Spears has an ongoing lawsuit against US Weekly for a 2005 October article that claimed that Britney and Kevin made a sex tape which they inexplicably showed to their estate lawyers:
US Weekly wanted the lawsuit dismissed, but the judge just ruled that the suit could proceed and that Spears' lawyer has until April 6 to get more witnesses. The author of the article in question says that his source was solid, and Spears' lawyer is not calling him as a witness.US Weekly has refused to print a retraction.
Spears denies the tape even exists and is seeking $20 million in damages. US Weekly says Spears might be able prove the article was false, but can't show that they had malicious intent in printing it.
You know that this thing probably exists. These are the attention whores who bragged about their sex life in that piece of shit Chaotic. Let's hope for Britney's sake this whole thing just blows over, and if there is a tape it's been destroyed.
Britney was back in LA yesterday at a recording studio. While her friend has a muffin-top, Britney might actually be pregnant since her belly button is protruding so much. We don't know. US Weekly just reported that she wasn't pregnant, and has a C-section scar infection. (Thanks Perez!) It sounds like they're just hedging their bets.
Thanks to Marie at the JJB board for these pictures.

Bruce Willis may have stood up Petra Nemcova at the premiere of V for Vendetta. Nemcova said her "friend" was supposed to attend the premiere but was dissapointed that he did not come. Nemcova and Wilils are said to have spent last weekend together in Atlantic City.
Meanwhile Willis is suing Page Six for reporting that he pestered Nemcova and made a sizeable donation to her tsunami charity in order to get a first date. Maybe he didn't show up at the premiere for fear of jeaopardizing his lawsuit.

"The Da Vinci Code" was interesting and all, but we thought the writing was piss poor. That's why it's not surprising that Dan Brown is not only a lousy writer, he's also incapable of coming up with his own ideas. At least that's what co-authors of the 1982 book "The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail" are claiming.
For his part, Brown admitted today to reading the book as part of the research for the "Da Vinci Code," but called the plaguarism charge "completely fanciful.":
That idea is part of the central theme of the earlier book, whose co-authors Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh are suing Random House, the publisher of both books.
Admitting to reading the book but saying you didn't copy it is a weak argument. Brown might have changed enough to make it seem like he had some original ideas, but he still cheated.
Unfortunately Brown may win the case on sheer looks alone. "The Holy Blood And The Holy Grail" co-author Richard Leigh is pictured above. [via]
The co-authors of "The Holy Blood" are seeking an injuction to insure that their material is no longer used. If the case is sucessful, the scheduled May 19th of "DaVinci Code" film starring Tom Hanks and Ian McKellen could be delayed.

Paris fabricated a story that Graff attacked her in July, 2005 in a London night club. She then arranged to have the story leaked to The Post. In a deposition in November for the case, Paris tried to dismiss an e-mail to her publicist in which she called the Post article about the fake incident "genius" by saying, "whatever I write in email, it doesn't mean anything. It is just words I write." She also didn't recognize that London was in the U.K., and admitted that she was scared of voodoo.
It does not seem like a friendly dinner will patch things up between the two, as TMZ found that "the lawsuit is [still] 100% active."
Here are pictures of Hilton and Graff on the night in question.

You've probably heard this by now, but here's a recap: Paris Hilton's restraining order now states that she must stay 100 feet away from party planner Brian Quintana, who she famously called a "lazy Mexican," unless the two are at the same party. In that case, she can be within 25 feet of Quintana.
The exemption was won by Paris' lawyers after she was barred from the Vanity Fair Oscar party when Quintana was already inside. Paris would not have made it into the party anyway, as Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter stated that she would "never attend one of the parties I host."
Carter's statement has gossip blogs buzzing that Hilton's 15 minutes are over.
With the latest news that Hilton has herpes and is releasing a new album, we're sure that people won't tire of talking about her.
Here she is shopping and filming "The Simple Life."
Six more after the jump.

First Stapp's career was ruined forever by the timely release of a sex tape, and now he's getting sued by one of the female stars in the video:
The lawsuit seeks to prevent sale of the video and asks for unspecified damages, alleging the woman suffered emotional distress.
"For all purposes, she is the star of the females in the video," the lawsuit said.
The tape is now in limbo after Stapp and Rock won a temporary court order to prevent its distribution. I really hope that it comes out that Stapp released the video for self-promotion and is only whining about it to hide his involvement. Kid Rock says that Stapp's an idiot and that the video will only help sales of his new album.

Howard Stern is being sued by former employer CBS for promoting his upcoming Sirius show on the air. Stern was proportedly warned to cut it out, but kept on it in his trademark style:
By touting his move from terrestrial radio, the suit contends, Stern essentially gave Sirius free ad time on his CBS syndicated show--this, despite being on orders from CBS suits to tone down the Sirius plugs. (Last November, a month before he signed off from CBS Radio, his bosses there suspended Stern for one day for overtly hyping Sirius.)
Stern says it's personal and that he disclosed details of his new contract to CBS.
Whatever the outcome, CBS is losing money. Stern's replacement, David Lee Roth, is tanking in the ratings.
