A new article in Life and Style claims that as Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear's high-profile divorce is close to reaching a settlement, Richie is having second thoughts and realizes how much he loves his wife of 11 years. He even sent a $500 pink and red rose bouquet to Heather.
“He’s realizing its ending and doesn’t want it to,” the insider tells L&S. “He’s still in love with her.”
So what do men in love an in trouble do at times like this? Send flowers - or in Richie's case - a lot of flowers. The report claims that on Aug. 10, the insider says Richie sent Heather a massive $500 bouquet of red and pink roses.
Wow. He must realize what he's missing with Heather. Sambora was said to be totally surprised to be served divorce papers this February and even denied to the press that he and Heather were split. Maybe he's not ready to let go.
If that's true, it's got to piss off his media-whore girlfriend, Denise Richards. Denise recently reached an amicable "interim" settlement with her ex, Charlie Sheen, who she famously skewered in the press on the eve of his children's clothing line launch. Denise didn't renew a restraining order against Sheen and according to their lawyers they're getting along.
Denise and Richie were said to be planning a wedding for early next year, and Denise was seen wearing what looked like an engagement ring. She followed Richie to Europe while he was touring with Bon Jovi and seemed really needy in the relationship. If this is true then he's obviously sick of her. Men don't usually like women who hang all over them.

Courteney Cox says that Jennifer Aniston is a great friend that she can rely on in a crisis:
Cox recently revealed that she had some trouble in her marriage to funnyman David Arquette and that they wisely sought counseling to straighten it out.
She also adamantly denies that Aniston is engaged to Vaughn:
Asked at a charity event yesterday if Aniston was planning to become Mrs. Vaughn, Cox said, "No, she's not."
I bet Vaughn and Aniston are broken up already. Either that or they're fighting constantly. Neither of them look happy together in the rare paparrazi photos that come out.
Star reports that Aniston and Vaughn are having trouble because Aniston doesn't want kids, but that's probably just speculation.

Oscar winner Charlize Theron and her boyfriend of five years, Irish actor Stuart Townsend, are said to have had a spat while out a Hollywood restaurant last week. The Mirror reports that Charlize showed up 45 minutes late for dinner and that Stuart lectured her for it in front of their embarassed friends:
But 33-year-old Irish hunk Stuart was afraid Charlize had messed up their schedule and launched an ugly attack when she finally arrived. The 31-year-old Monster actress pleaded with her man to forgive her for being late - but Stu didn't seem in the mood.
A source at the restaurant tells us: "Charlize sat teary eyed as Stuart acted like a schoolmaster, lecturing her in front of their friends - like she was a tardy student."
Diners looked shocked as Stuart's diatribe went on and on.
"Charlize kept trying to apologise, but he wouldn't let it go, calling her rude in front of their two guests," adds the source.
The scolding subsided momentarily while a waitress took their meal orders, with Charlize ordering only a drink.
Says our mole: "Charlize was really embarrassed. She pleaded: 'I'm so sorry I was late, and I'm sorry you had to wait.
But I'm here now,' before soothing him with kisses and caresses until he finally let up.
"He eventually gave in and said: "I forgive you, but don't let it happen again." A restaurant employee confirmed: "Charlize and Stuart did come in for dinner last week. They came before a Radiohead concert. They were very late to their table."
This might have happened, but The Mirror lost all credibility for me when they claimed Nicole Kidman was out at a party when she was really outside the Creative Artists offices.
I wouldn't be surprised if they only information they had is that Charlize was late to dinner while her boyfriend and their friends waited.
What I want to know is when are these two getting married? They had some trouble back in March, with reports that they had broken up, but now that they're back together and supposedly doing fine it's about time Townsend popped the question. Charlize has been wearing what looks like an engagement ring on her left ring finger, so these two may be engaged already.

Star Magazine reports this week that Matthew McConaughy called Jennifer Aniston in a not-so-subtle attempt to get her to go out with him.
A friend of Matt’s then tells Star Magazine, “He doesn't give up when he has his eye on someone. He’s figuring out his next move.”
Jennifer's rep denied that she received a call from McConaughy, but it could be true. If it really happened, it doesn't mean McConaughy was serious about it. He may have just wanted the publicity so that he can stem some of the rumors that he's enjoying Lance and Jake's company in every way possible. It was a pretty slick move on his part, considering he picked an actress who's technically unavailable, but hasn't gone public with her relationship.
Aniston seems to be having a hard time in her relationship with bloated paramour Vince Vaughn. While it was rumored last week that they broke up, that doesn't seem true since Vince was spotted out with Aniston and was seen leaving her house. Poor Aniston has bought a new dog to keep her company while she waits for a commitment from Vince that will never come. Maybe she should have gone out with McConaughy. At least it would have made Vince jealous.

Angelina supposedly got fed up with Brad's demands that she stay at home and take care of their kids and left their Malibu estate in a huff to stay at a hotel with the kids for a few days. Star Magazine is set to report that she checked into the Hotel Bel Air in Beverly Hills on July 29:

Brad was reportedly “stunned” and “incredibly angry,” says the insider, while Angie and their brood settled calmly into the lap of luxury for a few days of what the mag calls "Father Doesn’t Know Best."
An employee of the hotel told Star, “We are taking extra good care of her.”
Don't worry Brangelina fans, they have kissed and made up according to the report.
Star reports that by Aug 3rd the couple had made amends - the couple met for a romantic dinner at the nearby Hotel Roosevelt’s Dakota restaurant, where they shared a cheeseburger, a quesadilla and a salad.
The pair then spent the night in a romantic $7,000 a night suite.
Here are the websites for the Hotel Bel Air and the Hotel Roosevelt so you can see where the famous hotties stayed. I only have one kid, not three, but I'd use any excuse to get away to a spa resort for a few days if I could. Who can blame Angelina?
She must be stressed out being a new mom and I bet she won't be adopting right away as she seemed to imply in recent interviews.
I was a bit curious about the timeline in this report because didn't she just step out with Brad and Maddox for lunch? It turns out that was on July 25th, making this timeline possible. Considering the demand for photos of the Jolie-Pitts, it's surprising that no one has any pictures of her stay at the resort, but that's probably why she picked the place - and part of the reason why she needed to get away.
There does seem to be a power struggle in Brad and Angelina's relationship. With Angelina having the upper hand for so long, she must be annoyed that Brad is working and striking out on his own. She's probably just overwhelmed with motherhood, though. People think this won't last, but I bet they'll weather more than a few storms together.

Justin Timberlake might not get away from Cameron Diaz so easily. There's a report that Cameron and Justin have bought a $24 million Hawaiian estate together:
The couple were pictured frolicking in the sea while on holiday in Kailua last week and it seems the pair had such a good time they have decided to invest in a property.
Justin and Cameron, both who are avid surfers, spent the whopping sum on a beachfront estate.
Buyer's agent Joan Graham, of Coldwell Banker, is refusing to confirm if the couple bought the holiday home due to a strict confidentiality agreement, however local media have confirmed the sale.
The millions bought the couple 15,000 sq. feet feet of living space, tennis courts along with a sauna, tropical pool and staff quarters.
Justin is said to have wanted time off from his three-year relationship with Cameron, and it was rumored that they broke up in late June. He was even said to be dating 23 year-old Lauren Popeil.
Cameron and Justin were seen vacationing together in Hawaii at the end of July, with Cameron hanging all over him, and Justin looking like he would rather be anywhere else. We doubt this is going to last, even if Cameron can convince Justin that a really expensive house is just the thing they need.

The story that Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn broke up may not be true. Jen might be hanging out with her famous gal pals, and she just got a new dog and all, but she was spotted out with Vince this Tuesday night. They both look miserable, though, that's something:
The news came out at the end of July that these two broke up and has only gradually picked up steam. Maybe they're just not spending much time together or have a rocky relationship. It's certainly suspect that they never went public with it.

Diddy was supposedly set to propose to his longterm girlfriend, Kim Porter, but news got out that a woman in Atlanta just had a baby that she claims is his, and Kim is mighty pissed. He's due to take a paternity test and the results might be quite expensive for him:
But this isn't the first bump in the road for Puffy and Kim. Puffy publicly broke up with Kim to date actress Jennifer Lopez - only to reconcile with her after being dumped by Lopez. The rap mogul has since been rumored to have strayed from the relationship with dozens of women. And earlier this year the two reportedly had an argument on Puffy's yacht which left Porter with a broken nose. Again Kim took him back, telling reporters that she "banged her nose on a table."
If Puffy is the father of the Atlanta woman's child, she's in line for a huge pay day. Misa Hylton-Brim, the mother of Puffy's first child Justin, receives $19,000 a month in child support payments. Kim Porter, the mother to Puffy's 8-year old son Christian, receives a reported $32,000 a month in child support.
My god that's some high child support. He shells out 50k a month for two kids! With another potential baby, he's looking at around $75k.
We'll have to see how this one turns out, but he may be on the market again if that baby turns out to be his.

British reality TV star Emma Ryan claims David Beckham cheated on Posh with her in 1998, back when the famous couple was engaged. Beckham acknowledges that he met the woman, but says that he didn't cheat with her. She now claims they had an affair:
But the model told a different story.
"Beckham's people tried to make out it was just a brief fling. But the truth is, it was much, much more.
"Now I'm determined the whole world will know the truth. It was a love affair. We both had very deep feelings for each other."
Beckham, who has retired as England Captain, maintains he was "stitched up big time and full of remorse" over the allegations.
It is not the first time the Beckhams' marriage has plunged into crisis over allegations of an affair.
His former PA Rebecca Loos made £1million by selling secrets from their alleged affair.
Emma just arrived on "Love Island" with her equally slutty twin, Eve, so she's undoubtedly trying to get press coverage with this latest stunt.
It might be true that Beckham cheated with her, but it was 8 years ago, so who really cares? In the spring of 2004 it came out that he cheated with assistant Rebecca Loos, so that's much bigger news since it happened while Posh and Becks were married.
This chick is just trying to get publicity for her gig on that British reality show, and it's working well for her since the papers are carrying this boring old story.

Their newborn is just over two months old, so this isn't that shocking, but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are repotedly sleeping apart because Angelina wants to be near Shiloh while Brad needs his beauty sleep:
The Fight Club star is supposedly struggling to get his beauty sleep in following Shiloh’s birth in May, so has decided to sleep in a different room to his gorgeous lover whilst she stays with their infant daughter.
A source tells The People, "She wants to keep an eye on her. Brad needs his sleep but he helps when he can."
This sounds like the time they were staying in that slum in Paris and Brad had to sleep on the couch because Angelina was pregnant and taking up the whole bed.
Star Magazine is reporting that Angelina is not happy with her stretch marks and post-partum body and that's the real reason she's keeping Brad out of the bedroom. She supposedly doesn't want to have sex, which is worrying Brad, but she just had a baby and that sounds pretty normal.
Dana at Dana's Dirt says that Angelina better put out soon or Brad will lose interest:

A very pregnant and much classier-looking Britney Spears made an appearance at Pure nightclub at Ceasar's Palace in Las Vegas to support her husband Kevin Federline's video shoot. She looked quite presentable in a horizontal-striped top and her black hair.
Britney was also photographed in Vegas with a guy rumored to be her new "manager," or maybe just her agent, Wililam Morris agent Jason Trawick.
Both times she looked rather good. That may be some kind of record for her.
Britney had a supposed pregnancy scare on July 15th, when it is said that she went into false labor and had to be rushed to the hospital. A "friend" is quoted as blaming the incident on Britney's poor nutrition, saying she wasn't eating enough vegetables. If you take a look in Kevin's cart in these pictures of him shopping, you can see why a gossip magazine writer could come to that conclusion. Celebrity Baby Blog mentions that it sounds like a completely bogus reason for false labor.

Fresh on the heels of getting caught wanking a 58 year-old pot-bellied dude in a park, it was said that George Michael and his longterm partner, American Kenny Goss, have called off their planned gay wedding. The wedding was to take place around their tenth anniversary, sometime before the end of the Summer.
After the photos came out in Britain's News of the World of a disheleved and surprised Michael and his one-time hookup, umemployed Norman Kirtland, Michael's partner defended him, saying that they were putting the incident behind them:
Visibily distraught Kenny, who answered the door at George's £5 million mansion, said: "George is not going to say anything today. He has already said what he wants. This is behind us. That is everything we are going to say on the subject. We are getting on with the rest of our lives."
Reports had the two cancelling their planned wedding, saying that they are "reassessing their relationship," but another story has Micheal insisting the wedding is still on, and making it obvious why hot Goss has stayed with his cheating ass:
He says, "I'd have to do something he dislikes before it was off." The couple are expected to tie the knot before Michael's 50-date European tour begins in September (06).

Michael has been embroiled in scandal for several months, after being caught with pot and poppers in his car back in March, and photographed passed out at a stoplight in May. He'll need to get treatment for his sex and drug addiction if he wants to "pull off" a gruelling 50-date tour.

Life & Style suggests that now that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are back in LA, Angelina is so busy with the kids and Brad is so busy with new projects that the two barely have time for each other. It sounds like speculation based on the fact that a few pictures of Brad around town have come out while Angelina hasn't been seen in a while:
A friend of Angelina's tells the magazine that she said of Brad, "He's doing so much, I can't keep track of it." The report claims that Brad wanted Jolie by his side when he went to New Orleans, but she didn't want to make the trip with all three kids. And she certainly didn't want to leave them at home with a nanny.
So Brad went to New Orleans alone.
And Angelina, despite earlier reports that she might take some time off and be a stay at home mom for a while has increased her schedule.
She's signed on for some voice work in "Kung Fu Panda" and a has a blockbuster role in "A Mighty Heart" lined up. Brad is busy on Oceans 13 as well.
This is one busy couple.
Meanwhile Brad's grandmother is quoted as saying that he's so sensitive to the pain and suffering he caused Jennifer Aniston by breaking up with her that he's going to wait to marry Angelina:
She says, "Brad promised his last wife on their wedding day they'd be together forever, and they didn't make it. He is a sensitive soul who just wants to make sure he can keep his promise this time around."
Pitt also gave an insight into how he has taken to fatherhood and his relationship with the actress and their two adopted children Maddox, four, and 18-month-old Zahara.
Russell adds, "Brad has always wanted to have children and he is playing the father role very well. The family loved Jennifer. But he has got Angelina now and seems really happy with life.
"(Brad is) very close to (Maddox). He confides little secrets to him".
This isn't a great source, but it could be a real quote. From what I've read, Brad's family really liked Aniston and maybe he just said that to his grandmother to make her feel better about the fact that he's not marrying Angelina and left Aniston high and dry. Earlier reports had Brad clamoring to get married while Angelina was playing characteristically coy.
It could be true that Brad and Angelina are quite busy now, but that doesn't mean they don't get to spend quality time together at home. Most dads and moms manage to maintain loving, communicative relationships while working outside of the home. They just don't have photographers following them everywhere like the Jolie-Pitts.

Britney Spears is staying in a hotel while her husband, Kevin Federline, is at the couples' mansion with his ex, Shar Jackson and his kids from their relationship:
A friend reveals: "Things are far from rosy. They're trying to make it work but there are still issues that need addressing.
"Britney's got to be calm for the birth of her second child, so she's taking time out from their problems and giving herself some space."
To make matters worse, Shar and Kevin are rumored to be planning a duet together! Britney was said to be enraged a few months ago when Shar recorded her own version of Britney's "Chaotic," with Kevin's blessing. This latest news had got to annoy her. How much will it take before she breaks up with him and reclaims her life?
Britney and Kevin were said to be using a $1,000 an hour relationship counselor, but how much is it going to help if they're never together?
In Justin Timberlake's new GQ article, he either slams or supports Britney depending on which quote the press wants to focus on. He said he was dissapointed that she didn't stick up for him after their breakup, but that she deserves more lenient treatment by the press:
"I feel bad for her. We all make mistakes. We all came from the same school, with Christina, myself, Britney."
It doesn't sound like Timberlake is going to come to Britney's rescue. Now that Perry is helping her out again, maybe she'll get the courage she needs to stand on her own. I'm not going to hold my breath, though.

The Pirates of the Caribbean exhibit was unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London today. The wax artists are quite skilled at male characters as Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp's waxworks look eerily close to the real thing. Keira Knightley's wax figure looks like a female impersonator, though. Maybe that's why they tried to hide her underneath some falling hair.
People are speculating that Keira Knightley's live-in relationship with fellow actor Rupert Friend won't last long. He complained about his girlfriend having to kiss her hot costars in "Pirates" and said that she's hardly ever home. Keira admitted to working too hard, and says that she needs to take time off, but not because of Rupert:
She added that she "definitely" had no plans to get married just yet. And when asked if she was going to take more time off to spend with Rupert, she replied: "I'm going to take time off because of myself mainly, not because of him. Let's see how things go there. I'm working on two new movies, that's what I'm concerned about now."
Not that Pride And Prejudice actor Rupert would call what she does "work". When we asked about Keira's performance in Pirates, he grunted: "It must have been a hard job kissing Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. I'm sure she hated every minute of it!" Then he moaned to us: "She hardly ever comes home to me."
It doesn't sound like Keira and Rupert are doing too well if they speak so poorly of each other to the press.

There were reports that Britney was planning a "Chaotic 2" to further pound her stardom into the ground, but that was yet another piece of fake news embellished by the British tabloids. They always put some bit of UK slang in there to give it away.
Perez Hilton called Britney's rep, who denied that Britney was dumb enough to make another "Chaotic". Plus Kevin would have to be around long enough to make the film.
Just like the rumor that Britney was going to give birth in Namibia, this originated with the satirical site "Postcards from the Pug Bus" and was picked up as real news, with fake quotes added for good measure, by the tabloids.

Yesterday I mentioned the US Weekly article about Britney's consultation with her christian life coach, and how she has taken Kevin back. The article makes it seem as if it's this glorious reunion and that everything will be fine in their troubled relationship after the vacation photo op they took. This is in complete contrast to other reports we read that had Britney and Kevin sleeping in separate hotel rooms and avoiding each other on that same trip.
According to the source, the fresh start stems from a four-hour conversation encouraged by Spears' newly aquired Christian life coach, which took place shortly before the Lauer interview (taped June 9.) One hot topic: the sharing and selling of personal details about the couple to tabloid reporters by Federline's intimates. "Kevin acknowledged that he blabbed info to his friends, claiming it was harmless and he had no idea they would talk," says the source. "He promised never to do it again."
Kevin also promised to spend four to five hours each day with Sean Preston to give Britney a break. Now that Perry's gone he better take up some of the slack.
This glowing report of their renewed love must be one Kevin's peeps giving good news to the rags for once after Britney told Kevin to stop feeding his friends stories to sell to the press. There's no way everything is fine in their relationship or that their misguided love with conquer all.
Britney may dress trashy, but she lives in more style then the majority of the planet will experience in its lifetime. It's kind of incongruous to see Britney in a tie-dye and Kevin in camo pants in a private jet, and it reminds us how privileged these people are, and why we make fun of them in the first place. The lead story in The National Enquirer has Brad and Angelina fighting over the fact that Brad doesn't get any alone time with the gorgeous mother of new baby and two adopted kids. Brad supposedly wanted to have a private lunch with Angelina, but she deferred in favor of watching the kids. She certainly has enough kids to take care of:
Hands-on mom Angelina is completely consumed with baby Shiloh Nouvel and her two other young children, and that has changed the nature of her day-to-day relationship with Brad.
Tension between the new parents exploded recently over frustration about not being able to spend time alone.
Brad was hoping for a romantic lunch with Angelina but their schedules didn't allow it and the situation quickly turned into a fight.
"Even though they have nannies, Angelina is focused full time on the kids," said a source. "If one of them cries at 3 a.m., she's by their side. Angie is operating on very minimal sleep and it's magnified by the couple's issues.
Lack of alone time has caused the couple to fight bitterly and when Brad realized he couldn't have Angelina to himself he blew up.
"He ralied at Angelina, but she was busy tending to Shiloh.
"Brad stormed out - going on a long motorcycle trip for the rest of the day to blow off steam. And Angelina collapsed in tears.
"She's been dealing with so much - the new baby, a sick mother, a relocation to Malibu - that she just lost it."
The article then rehashes Angelina's fight with Brad when he went out in London one night when she was sick. A "family friend" also claims that Angelina is having trouble breastfeeding little Shiloh, and that she feels guilty that she may have to supplement with formula. She is also said to feel guilt over the fact that she wasn't able to have a natural birth.
Plus Brad is still smoking, and Angelina may be "fed up" with his nasty habit.
This all sounds like normal stuff that happens with a growing family, and The Enquirer seems to be making more out of it than warranted.
Who knows how bad their fight was? Maybe Brad just wanted to get out of the house and didn't storm out after all.
He did go out on his bike, though, because there were pictures all over the place. It's easy enough to draw conclusions based on that.
They were said to be having trouble back in Paris in the loud and dirty neighborhood they rented an apartment in, and Brad was supposedly sleeping on the couch because pregnant Angelina needed the space in bed to herself.
If all of this is true, it seems pretty normal considering all the stress they must be under with the new baby and the move. Even with a lot of help, it's still a lot of work.
This week's National Enquirer has Jen and Vince "on the rocks" and fighting over the fake engagement ring Jen wore to the London premiere of "The Break Up." She had it on her left hand, and gushed about the ring's details to the press. Vince got pissed off and Jen put the ring on her right hand to appease him. Jen and Vince stayed away from each other all night, and a source says they were both in a bad mood and looked sad. We've heard this story before.
When British journalist Leigh Purves asked Vince if he and Jennifer planned to marry, he barked: "Talk to our people."
Said Purved: "I'd noticed Jennifer was wearing a ring on her wedding finder. I asked her about it and, looking very coy, she told me: 'It's a 9.5-carat canary diamond ring by Suzy Fabricant. Nice, isn't it?'
"I told her it was gorgeous, but before Jennifer could say anymore I noticed Vince moving in with a face like thunder."
Witnesses say Vince, 36, took 37 year-old Jennifer by the arm and marched her off into a corner.
"Vince gave Jennifer a real tongue-lashing. I overheard him using the words 'cheap' and trick,'" a source told the Enquirer. "Vince was talking in loud whispers. He kept repearing , 'Don't, Don't.'
"Jennifer looked hurt. She pulled the ring off and slipped it on her right hand."
At the premiere after party, they sat separately and left separately. They even had different suites in their hotel. From her quotes, she doesn't sound happy about their relationship:
It sounds like she doesn't care if the cherry is there or not, and as if she's trying to justify their stormy relationship.
US Weekly claims to have "The Truth about Jen & Vince" and refutes the rumors that she's engaged and/or pregnant while making it seem like their relationship is fine. They use the one picture of them having dinner together in France and say that she's moving to Chicago as proof of their solid relationship. They quote a source saying "Both of them are so happy, They are an amazing couple."
We doubt that everything is fine, because neither of them seems happy or is willing to admit much about the other to the press. They've been together for two years. Isn't that long enough to go public with their relationship?

People are saying that Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze are living apart and may be ready to divorce. Gellar is currently working on the film "The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing" while Prinze is starring in an ABC series, "Freddie." Prinze's TV work is said to be tearing the couple apart:
The pair have been besieged by reports the show in "tearing them apart" and are on the verge of splitting since Prinze signed up to his new sitcom last year.
A source told the New York Daily News that, "Ever since he started that show Freddie things were over."
It has also been widely reported that they have been living apart in recent weeks.
The couple's representative, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, has vehemently denied the rumors, insisting the couple is still, "completely together."
Zelnick also added that they'll be spending the weekend together at Zelnick's house in Connecticut.
It's rather suspect that their publicist is saying they're coming over to her house at the weekend. That seems like an afterthought, and something she may have come up with while on the phone with the Daily News.
It's unknown whether they're actually having trouble, but Gellar is on baby watch since Cannes. We thought she looked pregnant at the film festival, as she was wearing ill-fitting gowns and held her hand over her stomach on the red carpet.
Reader Millie e-mailed me to say that she's still wearing loose tops on the set of her new film, and that she does look pregnant. Prinze, 30, and Gellar, 29, have been married since 2002. We'll have to wait and see if their marriage is in trouble and/or if they're having a baby.
Britney released a clip of a new song on her website called "Rebellion." It looks like it was up briefly and was removed, because BreatheHeavy.com says it was the second update and was under her poem, but it's no longer available.
The lyrics reveal the fact that she's pissed off at the paparrazi and press and thinks that she can make a noun into a verb by repeating it a lot. On her site before the download link she wrote "This is for everyone who thinks they know me... I forgive you."

Justin Timberlake might be getting friendly with Lauren Popeil, the daughter of famous Ronco informercial king Ron Popeil. A source tells Perez Hilton that they're good "friends" and went out together to a club in Hollywood last week:
The singer has been "spending time" lately with Lauren Popeil (above center), daughter of pasta maker and infomercial guy Ron Popeil.
The two have gotten quite chummy very quickly and have even been taken their close "friendship" public, hitting hotspot Hyde in West Hollywood last Friday night.
The only information I could find on Lauren was on the website for the household goods business she helps run with her mother, popeilfamilystore.com. She is 23, as a 1997 article about Ron lists her age at the time as 14. She was friends with Paris Hilton at some point, because her name was listed on Paris' phone when it was hacked. She doesn't get around - or get photographed - too much, though. The latest pictures of Lauren on Wireimage are from a SuperBowl after party in 2003.
While there is no official response from either Justin or Cameron's camp to the breakup rumors, People cites a source that states that they're still going strong:
Earlier this week, a report claimed that Timberlake – who is slated to release his new album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, on Sept. 12 – had broken up with Diaz. The story cited their age difference – he's 25, she's 33 – one of the reasons why.
Maybe the source is one of Cameron's friends and she's in denial or doesn't know yet. We don't think everything's fine between them, especially in light of this video of Justin on TMZ. A blonde is seen getting into his car, and it's not Cameron.

Earlier in the week it was reported that Kevin wanted Britney to fire her gorgeous helpful bodyguard/manny, 28 year-old naval academy graduate, Perry Taylor. Britney may have followed his advice, because she was photographed out without Perry in a NY Mall yesterday.
A source close to the pop star is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Kevin didn't like seeing Perry holding his son while out with Britney. He instructed her to drop him before their reunion last week where
they decided to get their marriage back on track. Kevin was uncomfortable with Perry being so close to Britney and his son. He felt she was trying to taunt him."
Perry has now reportedly been told by the 'Toxic' singer he will only be employed on an hourly basis when he is needed as opposed to the round-the-clock shifts he did before.
Kevin would tell Britney to get rid of a guy that's ten times more helpful than he is. He wants to control her and make sure she doesn't leave his sorry ass. It looks like Perry's fifteen minutes of fame, and his steady job, are over. Maybe if he did it half-assed like Kevin, Britney's husband wouldn't feel threatened by him and wouldn't have asked her to fire him.
Britney and Kevin were said to have vacationed together at a resort in Miami this weekend, but the reality is that they avoided each other and stayed in separate houses at their resort.
Kevin has new gigs this week as the face of Blue Marlin clothing company and campaigning for a new Virgin Mobile charity "penny" drive. It's really a publicity stunt for Virgin's one-cent text messaging offer. Now that he's getting his own "work" maybe he'll get cocky enough about it to finally set Britney free.

SocialRank claims to have an exclusive that Jay-Z and Beyonce are calling off their relationship due to too much time apart and too many conflicts. There was a rumor last month that they were getting married after Jay-Z lost weight on a diet supervised by Beyonce, but that was influenced by Beyonce's own success in the dieting department and didn't seem like a strong enough indication that they were preparing for a wedding:
Jay-Z has been completely immersed with his Island Def Jam work for the last couple of months, while spending all his free time at the offices or games of New Jersey Nets. Beyonce meanwhile went to Cannes and to the Walk of Fame Induction ceremony all by herself, feeling lonely and unsupported. “Jay is obsessed with keeping basketball game scores” another very close source to the couple is saying. “Beyonce is looking to the future. The Page Six publicized basketball game fight wasn’t a first blow-out the couple has experienced lately. Private fights, ignored telephone calls, screaming arguments have been the theme of the couple’s last couple of months. “It has simply become too much”, a source confides. “Beyonce realized that two of them just might be incompatible and their relationship is really a lie they both were trying to believe in”. They came together to LA Reid’s birthday bash last week and put on the “happy couple” show. But inside out source observes. “Beyonce simply feels empty. She wants to spend this important Dreamgirls year for her with someone who understands her and relates to her a lot more”.
It sounds like they're both too busy to spend time together, and that Jay-Z is too focused on sports and partying to settle down. That is really common and I have dated guys like that. As much as you love them, you have to move on to someone who has the same goals in life and is ready for a long term commitment.
Beyonce was said to be jealous of Jay-Z's very close working relationship with hot singer Rhianna, but it doesn't seem like Jay-Z and Rhianna were having more than a flirtatious friendship.
There is only a single source for this news now, so until it's confirmed and reported all over we aren't sure it's true. Even if it's spot-on, it will probably be a while before the breakup is acknowledged.

Britney's boyguard and inexperienced manny, Perry Taylor, wanted to become a US Navy Seal, but a bad stint in the Navy caused by too much boozing and carousing squashed his dreams and forced him to take a career in security:
Perry may have been a drinker like a lot of young people, but he's still ten times better than K-Fed, whose only brush with responsibility was working as a back up dancer and trying to start a career in a field he's completely inadequate in.
Britney and K-Fed were photographed together for the first time in weeks. K-Fed looked tired and uncomfortable with his family, in contrast to the calm and slightly bemused look that Perry Taylor sports when he's helping Britney with Sean Preston, which isn't even in his job description. Perry seems like a stand up guy with a regular past that isn't too embarassing.

In an interview with Matt Lauer to air in Thursday night, Britney defends driving with her baby on her lap, saying that she often sat on her dad's lap as a child while he was behind the wheel, and that the practice is "country":
"I did it with my dad. I'd sit on his lap and I drive," the Louisiana native said. "We're country."
In this case "country" is code for "stupid," which is sure to piss off non city-dwellers everywhere.
Britney also defends her marriage with the absent Kevin, saying it's awesome that he's not living in the basement:
Opening up in an interview with NBC's Matt Lauer to be aired Thursday on the Today show and Dateline, the 24-year-old singer says it's not true that Federline is living in the basement, as some media have reported.
The paparazzi have "crossed the line a little bit" by showing her in private moments, she added. She also defended her parenting skills, saying, "I know I'm a good mom."
It's not true that Kevin's living in the basement because he's sleeping on a friend's couch in an apartment in Studio City, California and hasn't seen Britney in weeks. In her book that's awesome because Kevin is even more "country" than she is and she's afraid he'll endanger Sean Preston if he comes back to smoke up the house again with his pals.
It's sad that she thinks the paparrazi is the cause of her emotional state, but she should blame Kevin for that, not the hoards of photographers that follow her everywhere.

Maybe being humped by dolphins skeeved Jessica Alba out so bad that she became a germ-o-phobe, because she admits to using antibacterial Febreze liberally when she has to stay in hotels:
It's not like Alba's staying at the Comfort Inn, so she has a serious problem if she can't trust the cleanliness at the Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton.
Alba hasn't been seen with her boyfriend, Cash Warren, in some time. She was said to have broken his heart by deciding to move to NY in the near future, and may have discouraged him from proposing to her. Commentors on Jmazone.de note that Warren may be working in Vancouver, which could explain his absence.

Britian's The Sun, which we do not trust, is reporting that Britney and Kevin spent the weekend together and that Britney is upset that Kevin wants to make a movie that glorifies his psuedo-gansta past, similar to "8 Mile," except "8 Mile" was moderately accurate:
K-Fed, 28, plans to portray himself in the same mould as Eminem in 8 Mile — a tough rapper who’s risen from the streets.
But Britney, 24, fears he is going to cash in by dishing the dirt on their troubled relationship. A source said: “Britney has heard that Federline is working on a script and trying to get funding for the film.
She is really upset. Britney fears Kevin just wants to promote himself at her expense to further his career.”
The couple have grown increasingly distant. But Britney, above, is desperate to save the marriage before their second child arrives in the autumn.
She and Kevin spent the night in a hotel suite in Laguna Beach, California, at the weekend — and continued talking the next day.
Now, if Britney and Kevin spent the weekend together, why do they mention it as an afterthought? They haven't been photographed together in over two months and this would be huge news. The paparazzi follow them everywhere and there's no way this part of the story is true.
It might be true that Kevin is planning a film based on his life though. That sounds like the sort of thing the incompetent rapper would try. He claims to have been in a gang in Fresno, California, but he was vague and declined to give details because there aren't any.
"I'm not gonna sit here and say that I'm this grimy, gutter, gangsta. But I have been on the hustle."
Kevin, you've only hustled for Britney's money, and that's pretty inventive of you but it doesn't really make you capable of a film career beyond the unwatchable "Chaotic."
In related news, a couple of days ago we reported that Britney was going to design baby clothes. It's probably true because sleuths at Socialite's Life discovered that Britney has trademarked her infant son's name, Sean Preston, suggesting that she's planning a line of clothing under his name.

TMZ has a report stating that one of Kevin Federline's boys has denied the rumors that Kevin and Britney are headed for a divorce:
One friend, decked out in baggy pants and sunglasses, claims the talk of divorce is false. "Everything you read in the tabloids about their relationship is fabricated," the buddy said, claiming "They're still together."
Others interviewed at the complex agreed that the divorce talk is off base, but no one would agree to officially go on the record with a quote.
Kevin's staying in an apartment in California and hasn't been spotted with Britney in 74 days according to Us Weekly's counter. His friends are quick to say he's still with Britney but clearly he's not. Whether she's filed and signed divorce papers yet is another matter.
The National Ledger points out that Kevin's friends may say he's still with Britney but that Britney and K-Fed's publicists aren't saying a word. Kevin's publicist put out a press release when he donated his hair, so you know if he's still with Britney they would be all over that.

Josh Harnett's people have denied that he has broken up with Scarlett Johansson, as has been widely reported. Hartnett has been seen out with several different women, and people assumed that he had broken up with gorgeous Johannson, but his reps say that's not true:

The couple met on the set of their forthcoming movie, The Black Dahlia, in Bulgaria.
Hartnett was said to have broken up with Johansson back in late March, but they were spotted leaving a NY spa together after a couples' massage about a week later.
Hartnett made a reference to his relationship problems in a video interview aired on TMZ in late March, saying:
For her part, Johansson is quoted as saying in January that she doesn't think "human beings are monogamous creatures by nature."
It sounds like Scarlett and Josh are having the type of on-again off-again relationship that is common with urban 20-somethings.

Brad Pitt may be jealous of the former murder suspect who is running Angelina Jolie's security force. Angelina calls the head of her security team, Mickey Brett, her "rock," and seems to relinquish control to the man who has been her bodyguard since 2001. She's supposedly even asked him to be Shiloh's godfather:
Brett has been protecting the 'Tomb Raider' actress and the couple's adopted children - Maddox, 4, and 16-month-old Zahara - during the family's stay at Namibia's Burning Short Lodge where Angelina prepared for the birth of new baby Shiloh Nouvel.
A source told Britain's Grazia magazine: "It's a platonic relationship but Brad gets jealous because she lets Mickey help her out of cars and allows him to tell her to rest up - something he isn't allowed to do."
Angelina, 30, has asked the minder, who she sees as her baby's spiritual guardian, to become godfather to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.
The source added: "Angelina is a tough woman who hates guys patronising her but there's something about the way Mickey looks after her that she likes."
If that's true it doesn't bode well for Pitt, who's been widely blasted for serving as Angelina's nanny, adopting her hobbies and interests, and generally catering to her every whim. Angelina may seem like she wants a "yes" man, but wimpy guys are easily discarded. Brad may look like less of a man when compared to a tough security guard who can set limits with Angelina.
Mickey Brett is considered a thug and is said to be responsible for the heavy-handed tactics of the Jolie-PItt security force in Namibia. Journalists have been followed, threatened, and beaten senseless for trying to get pictures of the famous family. Brett was suspected in the 1993 hiring death of a British tycoon, but was eventually cleared of charges due to lack of evidence
Pitt is said to be fed up with the heat and seclusion in Africa, and it's reported that he plans to move the family back to the states in early July so that he can start work on "Oceans 13."

On Thursday we reported that it looked like trouble for The O.C's adorable on and off-screen couple, Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody. The pair were spotted separately last week, with a disheleved Brody jamming out at a concert and Bilson getting drunk at clubs with her girlfriends. It looks like we were wrong that the two were having trouble, since Brody and Bilson were caught out shopping by the ever-present paparrazi last week. They're standing a little far apart, though we wouldn't read too much into it.

Everyone was confused about Britney's new baby-loving male companion. Some claimed it was her producer, J.R. Rotem and there was even one crazy rumor that we zealously reported that Britney was having an affair with her producer and that the baby she's carrying might be his.
Later the guy was confirmed to be Britney's male nanny, who perhaps does double-duty as a bodyguard. People were calling him by the uncommon name "Perry."
It turns out the guy's real name is "Henry," and he seems rather likeable from this brief description:
Baby crazy Brit was seen holding little Sean P. in her arms as the mystery man pushed the stroller in Malibu.
Now only "Extra" has the dish. Sources say the hunk is Britney's new nanny, Henry, and he was simply accompanying Brit on a mommy and me outing in the seaside town.
We caught up with Henry as he purchased flowers, and it looked like this tough guy wasn't scared of a little paparazzi loving. When asked if he was Brit's security, he simply smiled and walked away.
Britney has an absent and soon to be ex - husband, but she has a sweet male nanny and a brand new Porsche! She was spotted out in the hot new convertible taking driving lessons so that she can learn to drive standard.
She's giving the bird and hopefully the boot to Kevin, and taking back her life.

Adam Brody and Rachel Bilson, The O.C.'s onscreen and real life couple, have been going their separate ways lately. Bilson has been photographed drunk and out on the town with girlfriends, and Brody was seen looking scruffy at the Sasquatch music festival in Washington state.
Of course couples don't have to hang out together constantly, but Brody is looking pretty depressed and scruffy while Bilson is drunk. It seems like something's going on.

Britney Spears is said to be furious with her husband K-Fed for feeding stories about the couple to his scumbag friends to sell to the tabloids:
K-Fed is also said to have spent a whopping $300,000 on a watch without asking Britney if it was ok first. It may have been his money, since he made just that amount for a Japanese tour, but all his other purchases were clearly bankrolled by Britney. He has two cars, a Ferrari with custom "Federline" detailing, and a brand new Maserati. He couldn't afford to even lease the cars for a couple of months if it wasn't for Britney.
There's also a rumor that Britney is making Kevin stay in the basement of their California mansion, but another rumor has him kicked out already.
Let's hope the divorce is announced soon and Britney can move on with her life and her career.

The verdict is partially in and Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn's new movie, "The Breakup," is said to be terrible:
Initially meeting at a baseball game, Chicago tour guide Gary Grobowski (Vaughn) manages to persuade art gallery employee Brooke Meyers (Aniston) to dump her male friend and go out with him basically by buying her a hot dog.
Flash forward to the couple living in what isn`t exactly domestic bliss, with Brooke running around getting ready to host a dinner party for their families while Gary contentedly parks himself in front of the television.
With the cracks in their relationship finally reaching the breaking point, Brooke finally calls Gary for the jerk he is, but in her little schemes to make him realize the errors of his ways, Brooke only ends up matching him in the bad behavior department.
But what could have at best played out like a wilted "War of the Roses" ends up looking a lot more like Rob Reiner`s misbegotten "The Story of Us."
As for whether Aniston and Vaughn have broken up too, the verdict is still out. We reported that they seemed to be on the outs, at least according to Star Magazine, which said last week that Vince wanted time off from the relationship. US Weekly claimed to have an exclusive that they snuck off together after the LA premiere party, though.
Judging from the pictures at the Chicago premiere of "The Break Up" on Sunday, they still kept their distance. They were photographed together yesterday at the Cubs Reds game however, at which Vince threw the first pitch.
Aniston is said to have phoned Brad's manager to wish Brad and Angelina best wishes after the birth of their baby this weekend. That's rather weak considering she could have written a card or given a charitable donation in Shiloh's honor.
We'll just have to wait and see if these two last, but their relationship doesn't seem strong and we doubt they'll go the distance.

Britney has been seen out with a cute young guy toting Sean Preston around, and we breathlessly reported Thursday that she's rumored to be dating her record producer, J.R. Rotem, and this may or may not be him. The guy was named as J.R. Rotem in earlier pictures of the two out getting coffee last week. Some people are still saying he's the record producer, while most claim he's the manny:
Lainey's Gossip says that it's Rotem and that he's so fond of Brit he's wearing the Baby Bjorn. They also claim Britney has a schoolgirl crush on her helpful producer, which is why she's been wearing bright red lipstick and making an effort with her appearance.
'notice how she's looking better? With the lipstick and everything? She denies but she is totally in to this guy, not to have an affair but it's something fun, like a crush at work. We are all pretty excited because Kevin is really mad.'
The 'guy' in question is apparently some music producer who has been photographed on a couple of occasions with La Brit, even going so far as to strap on the Bjorn which, as we all know, is a helluva lot more than what that KF*cker is capable of. As I hear it, she's like a girl who has developed a new distraction, something that gets her up in the morning. And this is accounting for her marginally improved appearance.
In the only pictures we could find of Rotem, he looks similar to Britney's help, but it doesn't seem like the same guy. Britney was also photographed in her car with a guy said to be Rotem on 4/24 - before she canned her old nanny - and his hair is darker than this new guy.
If that is really producer J.R. Rotem, he's hanging out with Britney a lot and is going above and beyond by wearing the Baby Bjorn. We doubt it's the same guy.
If that's the Manny, he's not observant enough since Sean Preston is chewing on a piece of paper in the pictures below.
As to Britney's crush/affair and to whom it's with - the truth may be somewhere in between. She's taking better care of herself, and it could be due to the influence of her new male nanny. She also has had more public appearances lately, it's spring, and she's recording a new album. She's ready to dump K-Fed and her dumpy self.
Britney has reportedly kicked her husband K-Fed out of the couple's California mansion. He hasn't been photographed with Britney in weeks, and she's been all over the place looking halfway decent with a new guy who bears a resemblance to her record producer. No wonder people say she's having an affair.

Jessica Alba is moving to NY and is leaving her broken-hearted boyfriend, Cash Warren, in LA. Warren, 26, wanted to propose to Alba, 25, but it doesn't seem like she is open to it:

Katie Holmes has left Hollywood for the sanity and security of her parent's home in Ohio. She brought baby Suri with her, and left controlling Tom at home. Sources say she had a huge blowout with Tom and is relieved to be rid of him:
“He told Katie he wasn’t going, considering the bad relations between him and her family,” an “insider” told the mag. “Katie was really happy he said that, because she’d been afraid to admit to him that she didn’t want him to go.”
The couple allegedly had a “huge argument” which ended with Katie declaring, “I’m doing this and you can’t stop me.” Her rep denies the story.
Cruise reportedly decided to fly his fiancée and tot to Toledo, drop them off and fly back to pick them up.
The episode, however, may be giving Holmes second thoughts. A “confidant” of hers told the mag: “Katie’s very unhappy and beginning to realize she may have made a major mistake being with Tom.”
We do not like Tom and are not defending him - but it was nice of him to fly Katie to see her parents even if he's too stubborn to go too. Hopefully Katie's family will talk some sense into her and help her escape controlling Tom and the Scientologist handlers. Yesterday's report that Tom won't marry Katie until she's fully brainwashed by Scientologists may simply mean that Katie has real misgivings about the relationship and isn't ready to hand over her life and will to a crazy cult.
As an aside - wouldn't it be great if the first pictures published of Suri are paparrazi photos taken in Ohio? That would really rock.

Yesterday was a big day for Britney Spears. She posted a new "song" on her official website briefly that was an obvious condemnation of her lazy hick husband, and then she was videotaped and photographed nearly dropping her eight month-old baby, Sean Preston, while walking in NYC.
TMZ had a video of the incident up on their site, but just like the new song on Britney's site it is curiously missing now. You can get the gist from the pictures, below:
Moms have to multi-task and I could see carrying a plastic water bottle that is easily discarded, but a highball glass? Those are the type of glasses in limos from our limited experience, but leave the damn thing in the car if you have to carry your baby! Plus Britney is wearing wedges, too long pants, and is pregnant. Man that is a bad combination.
The guy with the '70s porn 'stash (we came up with this on our own, and noticed that IDLYITW said the same thing about him. Great minds.) who catches SP is on her staff because he's seen in pictures of her elsewhere in NY. If she was alone she would have dropped the poor thing, but she probably wouldn't have been carrying a highball glass while walking down the street, either. Oh Britney.

Yesterday we mentioned that Paris hasn't been spotted with her new boyfriend, NFL quarterback Matt Leinart, since last Wednesday morning when he did the walk of shame outside of her place. There may be a good reason for that - Leinart has supposedly taken flack from his teammates for getting so much press by banging Paris:

The guy was just recruited by the Arizona Cardinals and he needs to prove himself. His contract details are not known, but his deal is said to be around $12 million. That seems like a lot of money, but he may have lost out on about $10 million more. He was the number 10 draft pick after falling in the rankings by losing a national title game, so he's probably worried about his football career. He's obviously taking his teammates seriously and probably won't be seeing much more of Paris.

MSNBC's The Scoop is reporting that cult-loving Madonna has been seen out without her wedding ring. People have speculated that Madonna's five-year marriage to Guy Richie is in trouble for some time.
Madonna’s rep says the absence of the ring is not significant. “I don’t think there’s any particular meaning to that,” she told The Scoop. “She does not always wear her wedding band.”
Still, fans of the singer were alarmed when her brother recently suggested that Madonna and guy were staying together mostly for the children. “They both want to see the children,” Christopher Ciccone told the London Mirror. “It’s the children that will keep them together. The children are everything to them.”
While Madonna is out touring and promoting her new album, Guy's career has languished. He put out Revolver last year, a critical and commercial failure, and before that was the terrible Madonna film Swept Away in 2002. His only hits are Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels from 1998 and Snatch in 2000, both of which were brilliant but he hasn't been able to create a follow-up.
Madonna was said to have put Guy on a curfew a couple of months ago, and tried to limit his drinking to three pints a night.
Last month she was supposed to be trying for another baby, but that sounded like just a rumor.
Guy was said to be going on a month-long extreme sports vacation with his friends this month, and it is unclear if they are even together.
Madonna has recently said that she feels like a bad mother for spending so much time working. Does she feel like a bad wife too?

The NY Post reported this weekend that Beyonce had a fight with her long term boyfriend, Def Jam president Jay-Z, while at Monday's Net-Heat playoff game, and left to fly back home:
It seems like the report was overblown and the power couple patched things up quickly. They were snapped enjoying game three of the Net-Heat playoffs on Friday. Heat won 103 to 92, and is ahead in the series three to one. Game five is tomorrow.
In an appearance on today's "Oprah," Vince Vaughn sort of acknowledged his relationship with co-star Jennifer Aniston when questioned directly, but he gave the old "Jen's my friend" response earlier in the interview:
Even though they're hounded by the press and there's a lot of controversy over Pitt leaving Aniston for Angelina Jolie, you think Vaughn could come up with a better way to handle it than to act like he's just buddies with his live-in girlfriend. He told David Letterman about a week ago that "I'm not saying we are or aren't a couple. I think she's great, but I just don't discuss whether we are."
That's weird and most celebrities at least acknowledge their significant other without getting into too much detail. It's strange that Vaughn is referring to Aniston like a friend's sister or someone he just happens to know, and it doesn't make their relationship seem too secure.
When Oprah asked Vince if he considered having children with Aniston, he didn't jump back into his "just friends" mantra and seemed to acknowledge that he's with her. He said there's no way he's having kids with her, though:
Has Vince discussed having kids with Jennifer? "No, I have not talked about having kids with Jennifer," he says. "I think [having children] takes a lot of focus, takes a lot of attention. I think it would be nice at some point to have a different priority in something else as you've sort of done stuff and challenged yourself, I think that time would come. But not any time in the near future for me, I don't think."
It doesn't sound like VInce wants to stay in his relationship. Any guy his age who wants kids but doesn't want them with their girlfriend - just doesn't want to be with their girlfriend.
Aniston is said to have asked Vince to give up a role that would have required him to film abroad for three months, suggesting that she's just as clingy and whiny as everyone thinks she is.
Aniston is also said to be devastated by the artsy pictures of Brad and Angelina on the beach in Namibia that came out a couple weeks ago. She was nearly in tears and said that Brad never looked that happy with her. It's just a matter of time before Vince wises up, too.

Britney Spears is said to be fed up with her husband Kevin Federline's spending, and has told him she won't pay for any more expensive trips to Vegas for him and his friends:
This isn't the first time Britney has been concerned with Kevin's spending. She supposedly cut up his credit cards and had his Ferrari towed back in December, but quickly reneged.
This comes right after news that Britney hired a security guard babysitter for Kevin, further suggesting their relationship is on the rocks.

The National Enquirer is running an exclusive that claims that Keith Urban has called off plans to marry Nicole in order to focus on his sobriety. They claim that Nicole had a fall wedding in Tahiti planned, but that Urban canned it and wants time off from the relationship:

Sources say that Nicole had already set a date and started making plans for a fall wedding in Tahiti when the handsome star, voted Country Music Entertainer of the Year in 2005, delivered the bombshell news.

"Keith told her he wanted to cool things down before the CMT Awards in Nashville in April ... and Nicole was just gutted." They separated at that point — with Keith staying in Nashville and Nicole going off to The Hamptons to shoot a new movie.
A grim-faced Nicole, 38, has been spotted in East Hampton, New York, without the spectacular 3.5 carat ring that Keith, also 38, is said to have given her for the unofficial engagement last November.
This doesn't seem true to us for a few reasons. First of all, Nicole may not have been wearing her engagement ring while she was in the Hamptons, but she was seen with a plain gold band that looked suspiciously like a wedding ring.
From what we heard, Nicole was planning a summer wedding in Australia, not a fall wedding in Tahiti. The Sun reports today that Nicole has set the date for June 25th, beating Tom and Katie's expected 4th of July wedding.
Urban may have wanted some time away, but it sounds like a temporary thing, and the "insider" may have been reporting old news. They made a reference to the CMT awards, which were on April 10th, nearly a month ago. Keith spoke of Nicole specifically at the CMT awards, in what was viewed as his first public admission of their relationship. Plus, Nicole could be pregnant and has been seen with what may be a growing baby bump.
Hopefully Nicole and Keith will get married soon and put all these silly rumors behind them.

We were right that K-Fed's jealousy of Britney's fame is what kept her from his concert. Kevin is said to have told Britney over dinner to stay away from his show at Pure nightclub last Friday, even though she was planning on coming and was already in Vegas to support him:
The 'Toxic' singer - who has a son, Sean Preston, with 28-year-old Federline - is said to have been devastated after he broke the news to her on a dinner date at plush Las Vegas restaurant Nero.
One onlooker said: "It was a full-blown war of words. It was a very bad night for Britney.
"Kevin didn't want Britney overshadowing him on the red carpet. Britney fled the restaurant and raced up to her suite alone, boycotting his performance."
Britney was seen fleeing to her suite in tears. An earlier report had Britney jealous that Federline had invited Paris Hilton to come, (although Paris sent her parents instead) but it makes more sense that K-Fed's jealousy is what kept her away. Earlier rumors had the couple fighting over the fact that K-Fed thought that Brtiney stole his thunder at his performances.
Kevin Federline cannot rap and would have no career if it wasn't for his talented wife. He was said to have turned down an earlier offer from Britney to get professional production help on his album. He's a fool for not accepting Britney's support, and for telling her to stay away from his shows. She will hopefully come to her senses and leave him soon.

Madonna, 47, is supposedly trying for another baby with her husband of five years, Guy Ritchie, 37. Madonna has a five year-old son with Richie and a nine year-old daughter from a different father:
The sexy singer... is said to have agreed to try for a baby after Guy told her he wanted their son to have a little brother or sister. A source is quoted in Daily Star newspaper as saying: "They are more in love than ever and having another baby will be their first priority.
Last month, Madonna was said to have put Ritchie on a curfew and tried to curtail his drinking. Ritchie's father confirmed that the couple was having trouble, when he said in a statement last week that they were going through a "bumpy period" and that "the children... will keep them together."
Guy will be going on a month-long extreme sports vacation with his friends next month and Madonna will be on tour soon, so they won't have much more time to try.
In related news Madonna will piss off plenty of Christians in her new tour. She's going to use a huge Swarovski-studded disco-fied crucifix as a central stage decoration.

This doesn't sound true to me, but I didn't think that Angelina and Brad would move their family to Africa, either, so it might be more than just a rumor. Angelina Jolie is said to be thinking of getting rid of Brad Pitt once their baby is born:
"It's basically over between Brad and Angelina," says a friend of the couple. They can't agree on anything - even where to have the baby."
Once Brad confronted Angie over her e-mails with Colin - she told him that if he couldn't trust her - perhaps they shouldn't be together, the report details.
Brad eventually backed off - but the damage was done.
There reportedly was never even a meeting with Angie and Colin, according to the story in the weekly magazine - but still the seeds of doubt appear to be planted in Brad.
And worse - the story claims Jolie is concerned that Brad is too jealous.
While this could be true, she is also due soon and is probably more sensitive than usual. Hopefully she will change her mind once the baby arrives.
Meanwhile their over-agressive security forces are pissing off the locals and threatening people, and the new tattoo on Brad's lower back has been revealed as a Sanskrit Buddhist blessing meant to protect his adopted son, Maddox. It is similar to the tattoo that Angelina has on her back. Will the guy ever get an identity of his own? No wonder Angelina's tired of him.

We have sort of exclusive googled-derived pictures of the Namibian resort that Brad and Angelina have booked out just in case Angelina decides to give birth in Africa.
The world's most famous couple have holed up in the "Burning Shore Lodge" in Namibia. Angelina is said to be uncertain if she wants to give birth in Africa or France, and Brad is along for the ride. They have a jet on standby in case they choose to return for Paris in time for the birth of their first biological child.
Reports say Angelina and Brad have booked up all "seven" rooms in the resort for three months, but there are seven rooms and five suites, so the reports are probably mistaken.
A modern, luxurious establishment, this ocean-side lodge is locatedon Long Beach just south of the unique quaint town of Swakopmund.
It offers 7 Luxury Rooms and 5 Luxury Suites, all enjoying private bathroom facilities.
Prices range from a modest $134 to $268 per night for two people. By our crude calculations, a three month stay in the entire hotel would cost around $240,000 USD.
The couple have been plagued by fighting and breakup rumors, which initially seemed like heresay but have come to ring true to us.

As her due date nears, the magazine reports that friends say Angelina Jolie is starting to feel trapped in her relationship with Brad Pitt. She even insisted he go to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic to check out real estate because “she wanted her space.”

They can’t seem to agree on anything lately,” says another confidante, adding that the pair has been arguing about everything from where baby, [sic] to whether or not to marry before the birth.

Kevin Federline and Britney Spears are reportedly fighting because KFed feels that Britney steals all the attention at events promoting his album. Both Star Magazine and Life and Style report that Federline feels lame because he can't get any recognition on his own. The gossip rags have a similar take on Kevin's promotional appearance at Club X in Dallas on April 1st.

“But when Britney walked in, the crowd went crazy.”
“It’s always about Britney — or Britney and Kevin as a couple — but these events are about Kevin,” says a K-Fed insider, who adds that Kevin arrived at the club solo to keep the spotlight on him only. (Brit arrived about half an hour later.) “I’m not even sure Kevin thought she was coming, because he was just focusing on himself.”
"He didn't want her there to steal his thunder. He feels that whenever Britney is around, she inevitably gets all the attention. However, a source close to Britney, 24, says she's the one who's mad, thanks to Kevin, 28, and his oversize ego.
"What he doesn't seem to understand," the source fumes, "is that the only reason anyone is interested in him is because he's Britney Spears' husband. He would not have an album if it weren't for Britney."
While Britney's right about being the bigger star, she has mistaken ideas about where she should focus her efforts. She seems to think her forgettable drop-in appearance on Will and Grace is the beginning of an actual acting career:

Liev Schreiber hosted Dewar's "Hot Scot" party at Cielo last night in New York. Noticeably absent was his girlfriend of one year, Australian actress Naomi Watts.
Watts and Schreiber have been plagued by breakup rumors since Watts attended the Oscars alone. The NY Daily News reported a couple weeks ago that the two were seeking different partners and that a source said Watts found Schreiber too controlling.
Reader Millie e-mailed her take on the relationship. She thinks that the control issue is bogus and that Schreiber remains interested and wants to marry Watts, but that she has cold feet. She also points out a video of Schreiber protecting Watts from the paparrazi that was filmed in late January as clear evidence that he cares for her.
To further complicate matters, Watts might be pregnant.

Life & Style Weekly claims that Vince Vaughn has tried to arrange a wedding date twice and that Aniston has backed out each time:

And she shouldn't try to air her pain by speaking to any more reporters, either. At least this article doesn't contain more than one Aniston quote. The girl says some stupid things when she rambles.
Regardless of whether she's backed out or not, Aniston has denied that's she in a race to the altar with her famous ex, or that she is planning a lavish wedding at Oprah's estate.

Carmen Electra spread 'em wide during her appearance on The Tonight Show on 3/29. She demonstrated the latest moves she's learning at the circus dance school she attends.
She also denied that she's pregnant and avoided addressing whether she's having problems with her husband, Dave Navarro. She deflected the question with a bad joke, and wasn't too convincing: (Dialogue transcribed from video)
Leno then reminded Electra about the stripper pole she talked about during her last visit, and she brought up the "aerial hoop," which is a ring hanging from the ceiling from which you can do "all these really sexy moves." She spread her legs, covering herself with her dress, and put her feet in Rob Schneider's lap. He acted all silly and put a pillow over his lap.
Electra isn't fooling anyone with her antics, and while she said that "[Dave] looks like a bad boy, but he's sweet" when asked if she goes for the bad boy type, she never said once that "Dave and I are fine."

So supposedly Angelina and Brad are fighting up a storm in Paris and Jennifer Aniston is gloating. None of these rumors require any facts to back them up, because they're pretty easy to make up given that we know practically everything about these people since they're hounded by photographers and reporters every day.
Star says that Brad misses the states and that he's fighting with Angelina over the wedding, which she says isn't happening. They also say Angelina is very passionate (that's a leap) and doesn't fight fair with Brad.
Meanwhile Jen is waiting for the couple to break up, which is also no surprise:
And the article goes on to quote The Bosh, which says that Aniston's trying to get pregnant with her bloated boyfriend, Vince Vaughn, but that she doesn't care if they get married first. God forbid she should try to give up cigarettes in a bid to increase her fertility.
We seriously doubt that anything dire is wrong with the Jolie-Pitts, and hope that Aniston's womb stays barren forever.

"Singer" James Blunt denied yesterday's rumors of his affair with British socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson. Tomkinson played coy, seeming to suggest the rumors are true:
And when asked about James, she smiled and said, teasingly: "No comment."
Blunt's girlfriend Camilla Boler, the inspiration for that terrible song "You're Beautiful," revealed how stupid she has to be to date him by stating that she believes him:
We just hope this latest drama doesn't inspire Blunt to write a song. With the news that his producer is suing him and will no longer rework his simplistic songs, it's sure to be god-awful.

Star Magazine reports that Brad and Angelina are fighting. This news seems old and cobbled together, and reminds us of the "Angelina's pissed off about Brad's drinking" story that was made up based on pictures published of the couple:
"Brad said they argued about getting married," a source tells Star. "He said she refused point-blank to set a date, and told him that if he kept pushing her it would be over forever. Then she left with the kids. When she returned that night, [March 20th] she refused to discuss it. She just told him, 'Forget about it, OK!' But Brad worries — and the more worried he gets, the angrier Angelina gets. He said she's so passionate, she explodes and then disappears until she calms down — and they can never discuss things rationally or calmly."
Who would the source be for this story? It could be their help, that's always possible, but you think they'd be savvy enough to get rid of people who sell stories to the tabloids.
We don't buy it.
A more plausible story is that Angelina has flown her ailing mother out to Paris to be there for the birth of her baby, which is said to be due on May 18th.
“Angelina has been having regular check-ups at a hospital in Paris and it is expected that she will give birth within the next few weeks.”
This is good news, and solves the conflict Angelina was facing between honoring her mother's wishes by having the baby in her native France vs. giving birth in the states so that her mother can spend time with the baby. It also probably gives the Jolie-Pitts a little more space from the ever-present paparrazi.

Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend were spotted leaving celebrity getaway Chateau Marmont in Hollywood three days ago, belying rumors that they've split.
Charlize has been without her steady partner lately, leading people to speculate that they've split. She went on tour to promote the Japanese release of Aeon Flux right after the Oscars. She also was spotted solo at the SXSW film festival in mid March.
Charlize was said to want time off from the relationship to concentrate on her busy career.
From these latest photos, It looks like the couple is trying to make it work.
People on the JJB bulletin board where we found the pictures have said that Theron look pregnant. We think she's just wearing a tight top and that these are unflattering pictures.

Britney cleaned up well and dressed modestly for a party at Vision nightclub in Atlanta to promote her husband Kevin Federline's new critically-panned rap-like album last night.
Britney and Kevin have a shaky relationship as everyone knows, and it's nice that Britney is trying to support Kevin, however misguided his career.
Britney and her mother are said to be fighting. Britney was supposedly "in shock" after her mother refused to fly out to Hawaii to lend her support after Britney and Kevin had a row. Mrs. Spears may be annoyed that Britney is quick to ask for help but slow to act on everyone's advice that she leave Kevin.

25 year-old Justin Timberlake won't take the next step with Cameron Diaz and get engaged. Friends say he's "confused."
Justin's publicist of course denies this charge.
Justin and Cameron have been going out for three years so he doesn't seem to be the type of guy that's not capable of commitment. When a guy can stay in a long-term relationship but can't take the next step it means to us that he's not ready to marry the woman he's with, not that he's not ready to marry in general.
Diaz is 33 and she probably won't put up with this for much longer. We don't see the couple lasting.

Carmen Electra was on hand to deal the ceremonial first hand at opening of Foxwoods Casino's "World Poker Tour" poker room in Ledyard, CT, yesterday. Electra also enjoyed Foxwoods' "signature $3,000 Sapphire martini" and supervised the handover of a large physical, but small denominational check of $25,000 to the Children's Miracle Network. (That's less than 9 martinis - you think they could spring for more.) Lisa Gastineau was also hired as a per diem spokesperson.
Electra's husband, Dave Navarro, did not come with her to the opening. Egotastic has some juicy news from an insider who claims that the rumors of their marriage being in trouble are sadly true:
The producers were like "Oooh, come to the after party, Dave is looking for a night of fun if you know what I mean!" after I asked about Dave and Carmen's status (funny, my boyfriend was standing like 5 feet away haha).
They also kept referring to him and Carmen not being together, and they were trying to recruit girls. He was looking for some girls for the night, but when I was like, "What?! I love Carmen! They aren't together?" Then they'd get all hush hush with funny smiles and say they aren't saying nothing...
There you have it, an anonymous tip to add that extra pinch of credence to the rumors. Chloe Sevigny is shaking her head in an "I told you so" way right now.

Britney and Kevin are in Vegas for Kevin's 28th birthday party. TMZ has a quick video of the couple out last night while the pictures below were taken. Britney has her hand over her stomach, but it could mean anything. It does not look like she is hiding a bump, contrary to some reports.

“She was thrilled to be back with Brody,” says the source. “She was all over him all night. They left together, too.”
The article in Star speculates that Nick is not over Jessica and mentions that Nick's friends thought Cavallari was up to no good even before this incident. Still, we doubt that one failed rebound relationship will lead Nick and Jessica to reunite.
Here's Cavallari with some obvious hair extensions at the premiere for "Yo Mamma," where she completely denied dating Lachey.
Brad is said to be pissing off Angelina with his frequent drinking. Someone probably made this story up after seeing the pictures of Brad having dinner in Paris with some American friends on Monday night.
The report cites the source that tells the tabloid, "He has a few drinks each night to end each day."
But apparently Brad is taking it too far. Jolie can't drink- she seven months preggers and reports say she is moody. So - according to the item in the weekly magazine - she also doesn't want to see Brad drinking every night as the report suggests.
"She's getting a little tired of seeing him slumped on the couch night-after night," the insider claims.
Not only is Brad drinking too much for Angelina's taste, he was photographed smoking out the window of the couple's Paris apartment this weekend.
The Sun also reports that Brad was looking rough on Monday and needs to clean up his look.

Star is set to report that the rumors that Charlize Theron 30, has split with her boyfriend of five years, 33 year-old Irish actor Stuart Townsend, are true. Theron's publicist released an exasperated statement a week ago that the two were still together in response to speculation that they had split. According to Star, Theron wants time away from Townsend to concentrate on her career.
Charlize, 30, wants to concentrate on her career, whereas Stuart is a lot more happy-go-lucky and fun loving,” the source says.
According to the source, Charlize wants to see if she is happier on her own. “If she is, she’ll make the break permanent,” says the source.
Saying you want time away from the other person usually spells doom for a relationship. Maybe Theron will reunite with Townsend after she has some time to herself, but we doubt it.

Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts are having relationship trouble after nearly a year of dating. Friends say the two are looking for new partners and admit that things are not going well. Schreiber is said to be too controlling, and may want Watts to quit working to have a baby:
Watts' rep swears, "Everything is fine. This is total nonsense."
Schreiber, who stars this summer as Macbeth in Shakespeare in the Park, insists he's no one to meddle.
"If anything," he laughs, "I'm grateful if Naomi gives me advice. Especially when it comes to dressing. She's a lot more experienced with what to wear."
Schreiber sounds like an asshole with that comment, and we wouldn't be surprised if he's controlling. There's something smarmy about the guy and we hope Watts is able to find someone who supports his career rather than trying to tell her what to do.

In Touch weekly has published some gossip from a "friend" of Jerry Seinfeld's wife, Jessica, suggesting their marriage is in trouble. The poor woman complains about being left alone to take care of their three children and her friend blabs to the tabloid:

Looks like there could be problems brewing on the Seinfeld home front. Jerry’s wife of six years, Jessica, 34, recently told a friend she’s sick and tired of Jerry, 51, going on tour. “She said she gave up her career and now just takes care of her children while he’s on the road,” the pal says.
But it doesn’t seem like she’s ready to walk away, says the friend. “She signed a prenup that would leave her with very little,” the pal says.
The article goes on to say that the Seinfelds have a 25 room penthouse in NY and a mansion in the Hamptons.
It sounds to us like the woman is just trying to blow off steam by confiding in a friend. It's tiresome to take care of kids all day, and she has the right to complain. Her "friend" sounds jealous and should have kept her mouth shut.
Jerry Seinfeld, 51, met his wife Jessica, 33, in 1998 while they were working out at the same gym in NY. Jessica was a newlywed at the time and divorced her husband to be with Seinfeld. They have three children Sascha, 4, Julian, 3, and Shepherd, 7 months.

Carmen and Dave were photographed outside of Fred Segal today. Dave is not the type of guy to go shopping with his wife and they're obviously doing this for publicity. We reported earlier today that Life and Style is claiming the couple is having trouble and that Dave confirmed that they're rarely together. You know that Carmen is pissed. Now they're doing damage control.

Charlize's publicist says that her boyfriend, Irish actor Stuart Townsend, has been away and the rumors that two have split are false:
Following the latest Hollywood split announcement, Theron's publicist, Amanda Silverman, has released a statement saying: "Stuart and Charlize have not broken up.
"Next week everyone will be calling me saying they were married. We can't win."

Sugababes star Keisha Buchanon claims that K-Fed was checking her out - right in front of Britney and his infant son.

Reese Witherspoon is supposedy trying for a third child to try to save her marriage with Ryan Phillippe. We reported four days ago that the two were having trouble, which Reese characteristically shrugged off.
Now she may be trying to get pregnant again to give her husband another incentive to stay:
The stunning actress and husband Ryan Philippe - who have two children, six-year-old Ava and Deacon, 2 - have been at the centre of speculation their marriage is on the rocks for weeks.

A source is quoted as saying: 'Reese has achieved everything a woman could want except for a rock-solid marriage.'
Reese - no one's marriage is rock solid. Cook him a great dinner and then have sex with him. That's all it takes.

Madonna makes one of the dumbest, oldest marriage mistakes by thinking that she'll save her relationship by telling her husband what to do:
"She has told him that he needs to spend a minimum of two to three nights a week in the family home, and that he should be back by 11pm, when the pubs close. Friday night, the Jewish Sabbath, is particularly sacred to her - she wants Guy to be at home on this night above any other," the insider continued. "Madonna has also asked him to limit his drinking to three pints a night.
"While clearly not enamoured with his wife's rules, Guy has agreed to go along with them because he knows that throughout their marriage Madonna has let him get away with plenty. It is only fair that he plays ball now."
Guy has agreed to go along with Madge because he hasn't had work in a while and is stuck with her. If she wasn't one of richest women on the planet he would kick her to the curb. Sarah Jessica Parker thinks her husband can do better. She recently said that she fears she's "holding him back." Isn't that what people say when they need an excuse to leave?:

Reese Witherspoon is like her character Tracy Flick in the movie Election with Matthew Broderick. If you haven't seen it yet, you should rent it because it's cute. Reese's character is an annoying over-achiever with a permanently pasted-on smile. She's tireless and stops at nothing to get what she wants.
That's why we think that if Reese and Ryan are having a rough patch, Reese will make it work.
Access Hollywood says there's nothing to the cover story in this week's Life & Style that Reese and Ryan are having trouble. They base this on Reese's remarks, which may have nothing to do with reality:
Now, Reese and Ryan are together in London, where Ryan traveled to be with Reese while she's working on her new film “Penelope.”
And in a relationship consisting of two busy actors, those are the types of things you have to do to make it work, as Reese told us.
“We love each other. We have done everything together for nine years,” she smiled.

The highest paid actress in Hollywood may be having trouble with her marriage. At least that's what Life and Style is set to report. On the red carpet at the Oscars, Ryan Philippe lauded his hardworking wife, but he was later seen sulking alone at parties after the event:
She was even overheard asking at the Vanity Fair party, "Did I thank Ryan (during the acceptance speech) “He’s so easy to forget most of the time!”
While Reese's career has skyrocketed, Ryan has been in smaller roles. He appeared in best picture Crash, and has several projects in the works, but has not achieved Reese's level of fame. Reese will be 30 this month and has been married to Ryan, 31, since 1999. They have two children: a daughter, Ava, 6, and a son, Deacon, 2.
Along with declaring Ryan forgettable, Reese also dedicated her Oscar to all the "boys who dumped [her]." Her husband was probably just grumpy and tired after all the stress of the Academy Awards, but she should still focus on her current relationship instead of harping on the past.
